- Falls BARREL RACING alcuni scivoloni e cadute durante gare di Barrel Racing e Pole Bending, durante i campionati 2014 e 2016.
Queste discipline sono assolutamente tra le più adrenaliniche nel mondo dell'equitazione, ma dove c'è velocità, di sicuro c'è anche qualche rischio di fare brutte cadute.
Tutti i Cavalli e Cavalieri nei video delle gare che vi mostriamo non hanno avuto conseguenze e stanno benissimo. - Спорт

Actually if you slow it down you can tell she knows what she's doing. She just got behind her horse, also it looks like he swung his butt in a fashion she wasn't used to. Accidents happen to everyone.

One of my first barrel races I had and accident kinda like that so I guess you are right I just didn’t really think about that

@Sally beavers well duh they have feelings, I barrel race too and my horse runs faster than hell, I almost feel like it slows them down. It just bothers me when you need a whip to race
Soo think of it this way. Lot of people fell but they have a lot more not fall than fall bc they got so many entry’s the ground gets weird after a while even if they drag

the last rider was flung into metal panel rails with NO helmet on to protect her skull, my BIL also was flung into the same thing with no helmet, now he has permanent brain damage, and the whole family now suffers bc of his decision not to wear a helmet. SO preventable!!

The reason the reason why the horses fell is because all the barrel racers are off balance and they whip their horses so hard they kick them so hard
As a rider my self I think, there falling because the ground may not be even or something too do with the futting and two the riders weren’t balanced. I do think some of those riders were wiping them too hard and too much. Ps I know my spelling sucks I have dislexia

I don't hate barrel racing, but honestly, DON'T WHIP THE HORSE SO HARD, IT'S GOING TO FALL JUST LIKE HALF OF THESE CLIPS!!!
I agree with you I love barrel racing but ALOT of times I will see girls coming out of the arena whipping the crap out their horses I just don’t get it. I carry a whip have it on my wrist and use it once coming out that is all it takes. Yea I see this was 4 months ago

As somebody who does barrel race, the reason half of the people in these clips fall is because they push the horse. The horse actually struggles, and it ends up falling. Its the racers fault so your correct.
These happens because some of these people are too big for the horses 🤬

Probably not in this case but I've seen some fat Mofo's riding barrel horses and participating in other speed events and the results are disastrous.
I watched a fat gal who easily topped 275 round a barrel at a pretty good clip on a very large horse. His lead wasn't quite right and both of them went down right into the dirt. I made a couple of online comments about it and the photographer (a woman) crawled me for saying that this gal weighed too much. Fat shaming is so bad....lol. The rider was huge and probably weighed 1/6 of that of the horse. Go figure....but not every one who wants to ride a horse should be permitted to do so,.
What people don't realize is that multiple and conclusive studies have been completed that reveal the weight limits that horses of different sizes can carry and folks would be surprised. Nothing, nothing at all, pisses me off any more than to see some fat 275 lb or larger sob getting on a horse when the rider to horse weight ratio is not correct.
Animal skeleton and musculature are not designed for extensive rider weight and especially in speed events and people who create these competitions should be aware that in some cases they are permitting animal cruelty.
@Sally beavers That's ok Sally. I grew up training horses and I'm anything but a little girl. I've raised colts and trained horses for work on cattle and in shows and I know a little more about it than you. It wasn't always so but we live in a nation of fatties and while our lovely citizens have increased and sometimes more than doubled their ideal weight, the same just ain't so for horses and there are too many 'riders' out there who are far too heavy for their mounts.

Buongiorno, posso assicurare che i cavalli sono tutt'altro che poveri, ci sarebbe da vedere l'amore e la cura che i loro proprietari portano a questi soggetti durante tutto l'anno.
@@Play2Ride Credo che intendesse poveri nel senso che vengono cavalcati da degli i**oti che si preoccupano più della frusta che del come si dovrebbe cavalcare e come condurli nel modo corretto.
Diciamo che il terreno non era perfetto e questo non ha aiutato, ma alcuni sono caduti perché nel frustare il cavallo in modo esagitato si sono scomposti dando un imput sbagliato, penultimo ed ultimo run in particolare.
Io sono contrario all'uso della frustata in generale, l'horsmanship è il metodo migliore per ottenere risultati. Un cavallo che ha piena fiducia nel proprio cavaliere darà sempre il massimo senza bisogno di alcun ausilio.
Alcune delle migliori race barrel professioniste fanno dei temponi senza nemmeno dare un accenno di frusta.

@Sally beavers okay I’m confused are you a 8 year old trying to tell everyone how to ride their horse. There are ALOT of people that wear helmets in riding including a lot of people I know so don’t go trying to tell everyone that we don’t wear helmets. Yes I know this was 3 months ago

@Sally beavers, you are right, english rider mostly don't have repect for their horses either. But i am not an english rider. I think barrel racing just is as damaging to the horses articulations as show jumping is. How old does a barrel racing horse get until it has to be put down?
