My all time favourite comedian, well him and Billy Connolly 😜 i saw him for the first time last year and he was amazing ⚡ I really don't get the people who don't think he is funny, if you have not seen it watch 41st best comedian ⚡ that is my favourite DVD

This is an old but gold set. Stewart is one of those comedians who reminds me of George Carlin. Everything he says is worth thinking about and is almost more truthful than funny, while being hilarious.
Also both Lee and Carlin’s politics have aged terribly. Remnants of a bygone age.

Stewart Lee is a fantastic comedian, just not to everyone's taste. It doesn't mean anything whether you like it or not. I can't stand the likes of Michael McIntyre's act, but 'comedy fans' that think they can do better should go and try an open mic and get a reality check!
I'll be the the guy in the wrong place having been recommended by the completely out of whack UA-cam algorithm. I really want to love Stewart Lee, I love his delivery and his general candor but I just don't find 90% of his content funny. There, I threw grit in the gears, bring it on! @@barnbersonol ah well, takes all sorts. Strangely, not all comedy can or should be reduced to sexual or scatalogical setup line/punch line “jokes” like yours. There are comedians (I assume from your example, you are not one), that do that very well, Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle spring to mind - if you’ve not heard of them you might check them out, it would definitely improve your material. Criticising Mr Lee for not being like Mr Carr though is a bit like criticising a fish for not being very resilient in desert conditions - perhaps a camel would be a better choice.
