Season 5: definitely Seth over Colleen. The dirty cloth mistake combined with his creepy fanboy persona does it for me. Season 12: Mike over Nichole. His whole meal came out of a box. Just as bad of an attitude as Nichole and cost his team a challenge And since we all knew Raj was going to take the Season 8 spot I’d like to mention Melissa as the runner up. She was an absolute train wreck
@@luuduonghy659 I don’t think we can truly count Curtis he did get screwed over with the station he was in as he never really learned how to do sushi well
The way Gordon just instantly zeros in on Kevin in S15 and all but deletes him from existence (he gets no post-booting speech and you only see him packing his bags for a couple seconds in the televised run) has to be the most swift and brutal elimination of the show
the uncensored version cuts out the bag packing as well, so when you're watching the uncensored version, he just leaves, pretty much never to be heard again
Colleen or Miss Manner literally made UA-cam videos trying to flex herself as if she defeated Gordon Ramsey, and she procceded to cut the video where Gordon struck back.
Bad chef but likeable is hard because they usually don’t stay long Good chef but not likeable: Bryant (S13), Elise (S9), Russell (S8), just to name a few
@paradoxvexal I saw a comment where someone was saying Tommy should have stayed over Elise and keep his jacket. I dispise Elise but NO WAY Tommy would have stayed over her as he was complete train wreck the entire season and was only carried by his team
something sad i've always thought of with Gia's elimination, you can see and hear Ramsay's concern when she said she cut her finger off, he immediately asks if she's okay, calls for a medic, and goes to check her for himself, only to discover she didn't even have a papercut. "your TEAM have lost faith in you" was personal 💀
1:35 "He was trying to get me to be better, than I am" While being the first worst chef of the epic series, he was able to understand Gordon's intention behind his aggressiveness, which can't be said about most of the "donkeys" of the series. This is a great video, btw!
Also, he's quitting school for helping his family. That's why he didn't do a good job as a waiter with his poor handwriting even he has to ask Jean-Phillipe. It's really weird how Chef Ramsay asked him twice to be a waiter eventhough he can't write correctly.
Josh's attempt to return to the kitchen only to be rejected by every one of his teammates then immediately pantry-eliminated by Gordon is the coldest moment ever on the show
Colleen may have been the worst chef on her season but don't forget that Gordon did have a level of respect for her. When she was eliminated he said that one thing she had was fight in her which I think was a reason why she made it as far as she did. Gordon respected her drive and her fight that she had.
Yeah. He said something about her strong fighting spirit and that she was one of the most tenacious people he had met. Something that most chefs in season five lacked.
@@pensandshakers No, she made it that far cuz others kept screwing up worse than she did. She was never good, she's utterly obnoxious, and her elimination was LONG overdue.
Out of all the chefs, I kinda feel bad for Salvatore. You can tell he was struggling because of how nervous he was. He has potential imo, and I understand how he feels, especially as someone who used to study culinary arts.
@@Narra0002 Maybe he didn't know he got that nervous easily... Maybe He was confident in an environment similar to this, but GR is terrifying, man. I'd get scared even looking in his direction!
I only disagree with Dewberry being the worst chef in season one because I feel Jeff should have that honor. Guy did nothing but complain and drag his whole team down during service (they even pointed out that they did better after he rage quit). Dewberry also redeemed himself a little during the finale (obviously because of Ralph coaching him up).
@@completerandomness4342 i know that but the original comment was talking about "Joy" in a later season. Who used Jeff's reference. I know Dewberry is a male
Dewberry may have been the least competent chef, but he managed to get both Ramsay and his Sous laugh with one line. "You are a rock, you are Gibraltar." Dewberry: "I'd rather you say I'm Brad Pitts wife."
@@margarethmichelina5146Gibraltar is a place. It is colloquially referred to as "the rock" given that it is, essentially, a big rocky formation coming off of the south of Spain. It is a British territory that historically guards the entrance to the Mediterranean sea as the site of a fortress, extremely difficult to conquer.
I felt bad for Dewberry. When I watched this show for the first time, I knew he wasn't going to last long, and that's not going into his cooking. Just a light-hearted person who seemed to get overwhelmed very easily at the heat of a confrontation. Just wasn't meant to be on the show
dewberry is still cooking, and he runs a small vegan joint. he’s lost a shit ton of weight, and he’s doing very well now. i can’t remember if he is still married or not, but but what i do know is that he did have a wedding shortly after leaving hell’s kitchen. honestly, i respect him as a small cook. he knew that gordon saw something in him, but he couldn’t see that in himself, and he was too polite yet steadfast. for a restaurant like gordon’s, you have got to have some super thick skin and an ability to let shit fall off your back. i think he had some past issues that caused him to bottle up his stresses a lot. so glad to see he’s doing well, though. i loved watching him.
NGL, I quite enjoyed Matt from season 4 just because I found it amusing how bad he was. Also my favorite terrible chef was Salvatore from season 7, just because of his personality and how humble he was. Never blamed his teammates and took his loss gracefully
@@13thKingMu Scott also tried to throw Salvatore under the bus during the liberation. Honestly, Scott and Benjamin turned to be bigger douchebag when they switched to Red Team and they still couldn't lead the Red Team to victory at least once.
@@woobgamer5210 nope. That episode was my favorite one just for how hard he bounced back against Ben. I’ll admit he should have been eliminated the following episode instead of rosann, but it sure was satisfying to see him argue that Ben would tank if Matt was switched to the red kitchen, and that’s just what happened
"Executive Chef" Tavon reminds me of the time I was manager, simply because I was the only member of my department. Also, Salvatore may be the only "bad" chef that is beloved by the audience. He clearly had talent, but confidence issues, and you could see that Gordon saw something in him, treating him like a son.
Watching Gordon eliminating Salvatore despite him in winning team is so heartbreaking but then again, he's not the best chef in Season 7. Let's not forget how Gordon made the same mistakes twice to task him as the waiter even though he can't write correctly due to him quitting school for helping his family.
@@margarethmichelina5146 I don't believe it was a mistake. In order to get the head chef position, you need to surpass yourself and work on your weak points. This was an opportunity for him to redeem himself.
I agree that Salvatore was a terrible chef, debatably the worst of Season 7...I give him a bit of leeway to Scott, because at least Sal knew his shortcomings, owned up to them, and didn't take other people's sections that weren't his. All things Scott can't attest to himself, while making maybe fewer mistakes, but bigger mistakes. He screwed up the meat station three services in a row. (F12 Part 1, F12 Part 2, and F11)
All the more reasons to make him my personal least favorite of the season. I mainly can't stand his arrogance. I legit believe he thought because he worked in fine dining compared to the others that he would easily be the winner.
@@InkAndPoet His attitude was more "this is a coronation, not a competition," and I don't think anyone with that mentality has ever won. Even the seasons where it basically was a coronation, the winners treated it like an actual competition.
@@5PctJuice It's more like Scott viewed as himself as superior to others. He thinks that already being an executive chef gives him a leg up. And yes, like everyone else commented, he blames others for their shortcomings but not himself.

Let’s not forget one of the funniest things to ever come out of season 9, that being the fake dinner service where Chino still managed to mess it up and ruin the fake service 😂
Ideas for future videos: - Worst Team Services (it’s one thing an individual screws up dinner service, but then you have the whole brigade screwup big time) - Best signature dishes (any HK fan knows the worse ones, but I think it’s time we give a shout-out to the best first impressions) - HK Rivalries & Friendships (pretty self explanatory) - HK challenge fails (much like services, there are some really interesting fails on the team challenges, and there’s nothing wrong to showcase them) - HK fan favorites (it’ll be fun to know your favorites for each season, at least a top 10)
Regarding season 7, I'd put Scott over Salvatore as the worst. Dude thought he was way better than he was, and I don't think he had a single good moment all season. And he was even given a fresh start when Ramsay sent him to the red team. But he only lasted two services there before he was sent home. And when it became obvious that he was about to be eliminated, he said that the red team would die without him. Plus who can forget that campaign ad music that played over him whenever he spoke.
With or without him, Season 7 Red Team is still the worst, they never win any single dinner services ever! Even they win, it's only joint winning with Blue Team. It mostly caused by Fran or Siobhan.
@@margarethmichelina5146 Oh they were without a doubt. The truth is nobody was gonna save them. But this wasn't a situation where the red team was so bad that they brought down a new chef who was good, or even decent prior to that. Scott was just bad during his entire time in HK.

What I love about Gordon Ramsey is that he knows his American audience so of course he dials it up to a 10. But he also genuinely wants people to succeed. I always think back to the Master Chef kids where he went down to help a girl who was crying and overwhelmed. I feel like, if you're willing to put in the work, he'd have your back all the way.
Tell you the truth, I felt bad for Kevin. He really wanted to do better and promised that he would and he tried really hard, but it wasn’t enough. He just wasn’t cut out for Hell’s Kitchen.
He had some good moments too, like episode 2 when he did great in the dumpling challenge and was solid throughout service. Seemed like a nice guy, hope he's doing well now.
it never hit me how stupid it was when Jason said he was gonna put sugar on something to make it less sticky I just thought he was bullshitting but he’s actually just really stupid like how do you as a chef not know that melted sugar is sticky
@@margarethmichelina5146 "we are gonna win because we are men here" and then wants to quit because the pressure was too much for him. such a smooth-brained crybaby lmao
That wasn't the stupid part. The stupid part was he was supposed to be doing that from the beginning. A soufflé won't stick if you line the ramekins with butter and sugar first before you add the mixture.
The season 4 scene after hisconversation with Jason gets me every time. "Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk Thunk" all while Jason looks like he wants to cry. He broke Gordon so hard that Gordon couldn't even find the anger to yell.
Gordon banging his head still makes me laugh. Louie was horrible and his elimination is still Hilarious, when he made Gordon's voice crack. Nicole thought she was saved for elimination, until Gordon called her up. Kevin's elimination was Brutal.
15:50 Real instance of Ramsay being considerate as well as badass. What Michael does here (putting a scalding hot pan back on the rack as if it's ready for use again) is the EXACT same thing that caused Heather from Season 2 to get third-degree burns on her hand and have to go to the hospital. I bet he was remembering that same incident and how it nearly took the best chef from that season out of commission when he chewed Michael out for it.

It’s funny how, with Josh on All-Stars, his comment after he got the mid-service chop was something like “if Chef Ramsay would give anyone a third chance, it’d be me!” *Jinkx Monsoon voice* “DELUSION… Convince Yourself…” Seriously, he really turned into the MYLK of Hell’s Kitchen with THAT one!
I don't think Josh from All-stars was the worst. It should have been Elise. She was the one that shouted at everyone causing Nick and Josh to call her a bully. Besides, when Josh went back into the kitchen on the 5th episode, I was hoping that he will redeem himself and I know he belongs in Hell's Kitchen because he's a great guy and has a lot of heart and talent and Chef Ramsay felt the same knowing that Josh should not be leaving so early
Not sure if there’s enough for a full video, but I’d love to see a comp of every time a chef got to keep their jacket/ chefs that won a special place in Ramsay’s heart. I love those wholesome scenes
I like how you don’t include like 75% of first boots just because they were first boots and it would be easy to say they were the worst. It makes for a much more interesting result
Funny how in S16, the blue team was bad in both personality and service wise but who would've thought the worst chef would be from the red team. Even Johnny's like :O
Dewberry had one of my absolute favorite moments from HK, when he was told he was amazing, and he answered "I would rather you call me Brad Pitt's wife" and Gordon laughed his ass off
While I agree that the sample plate from Jeremy was the dumbest mistake ever, the worst and most dangerous mistake was S14 Michael putting a hot pan with the cold pans on a different station
You know, I wonder if Matthew served as partial inspiration for Nicholas Hoult’s character in The Menu: someone who claimed to know a lot about food, yet struggled massively when it came to actually making it. It wouldn’t shock me if Ramsay outright called one of his dishes “Matthew’s Bullsh-t” either.
Also, Matthew was working on Buzzfeed on Tasty channel. And his job is Food Vlogger, where they only shot his hands most of the time. Also, when Chef Ramsay yelled at him is like a huge slap of reality from him that once a professional told you the truth, you're screwed. I wonder if that guy is still working at Buzzfeed.
I’m surprised that you didn’t consider Monique for season 14 I believe that her season had the first instance of a team rigging the nominations to ensure that a certain teammate gets sent home
@@ninedaysjane2466 I agree. They targeted her. She was from Philly, being bullied like her, means defense and eventual retaliation! She stood her ground and cleverly chose to be quite considerate in her revenge, Barbie washed dishes while her team tried to sleep! Her foot stomps were exclamation points!! The Big Payback. Then she earned a Black Jacket to boot! Clearly not the worse. Imo, Barbie was misunderstood and none of them attempted to truly get to know her.
Season 1: Jeff (Had 1 good moment that entire season and terrible attitude) Season 2: Tom Season 3: Vinnie Season 4: Jason Season 5: Seth (Seth and Colleen are very close for me) Season 6: Louis Season 7: Fran (At least Salvatore is likeable compared to Fran) Season 8: Do I need to say who? Season 9: Brendan (Full of himself, lied to chef, and wasn't that good) Season 10: Chris (Shitty cook and Sexist) Season 11: Gina (Fucked up service, blamed her team for her fuck ups, and gave up before the second challenge) Season 12: Nicole Season 13: Denine Season 14: Micheal Season 15: Meese (it was close between her and Kevin) Season 16: Gia (lots of people might say Jessica but she actually had quite a few good moments that season) Season 17: Josh Season 18: Scott Season 19: Elliot Season 20: Matthew Season 21: Nicole (Thought she would be a bounce back chef but she quickly proved me wrong) Season 22: Quiddich boy obviously.
Speaking of Meese, I remember when she threw a lot of *Perfectly* cooked Wellingtons to the trash because she wasn't sure if it's cooked or not. That is so dumb. She could just ask her teammates.
@lerx_mex7601 I understand that, but I rather have a shit chef with a good personality than a shit chef with a shit personality. Salvatores the former, Fran is the Latter
Hell's Kitchen is always weird for me. Like, on the one hand, it makes me want to jump back into being a cook because I'm like, "I can do better than these guys" and I miss the healthy chaos and teamwork you feel while cooking. Then I remember the stress and nasty chaos and Dewberry just laying on that hammock with a cigarette and not missing that feeling at all.
How are you gonna mention dewberry without bringing up the funniest clip hes ever produced? "Id rather you be saying i was brad pitt's wife" always funny
Salvatore wasn't the worst in Season 7. He was not very good, but after he struggled to name the desserts, he came back and had a flawless performance on meat. Mikey was far worse, literally taking almost an hour to make one risotto, and when it got served, it turned out it was raw.
Mikey wasn't that bad either. He had some good moments, all though he messed up that night. On the night when Andrew left, Mikey should not have been eliminated.
For season 6, I agree that Louie was terrible, but I do think he was only the second worst chef that season. As for the worst one, he can speak for himself but he knows who he is.
Joseph is actually a decent cook for the first 2 episodes, even he was confused of Louie's stupidity for cooking garnish while he's on meat station. And even commented of how Andy didn't use his meat thermometer correctly even on his wrist. It should be Lovely because my God, she is so useless from beginning like how she made deserts before the kitchen was opened and abandoning her team by drinking for 45 minutes! She's even useless as a waiter even Dave who at that time just got broken arm works better than her. She's even immediately go back to the line when Tennile got called by Ramsay even though you supposed to stay because he could eliminate her too which is considerably rude.
Well done for thinking outside the box, it would be easy to put the first boot as the worst on pretty much all these seasons and on some you’ve picked i think the first boot should’ve been there but this is more interesting
I would probably start crying if I ever went on this show. I’m horrible under pressure and have pretty bad anxiety because of it. I’m not a chef, but I like to take time to make the food that I do cook. I love and respect Gordon Ramsey a lot, but I’m honestly scared of him. Good on you for keeping people in line, but I don’t think you’ll ever see me on your kitchen respectfully.
Yeah it's not a job most people can handle, nothing wrong with that, I could never do it,but we wouldn't try to get on the show like some of these idiots lol
What cracks me up is how with 14 Michael, as opposed to how often sous chefs are aggresive snd shouty whenever a contestant fucks up (especially Scott) James just casually patronizes him for doing the most inexplicable thing I've ever seen. It fits bc that's BEYOND something you can fix by yelling; that's fucking alien
Josh and Ashley definetly losing their energies on that All Star seasons. What I heard about Ashley is during the All Star season, her grandpa passed away but she couldn't break the contract of the show. So that's why she looked unfocused and in the premiere of the season she's even giving some trivia to the chefs from previous seasons. Also, her eyes look sad behind that smiles.
I'm impressed that you only chose 3 first boots for this. Though I may have included Steven from season 9. That being said, it might have been a fun challenge if you made a rule not to choose the first boot of the season. You wouldn't have missed much as Melinda in season 6 and Jen in season 18 are great substitutes. From season 10 Chris and Don were bad but I think that Royce was the biggest clown outside of Tavon.
Royce is annoyed his teammate very much just because he's so cocky for working to Ralph, runner up Season One even he got a personal phone call from Ralph himself to wake up. But still he's not good enough to be the good chef of Season 10 Blue Team as the only good chef as the only good chef on that team is Justin: -Clemenza mostly sucks at fish station. Also, he's Italian but he sucks at making pizza and ironically got eliminated at Italian night. -Brian doesn't take the competition seriously as he mostly just joking around and also, horny -Royce is too arrogant but he sucks -Guy is decent but he's still not good enough -Patrick is not ready to be a leader -Chris is getting frazzled -Don is the Raj of the season -Aaandd there's Tavon the fraud who called himself executive chef at 22 years old, the biggest lie on Hell's Kitchen history along with Colleen the so-called Culinary Instructor who is not a train chef herself but has a cooking school

I might be alone here but I kind of like Colleen. Yeah she was terrible but every time she would deliver something to the pass, I couldn't help but hope she'd get it right because she just kept trying and didn't rage or break down. Also, she had such a positive attitude when she got eliminated and actually seemed to enjoy her experience.
What baffles me, is they often do a service challenge on Master Chef Junior and those kids did a much better job than a majority of these “professional” chef adults.
That's because it's so obviously staged lol. Do you really think 10 year olds can survive 5 mins in a professional kitchen ? 😂 If you wanna watch a realistic show about kids in the kitchen, I'd suggest bake off junior.
I do remember where S3 winner Rock Harper, was a guest in a radio show with less than 20 listeners, where he said that Gordon sometimes chose the contestants for their qualities as a potential chef, and other times the producers would chose the contestants for what they can potentially add to the show. Or at least something around those lines. in fact, you can see Rock Harper himself exactly at 2:42
Just started and already know Raj is featured 😂 Also, I get what you mean about Salvatore not doing well but I would put Scott on there instead. The definition of “all talk and no walk”. The way he treated others and always spoke like he was interviewing for a job was ridiculous.
@@luuduonghy659 yeah. Mikey really struggled his short stay but had decent signature dish and I thought had better attitude than Scott. Fran also sucked but had one or two ok showings in the challenges and that decent service on the appetizers. I think Jaime is a forgotten chef that had really poor showing throughout her stay. She served her signature dish with toothpick still in it. She burned mashed potatos and carrots. She sounded bored the entire time she was there. Goodness, Season 7 really did suck.
I would love to see a video on each worst contestant from each Hell's Kitchen season, it doesn't have to be if they are a good or bad chef, I mean personality wise since we know Elise would make the video twice mainly due to how she blames everyone else whilst making herself out to be the only great contestant, don't get me started on how she told the two finalists of Season 9 to eliminate Jennifer instead of Elise. But yeah a video with every worst contestant will definitely be fun to see

I love the satisfying elimination on matthew which I already watched it in netflix and I agreed to him as the worst chef in season 20, serving shrimp uncleaned, serving raw chicken in alcohol challenge, using meat thermometer on chicken and serving raw lamb is unacceptable. I watched that season from 17-21 in netflix with all raw and uncensored over the Fox version which is censored
It's easy for people to judge them on how they cook on a reality show but when you have a guy yelling at you all night and day you'll screw up, especially with how much editing and all that is done to make certain people look a certain way
I agree. Add to it, living with some rude conniving people. That means you can never step away to refocus thoroughly. That's what makes this far different and worse than simply working with people you can't get along with.
It's already a high intensive environment, having to get everything cooked and plated for customers in real time but the screaming and yelling doesn't help. Hells Kitchen definitely rewards tenacity or steadfastness bc talent's nothing if Gordon can make you second guess every single thing you do
... it's to see if they can handle being a head chef you idiots. It's worse than this you know. If they can't handle stress and can't cook, then they shouldn't uphold the kitchen. Simple my god. I have lived with awful families and friends and I can still cook, dipshit.
Chef James' sass toward Michael will always be one of my favourite moments from him "Hey Michael, doesn't it strike you as _ODD_ that you're the _ONLY_ one up here right now?"
The first person seemed so nice and I feel so bad for them. I would give them a hug if I could. Easily one of the chefs you could feel most sympathetic to.
If we had Season 22 before this was shown, I think Tad would easily make this list. Even more so as much like Louie of Season 6, Tavon of Season 10, Scott of Season 18, and Matthew of Season 20, he was everything you'd expect from a Hell's Kitchen First Boot.
One thing that was not mentioned about Chino, he blamed Natalie for his mistakes when she was trying to help him. Natalie was one of the best chefs from S9, and the blue team made her feel like one of them.
I love hk, and Kevin's S15 elimination stands to me as the single most brutal elimination ever. It wasn't flashy, it wasn't drawn out. Like dude literally got pulled in to get yelled at with his team, but got booted before they even got yelled at. Basically told, "You're not salvageable," in front of everyone, and even in the edit he's an immediate after thought. Really just shook me jow brutal it was.
Do you agree with my pics? Which ones do you disagree with?
Most of these I agree with. The only ones I disagree with are Dewberry and Michael. I'd replace Dewberry with Jeff and Michael with Monique.

Season 5: definitely Seth over Colleen. The dirty cloth mistake combined with his creepy fanboy persona does it for me.
Season 12: Mike over Nichole. His whole meal came out of a box. Just as bad of an attitude as Nichole and cost his team a challenge

Colleen may have been the worst chef on her season but don't forget that Gordon did have a level of respect for her. When she was eliminated he said that one thing she had was fight in her which I think was a reason why she made it as far as she did. Gordon respected her drive and her fight that she had.

I only disagree with Dewberry being the worst chef in season one because I feel Jeff should have that honor. Guy did nothing but complain and drag his whole team down during service (they even pointed out that they did better after he rage quit). I felt bad for Dewberry. When I watched this show for the first time, I knew he wasn't going to last long, and that's not going into his cooking. Just a light-hearted person who seemed to get overwhelmed very easily at the heat of a confrontation. Just wasn't meant to be on the show

honestly, i respect him as a small cook. he knew that gordon saw something in him, but he couldn’t see that in himself, and he was too polite yet steadfast. for a restaurant like gordon’s, you have got to have some super thick skin and an ability to let shit fall off your back. i think he had some past issues that caused him to bottle up his stresses a lot.

NGL, I quite enjoyed Matt from season 4 just because I found it amusing how bad he was. Also my favorite terrible chef was Salvatore from season 7, just because of his personality and how humble he was. Never blamed his teammates and took his loss gracefully
I honestly thought Scott was worse than Salvatore
@@PastingKing Scott was fine when he was blue team but suddenly terrible after he switch to red team

Salvatore is a sweetheart
Watching Gordon eliminating Salvatore despite him in winning team is so heartbreaking but then again, he's not the best chef in Season 7. Let's not forget how Gordon made the same mistakes twice to task him as the waiter even though he can't write correctly due to him quitting school for helping his family.
@@margarethmichelina5146 I don't believe it was a mistake. In order to get the head chef position, you need to surpass yourself and work on your weak points. This was an opportunity for him to redeem himself.
I think that Jay from that season worked with Salvatore after the show at one point.
"Salvatore... It's Italian... Yes, f*cking panna cotta, porco Dio" is my favourite Ramsay quote ever
From season 1-12 Gordon was at his prime for being a raging beast. Every time he yelled at someone, it was completely intense and savage.
After that, he is not as young as before and he is less yelled than before(Even he does, it is not as big as before)
I agree that Salvatore was a terrible chef, debatably the worst of Season 7...I give him a bit of leeway to Scott, because at least Sal knew his shortcomings, owned up to them, and didn't take other people's sections that weren't his. All things Scott can't attest to himself, while making maybe fewer mistakes, but bigger mistakes. He screwed up the meat station three services in a row. (F12 Part 1, F12 Part 2, and F11)
Yeah, I think Scott narrowly takes that for me. Part of being good is admitting your mistakes.

“There was no place in the kitchen where I can put Colleen where she wasn’t a disaster. It’s time for her to go back where she belongs, teaching, because she certainly can’t cook.”
“Salvatore had a big heart. Too bad he couldn’t cook with it.”
“When the going gets tough in the kitchen, a chef puts his head down and cooks. All Raj wanted to do was put his head in the freezer and that’s why his stay in Hell’s Kitchen was a short one.”

“Matthew may be considered a chef on the Internet, but unfortunately, I had to taste his food and that’s why I had to block him from the competition.”
Let’s not forget one of the funniest things to ever come out of season 9, that being the fake dinner service where Chino still managed to mess it up and ruin the fake service 😂
Ok honestly when dewberry said “he was trying to get me to be better than I am evidently” that was pretty heart wrenching

The fact the red team in 12 did not nominate Nicole is baffling. She was abysmal.

Don't forget Sabrina Season 8 also got Black Jacket and she was also 22 with crocodile tears and manipulation.
Michelle was great during her two season run, but in S17 Ben, Nick and maybe Milly were way better than her.
@@AlessandroChiarelli on that we can agree. Nick should have won.
Or at least Benjamin
Hell's Kitchen is always weird for me. Like, on the one hand, it makes me want to jump back into being a cook because I'm like, "I can do better than these guys" and I miss the healthy chaos and teamwork you feel while cooking. Then I remember the stress and nasty chaos and Dewberry just laying on that hammock with a cigarette and not missing that feeling at all.
How are you gonna mention dewberry without bringing up the funniest clip hes ever produced? "Id rather you be saying i was brad pitt's wife" always funny
If this was about personality, Elise would have definitely made it on here TWICE.
@@chriss1748 Mikey had good moments in challenges, both of his services were worthless
@@zachbernheisel2239 Yeah but he did work hard, besides He shouldn't leave so early because Andrew already left
@@chriss1748 That's honestly a fair point. FWIW, Mikey seemed like a nice guy and it would have been nice to see a little more of him.
@@chriss1748 Mikey did deserve to go when he did.
For season 6, I agree that Louie was terrible, but I do think he was only the second worst chef that season. As for the worst one, he can speak for himself but he knows who he is.
😹😹😹
This is base of cooking wise not personalities
@@lerx_mex7601that’s true, Joseph was a decent chef, never got nominated
I love when cooking instructors especially those high-end ones are on the show as you can really hear Gordon’s distain for their profession
When Gordon’s hitting his head, Scott is just acting normally. Scott must be used to this kinda stuff
Not a Flynn Masters video if he doesn’t mention that Season 8 is the least talented group of chefs
I think season 7 had the least talented cast in the show’s history.
If he ever needs a new series, Masterchef would be a great addition.
I do kinda feel bad for Josh in all stars, yeah he had bad performances, but you can tell he was a nice guy, and just wanted to prove himself.
I have a soft spot for Josh.
Do yourself a favor- pretend Josh is a woman. Knowing this fanbase's track record I bet you'll be enraged now
@@ashen_rosesnah, it’s not a gender thing, he was just a genuinely nice guy, ask yourself this, would you be ok with Elise if she was male?
I'm impressed that you only chose 3 first boots for this. Though I may have included Steven from season 9. That being said, it might have been a fun challenge if you made a rule not to choose the first boot of the season. You wouldn't have missed much as Melinda in season 6 and Jen in season 18 are great substitutes. From season 10 Chris and Don were bad but I think that Royce was the biggest clown outside of Tavon.
Royce is annoyed his teammate very much just because he's so cocky for working to Ralph, runner up Season One even he got a personal phone call from Ralph himself to wake up. But still he's not good enough to be the good chef of Season 10 Blue Team as the only good chef as the only good chef on that team is Justin:
-Clemenza mostly sucks at fish station. Also, he's Italian but he sucks at making pizza and ironically got eliminated at Italian night.
-Brian doesn't take the competition seriously as he mostly just joking around and also, horny
-Royce is too arrogant but he sucks
-Guy is decent but he's still not good enough
-Patrick is not ready to be a leader
-Chris is getting frazzled
-Don is the Raj of the season
-Aaandd there's Tavon the fraud who called himself executive chef at 22 years old, the biggest lie on Hell's Kitchen history along with Colleen the so-called Culinary Instructor who is not a train chef herself but has a cooking school
I’ll always remember Oshay as being the guy who put orange soda in his greens. The ancestors are STILL rolling over in their graves!
Definitely! I forgot about that.
@@seanswinton6242 I wanna say he did it with mashed potatoes too. “Who loves orange soda??” head ass 🤣
Each chef's elimination quotes:
S1 - "I'm looking for someone who can weather the storm, inspire individuals, stand as a great leader. That, clearly, is not Dewberry."
S2 - "Tom's got a big heart. Sadly, he's a really crap cook. Why on earth he's ever decided to attempt to become a chef? I'll never know."
S3 - "Vinnie talks the talk, but he doesn't walk the walk. The bottom line with Vinnie is, he's a crap cook."
S4 - "I kept waiting for Jason to show me some energy, to wake up, but he never did. And that's why I'm putting him to sleep."
S5 - "There was no place in the kitchen I could put Colleen where she wasn't a disaster. It's time for her to go back to where she belongs: teaching, because she certainly can't cook."
S6 - (no comment) - Louie
S7 - "Salvatore had a big heart. Too bad he couldn't cook with it."
S8 - "When the going gets tough in the kitchen, a chef puts his head down and cooks. All Raj wanted to do was put his head in the freezer, and that's why his stay in Hell's Kitchen was a short one."
S9 - "Chino took his time in Hell's Kitchen very seriously. The problem is, he seriously couldn't cook."
S10 - "Tavon may be an executive chef at 22, but he did little to impress me in his short stay in Hell's Kitchen."
S11 - (no comment) - Jeremy
S12 - "I'm not looking for a line cook. But if I were, I still wouldn't have hired Nicole. She was useless."
S13 - (no comment) - Denine
S14 - "Fortunately for Michael, he can go back to his job at the senior center. Unfortunately for his residents, it's as the chef."
S15 - (no comment) - Kevin
S16 - "I gave Gia a second chance, which proved to be two chances too many. See you, Gia."
S17 - (no comment) - Josh (S14)
S18 - “Scott remembers working with some of the biggest named chefs in the world. But whether they would remember him is another matter entirely. I know I won't remember him by tomorrow.”
S19 - "Eliminating a chef this early is usually quite hard. But tonight, I didn't have to eliminate a chef, I had to eliminate Eliott."
S20 - "Matthew may be considered a chef on the Internet, but unfortunately, I had to taste his food, and that's why I had to block him from the competition."
S21 - "Some evictions are harder than others. This was an easy one. Goodbye, O'Shay."
(Edit: I added the names of the chefs who didn't receive comments.)
S9: "Oh...piss off, Chino!"
So Jeff quit, but Dewberry almost quitting did it for you?
I might be alone here but I kind of like Colleen. Yeah she was terrible but every time she would deliver something to the pass, I couldn't help but hope she'd get it right because she just kept trying and didn't rage or break down. Also, she had such a positive attitude when she got eliminated and actually seemed to enjoy her experience.
IIRC even Gordon complimented her on her tenacity after she was eliminated.
I liked her as a person. She was absolutely useless, though especially since she owned a cooking school.
@@rebeccamcdermott9259 I hope she just owned the cooking school, not cooked in it. Ownership can be separate.
She's a narcissistic ass who literally went out of her way to look better by editing videos
You're mentally damaged lol
BONUS COMMENT: “Josh had great passion and a strong service tonight. Unfortunately, it was too little too late.”
Jeremy from Season 11 always looked like he was going to cry.
Saw the title instantly knew Raj was gonna be on the list for the season 8 contestant as the worst contestant
New show idea: Gordon picks random people off the street and trains them to be chefs. He would LOSE IT😂
Raj is the type of person who would open a window for fresh air on a submarine. 😂😅
15:53 ngl it feels weird to hear Gordom talks calmly like that
What baffles me, is they often do a service challenge on Master Chef Junior and those kids did a much better job than a majority of these “professional” chef adults.
Masterful editing can make anyone look good/bad
That's because it's so obviously staged lol. Do you really think 10 year olds can survive 5 mins in a professional kitchen ? 😂 If you wanna watch a realistic show about kids in the kitchen, I'd suggest bake off junior.
@@jojojo89517🤡🤡
I do remember where S3 winner Rock Harper, was a guest in a radio show with less than 20 listeners, where he said that Gordon sometimes chose the contestants for their qualities as a potential chef, and other times the producers would chose the contestants for what they can potentially add to the show. Or at least something around those lines.
in fact, you can see Rock Harper himself exactly at 2:42
Weird troll you did here
James may not have had the same fiery outbursts as Scott but he had a certain sas to him ,him going to Micheal like a disappointed dad is hilarious
James was really patient with Michael and his ineptitude.
“I cut my finger off” followed by “I’m squeezing it it won’t bleed” is outrageous 😭
Just started and already know Raj is featured 😂
Also, I get what you mean about Salvatore not doing well but I would put Scott on there instead. The definition of “all talk and no walk”. The way he treated others and always spoke like he was interviewing for a job was ridiculous.
Yeah
Mikey and Fran also a disaster
@@luuduonghy659 yeah. Mikey really struggled his short stay but had decent signature dish and I thought had better attitude than Scott. Fran also sucked but had one or two ok showings in the challenges and that decent service on the appetizers. I think Jaime is a forgotten chef that had really poor showing throughout her stay. She served her signature dish with toothpick still in it. She burned mashed potatos and carrots. She sounded bored the entire time she was there. Goodness, Season 7 really did suck.
@@skinnyelephant7752IMO, Season 7 only had a couple of decent chefs in the final 6 and (maybe) Nilka. Everyone else was shite.

@@likedoom9850 I'm sure it'll come out in 20 years

Michael going up for lunch is somehow the funniest thing but it somehow makes me feel bad for him
From the Guido Mista school of "Lunch time is for lunch," except he doesn't have a hungry Stand to warrant it.
I love the videos with your opinion in them, you should definitely do more
Thanks!!
But yeah a video with every worst contestant will definitely be fun to see
Yeah, I might make a similar type of "each season" video like this in the future when it comes to topics such as iconic villains, heroes, best moments, etc.

18:05 im sorry she lied about her what? I have listened to this like 5 times and im no closer to having a clue what this guy said
She lied about cutting her finger off during service
I love the subtitles... "You two, get out!", becomes "UA-cam, 10 hours!" xD
Dewberry saying I'd rather be Brad Pitt's wife was hilarious.
Chef James' sass toward Michael will always be one of my favourite moments from him
"Hey Michael, doesn't it strike you as _ODD_ that you're the _ONLY_ one up here right now?"
Hey Flynn a cool idea for a video would be every opening night service ranked from best to worst.
Prob do that when season the 22 premiere rolls around!
@FlynnMasters any idea when the season 22 premiere is suppose to air?
3:00 thats not vinnie, thats footage that ive never seen of JR, the mysterious 13th chef in season 3.
The first person seemed so nice and I feel so bad for them.
I would give them a hug if I could. Easily one of the chefs you could feel most sympathetic to.
20:46 I couldn’t help but point out how hyped this man looks to hear Gordon Ramsay yell at the contestants right next to him
1:58 Sweating into the food the person is cooking should be instantly thrown in the dumpster, gross
Chino was an arrogant shithead with a large, but fragile ego. He was completely useless at EVERY turn, bro.
How could you put Raj as the worst chef?? Raj was an excellent poissonier who had cooked THOUSANDS of pieces of salmon. He’s the true winner.
Haha
Also Antonia and Curtis also a disaster
Gordon banging his head on the counter has to be a top 10 moment of the show
