Technically true, but if a Hawkeye is against certain flankers without movement ability or sword (or they used it and are still getting harassed i.e iron fist blocked it or Magik teleported) they may not be able to get to a health pack in time. Yes, health packs exist and are great, but the team still needs to peel for the backline. Which, among the healers, the Hawkeye is probably there.
@@sselesUneeuQ You’re talking about specific scenarios and under those circumstances of course getting to a health pack would probably be more difficult. I’m not talking about those times. I’m talking about the ones that don’t have those things happening to them but will spam for the “need healing” icon 100x instead of just going to find a health pack. More times than not DPS be right next to them on the field and they just refuse to use them because they think their support is supposed to be locked onto and healing them the entire game.
@mamamia5905 I'll be honest with you, I'm fairly certain I've almost never been directly on top of or next to a health pack in the middle of a group fight. Maybe you can count it if a whole building was destroyed, like in Tokyo 2nd point. In that example, it feels closer because there is no obstruction. What scenarios do you mean? Whenever I play as support, the most difficult scenarios seem to be the team splitting apart or certain dps trying to play high grounds no one else can reach. Keep in mind, my perspective is a player who doesn't nothing but competitive in top 6%. My only experience with qp is either queuing full stacks or getting 6 dps.

It’s like some get so caught up in the moment of trying to get a kill that they think it’s impossible to disengage and find healing to stay in the fight. Or like how you said when you play support and the team is split up..how often do you see your DPS go for their own healing or do they come all the way back to you after passing health packs? Even on some high grounds there are health packs in the rooms. I guess my biggest problem with this is that some players are not aware of the map and can’t adapt to certain situations when certain things are not going their way.

If someone does complain, usually it's halfway through the match or near the end when someone speaks in voice chat about "God these heals are dogshit" and then the game ends and the leaderboard usually disagrees.
