I walked into a coffee shop the other week and paused my step. I was like...hey its shpongle!!! One guy in the back was like bro you are the second random person to walk in the last five minutes and know who Shpongle is lol.
When I finally woke up, I was like, 'Whoa. That wasn't a dream. That was a visitation to this real place, the land of the inexpressible .'...Oh, man. It was just like one of those, like, life-altering experiences. I mean, I could never really look at the world the same way again after that.
Ecstasy is not just extreme pleasure. Ecstasy is the realization of immortality and the realization that everything is heaven. When you realize that it's so good. It's infinitely good. It's not just good, it's good to the infinite degree. It's so much goodness that you can't contain it, your body can't hold it, your entire body shakes and shudders in a cosmic orgasm of bliss. It's perfection. It's total peace. It's absolute love. That's truly ecstasy.

That when you come back you're gonna be like what the fuck was that? And you're gonna spend a week just in the shower, what the fuck was that? Cooking your food, what the fuck was that? Driving to work, what the fuck was that? Sitting at work doing your work, what the fuck was that? Thinking that. Trying to wrap your mind around it. Try to remember and trying to figure it out and that's a very valuable process.
There are a lot of other great ones out there as well, but I agree Shpongle is amazing. You could call it psychedelic- progressive, or something like that. However I feel like each song has multiple genres thrown together, hard to tell when a song ends and another begins sometimes!

I concur, definitely a favorite with multiple types of psychedelics, including even on DXM (robo), shpongle is a godsend....on mushrooms though I had one experience listening to one of their albums on only a 1/16, as I was lying curled up in a ball, ac cranked up in the dark 😋, I seemingly got transported to the this weird place that was extremely bloody and human carcasses were litterally piled up on this massive conveyor belt, this totally weirded me out so i pulled my consciousness out from "there' by sitting up and pulling the headphones off.

In my case I've never needed psychedelics cause my life started as a trip with traumatic events very young. I feel like the shpongle of this world don't need much to do exquisite art as they seem to have pushed thems_elves at the edge of infinite wisdom and cannot be restrained from mastering their arts. I played it, and from the first notes of Dorset Perception to the very end over an hour later, I sat there, unable to move, occasionally gaping in amazement. I had other things to do, but I couldn't stop listening. I was literally struck dumb for 69 minutes. What an introduction to the genre!

I found Shpongle by accident while I was dosing on ten.The first song I clicked on was Divine Moments of Truth! This spoke to me on a cosmic level! It took me back to my first dmt trip! It was,....Amazing! I just recently learned that Shpongles' last live shows in the U.S. is going to be on May 3rd&4th of 2019 in the U.S.A.! I absouletly had to go! I bought tickets for my friend willow and her man and myself! ....I'm hearbroken that we are not going to be able to have physical tickets, to frame in our homes to remind of us this amazing show! We should be offered , paper tickets to memoralize this event in history!

I once smoked good hash and put this album on! I lay down to bed and closed My eyes. I get to some state of mind where I saw inkas and mayans and native Americans on so lively visions that i hadnt never experienced. When album ended i fell asleep and those were best all night sleep i ever had!
Same experience, I saw them doing a tribal dance and they were cruel as they were celebrating someone's abduction but the end was relaxing and soothing! I ended my journey with a delicious pizza in which all toppings were alive 😅 and I woke up at midnight to see beautiful meteors all over the sky and many stars were revolving 😂 and saw a beautiful morning colourful sky and sunrise from across the tall cedars!
Whenever the vocals start in Star Shpongled Banner I begin to feel some kind of way… it’s all so nostalgic even if it’s your first time hearing it, like you’re remembering other lives, but those vocals really send me somewhere else….

Shpongle put on a great show, and I'll always be glad I got to see one of their shows while I could. I might have gotten a contact buzz just from being around the crowd. I DEFINITELY got a contact buzz of a different sort, from dancing with a girl who in hindsight was probably on ecstasy. Or who knows, maybe it was my suave charm that put her in a state of ecstasy... Yes, I'm sure that's it!

curious, how did you find about them? the only reason why i found them was because of psychedelics and it looks like almost everyone else does too lol i googled, “best music for mushroom trip” and redditors suggested shpongle and i said, don’t know what that is but i ended up listening to Are You Shoongled? and i had the craziest mushroom trip. been listening to them ever since. i still can’t wrap my head around how Shoongle makes this beautiful music. feels like aliens created it lol

i googled, “best music for mushroom trip” and redditors suggested shpongle and i said, don’t know what that is but i ended up listening to Are You Shoongled? and i had the craziest mushroom trip. been listening to them ever since. i still can’t wrap my head around how Shoongle makes this beautiful music. feels like aliens created it lol
