Exclusive to V.S. series, you can connect two together and experience the thrill of side-by-side arcade-style gameplay. This was a real winner in my book from Mad Catz.
Attention: A fellow subscriber informed me that I made a mistake in the video. Both art styles were available for PS3 and Xbox 360. Furthermore, the Team MadCatz scratch version came stock with Sanwa silent edition parts.

I clicked the video, and then immediately clicked the like button. Cuz I knew this would be good content.
I really like how all the early Mad Catz fightsticks used the same front panel, it makes it easy to mod any model and you can even replace that front panel PCB with drop-in aftermarket ones. I also like how they used barrier strips, makes it super easy to dual mod.
FYI, the V.S. connector kit can be found on eBay right now for around $34. Probably someone found a stock of them in a warehouse somewhere. I wish that would happen for TE2 bezels/panels!

Nice one. I actually have the Xbox 360 version with the SF X Tekken artwork, completely stock which I take out of the box for a run every now and then. Best fight stick I have ever used and definitely the biggest. Thanks.

Great video man. I love the side by side arcade style fights. There’s just something nostalgic about that way of gaming. That collection of sticks behind you is hands down one of the most epic collection of sticks I think I’ve ever seen. A custom robotron would sure fit in nicely around there. Wish they at least made one with the NOIR layout
The SC5 madcatz TE has a noir layout, so does the Wii U TTT2 stick, both are kinda ugly but they come with the noir layout

The Vewlix layout is okay I just wish there was a bit more space between the stick and the buttons

Finally after more then a year of searching I have completed the trio. Where did you get those custom chrome faceplates and those front versus plates made? I wanna get them. Love your videos but there is some misinformation for the two versions of the stick: the one with the claw marks is the Silent version and it was available for both consoles. Same for the SFxT one, it was also available on both consoles.
Other than that, keep going with the good job!!

It would be cool to use one of those Xin-mo or Juyao 2player encoder boards with this setup. Those boards support PS3/PC and they have inputs for both players on one board with one USB output.

What about the shaft covers? Have you just taken the black ones away or have you put aluminum ones?
Yeah I took the black ones away and replaced the shaft cover with one made for the jlf bare metal shaft (smaller hole)
Where did you get the chrome pieces?.. do you know if any company makes an aluminum replacement?.
Well I got them from tek innovations but they are no longer around :(
Another good one! Keep in mind the TE EZ MOD offered by jasenscustoms.com works great in these and makes updating them to modern consoles super easy :)

@@ScanlineCity - Yup! Any of the Madcatz Sticks with that "Home Area" (TE/SE/VS/TTT2/TES+) are all compatible.

miss these types of sticks today...now days they just slap on a new artwork on the same old stick that's been around for the last 10 years, then call it a "brand new", arcade sticks lack creativity now days, mad catz were very innovative.
