How does it do any of what you are saying if you line up the clutch plate correctly and do the pressure plate bolts/nuts up evenly surly it’s doing the Same job🤔

Quite, it's designed to take the guess work out and minimise the risk of error should one lack the pre requisite skills and or patience. So yes it does what it says it does and assists in the correct and timely fitting of a SAC.

I've started using the tool on cars there is a different in pedal feel it's not so sharp biting point vs not using tool I would 100% use the tool on self adjusting clutch
