I appreciate your honesty on how you found the Durian. I used to hate it and would even go in to fights with one of my friends when he brought one in to our room. However, I love it now. I seems that the more you try it out, it grows on you, and soon you’ll love it too… maybe.
OMG! You're in Davao City! I hope you'd enjoy your stay here. I had a friend who visited here and said there aren't many fun things to do. I kind of agree. You have to go to nearby provinces to enjoy the beach or go far from the city to enjoy nature. But then, hope you'd have fun here. Take care and stay safe . ❤
Yes, not for well traveled couple like them who explored exotic South East Asian countries. It seems they’re not enjoying much but it’s ok.. I think Davao is the last city they visited before traveling out of the country. It’s bye bye Phil. again
Overall Davao City is boring, and really not much to do in the area. I have never found a beach near the area that was good. Samal Island has some beaches but they are not very good.
I really had a strong feeling that you’ll go to Davao since you guys mentioned that you are going to more unexplored parts of the country. Even though Davao is not built for tourism like the Visayas Islands, I do hope you guys enjoy and appreciate this underrated destination! Cheers!
I was born in Agdao Davao and I have been to Magsaysay. Enjoy your stay sorry you don't like Durian but a lot of people doesn't liked these fruit but it's good to try...😊
My introduction to durian was with candies. They were really good. But I couldn't stand the smell of the actual fruit. So I never bothered trying the actual fruit. Until one day, for some reason, I braved and ate some. It wasn't so bad. Then it grew on me. Now, I really love it. Best eaten cold or frozen. Not all durians are the same. Different people have different preferences. I particularly like the "chanee" variety. It's similar to the Musang King you get in Singapore or Malaysia.
