Fun lil combo - Goblin Recruiter to stack Conspicuous Snoop then Kiki-Jiki on top of your deck, play Snoop next turn, use the Snoop/Kiki-Jiki's ability to copy itself, make infinite tapped goblins
I personally looooove Auntie and I've run her for my Goblin Tribal since I first started EDH. Technically speaking, the little "goblins" at her side are Kithkin children she's abducted. Lorwyn was weird. :D
Wort Boggart Auntie can grab any goblin card from a graveyard. This lets her grab goblin tribal cards like Fodder Launch to be reused every turn. Kill your opponents by flinging poo every turn.... brilliant
The thing I dislike about goblins and merfolk are how much synergy they have that other popular tribes don't have, Knights, Vampires, Dragons, Soldiers, demons, angels, these are some of the most beloved tribes, but they don't get anywhere near the same synergy and viability. (My favorite, Angels, have extremely little in terms of synergy, and due to almost all angels being 4+ mana, they are a very difficult tribe to make viable.) I just don't know why goblins and merfolk get such insane synergy with such low mana cost when other popular tribes get so little.
Because the strength of the goblins come from numbers instead of individual strength (notice how weak they are compared to other creature types) that’s why they need effects that activate for playing as a group which is their real strength.
Idk who won the votes but I'm here to say if you're gonna lose 100% you go for the tie. It's just good sportsmanship to give it your all, if my opponent held back a board wipe, an otk, or even just passing bc they know they're gonna lose. I see the argument for boardwipes aren't fun. But, it's fun to wipe boards right? Those are my thoughts Thanks for making this video, I'm excited to try my new and improved Krenko deck after watching this.
My God guys! I had to pause the video just so I could comment: that's how good this is. You guys ARE goblins during this video! You become goblins somehow! About halfway through the video, you start finishing each other's sentences and every one of them is a run-on sentence. It's FUCKING BRILLIANT! And when you two abruptly say, "trashman" in unison? It's almost like your ears and nose start growing while your skin starts turning green. You knocked it out of the park, gentlemen!
Can't tell if you guys were being sarcastic about Shattergang Brothers. Disliked? Maybe. Bad? I disagree. Recurring removal, if you get 3 sacs that's 1 mana and .3 tokens per removal. Plus death triggers.
Goblins are a great magic tribe, with the identity of swarms and humour. few problems can't be solved by throwing rocks at them. And that's why causing a tie game with the marshal is "ending it the goblin way". My goblin commander is Grenzo, Dungeon Warden Playing the random bottom flip creates a lot of fun variance Goblin Sharpshooter is really good too
I love Skirk Fire Marshal. I've tied with him before and it was awesome. I activated his ability like four times and completely wiped out everyone and I just did it for fun, wasn't even about to loose. So I vote for Cherries.
I think you guys should do giant tribal. It’s one of the Lorwyn tribes and is hasn’t been given that much love outside of some cards in Eldraine. Would be interesting to see what you guys would do.
Wort, boggart auntie is the best goblin! You combine her with a search goblin such as Goblin matron or boggart harbinger, and a sac outlet, (such as goblin chirurgeon, that can regenerate your goblins you want to keep) all of a sudden you have a goblin Swiss army knife that can pull out what ever goblin you need for each of your turns. I would argue as a goblin player that wort is even better as Krenko Mob boss.
Goblins can be so much more, then make a bunch of goblins and swing in.... (also, check out sensation gorger, at the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your deck, if its a goblin, ALL players discard their hand and draw 4. You play out your hand so fast, you dont care about the discard, and your opponents can get stuck discarding most of their good cards, then also combine Goblin sharpshooter with basilisk collar, or anything else that gives death touch. Sharpshooter only untaps when a creature dies, and can tap to deal 1 damage to a creature. With death touch, its a one sided board wipe.)
Not only were your UA-cam shorts a big reason I got vack into magic after finding them by accident but this video is helping me get my girlfriend into magic, she's a huge goblin fan!!
Sphinxes and zombies would be amazing! Definitely my personal favorites, but maybe a bit large to tackle. You could do an entire camel tribal video in a minute!
MY goblin horde deck has Goblin War Strike, Horde of Boggarts and Reckless One in it. Didn't see them mentioned but when Krenko has cranked out 30 goblins or so,...
Goblins are very close to my heart. One of my first standard decks was goblins, and Krenko is one of my favorite commanders. As far as tying/"Kingmaking", I personally have no problem with using your last death throes to try and cripple the person who knocks you out. If you're about to die, it makes sense to try and set back the person who kills you as much as possible, especially if they're in the most commanding position. If I had to choose between just rolling over and accepting a death or using everything at my disposal to help balance the game or take revenge on the person *taking me out of the game*, I'm picking the latter every time. If you're prepared to take someone out of the game, you should be prepared to be seen as a threat by the other players and to try and protect yourself.
One of my favorite things to do is goblin recruiter stack the top 11 with muxus, you choose 5(have conspicuous snoop and skirk prospector to continue to stack the deck further then 11), goblin ringleader, you choose 4 and if you got goblin lackey down turn 1 and recruiter turn 2 games over turn 3 or 4 O how young I was a year ago 2 mountains Lackey muxus and Recruiter wins turn 2
I use goblin matron to grab goblin recruiter, then use goblin recruiter to grab Muxus Goblin Grandee, stack my deck to have siege gang commander, beetleback chief, skirk prospector, goblin chirurgeon, hobgoblin bandit lord, and then my final goblin would be ringleader from the Muxus effect, triggering revealing 4 top cards(all goblins) (totalling 12 goblins onto my field in one turn) then tap krenko, make 16 more goblins, then use bandit lord to kill someone. I have my next 4 stacked to be goblin sledder, goblin chieftain, goblin warlord, and pashalik mons. I run Krenko as my commander. or sometimes I like to switch it up, and use Muxus as my commander, and just bounce until I either get krenko, or can tutor Krenko in. Devilish Valet (while not a goblin) is also a beast in a goblin deck, because he has haste and trample, power doubles whenever a creature enters the battlefield, bringing 6 goblins into the field in one turn is enough to make him a 64 / 3. If you know Krenko though, you know you're making at least 20 goblins, so he would be 1,048,576 / 3 with haste and trample.
Well i would argue that Grenzo dungeon warden is a great gobllin two color commander... he can basicly empty your deck with mana echoes turn 4 or 5. that said where's Lightning crafter, him kiki-jiki, a whatever goblin and a sack outlet gives infininte lightning bolts. Goblin Sharpshooter is another missiing goblin, deals tons of damage when sacking other goblins.
I'm here after muxus and snoop Also, you forgot zada, the goblin mono red storm commander! I got a zada storm, a wort X-spells and now i'm building a jund all combos goblins, waiting for a decent goblin jund commander, hehehe
Battle squadron it's a ☆☆ for two reds and of any it power and toughness is equal to the number of creatures on the battle field and has flying. And rentlees assault
Absolutely take everything out with you. Your opponents need to see you as a threat. If they know you will just explode your board on your way out and take them with you it will make them hesitant to kill you. It’s a deterrent.
I have to disagree about Auntie, you can do some nutty stuff with her, albeit she isn't as outwardly powerful as Krenko but she can insulate you from wrath's and splashing black gives you some great utility.
@@NitpickingNerds I guess it depends on your group and how you do it. If it's out of spite of salt I can see it rubbing someone the wrong way. I was in my nekusar deck, and another player had psychosis crawler out that killed me. After we shuffled up, I was targeted in the next game, which is tragic cause the same board manifested again and I was taken out by exactsies, with windfall in hand. Oh that was a fun night. Nitpicking Nerds really?? I’ve been thinking about a bird deck but am new to magic! If you guys could make a video on it I think it would be really cool to show a unique deck idea
Tying a game is a funny, kinda dick way to end a game, but if the game has been dragging on long enough, I don’t see a problem with it. Overall, I’d say just accept the loss and see who would have actually won though - I think that makes for a better ending most of the time
You are completely wrong about shatter gang brothers. You are not using them as a sack outlet. You are using them to force opponents into Sacking their good things. I got rid of my SGB deck because they drew so much hate when my opponents figured out what they did
It’s hard to believe that Wizards loved this video so much that they built a time machine and named Goblin Guide after it.

Tying a game is a funny, kinda dick way to end a game, but if the game has been dragging on long enough, I don’t see a problem with it. Overall, I’d say just accept the loss and see who would have actually won though - I think that makes for a better ending most of the time
Gonna go ahead and round that answer up to a point for me -Beezy
Goblin warrens should be on the list
If you definitely can’t win, then steal the tie.
Wow so many Joe votes it's crazy

I'd go for the tie. Might as well burn down the world if you get the chance.
Damn our comments section is coooold
You are completely wrong about shatter gang brothers. You are not using them as a sack outlet. You are using them to force opponents into Sacking their good things.
I got rid of my SGB deck because they drew so much hate when my opponents figured out what they did
Instead of Loosing i would take the Tie
