it's the same procedure. Just replace the panel and sound and you're good.
I did but nothing worked. I specially watched this video ca 5-6 times and nothing. I hope you are generous and post the video of this aircraft download tutorial :)
tipptund3 the reason it doesn't work is because the readme.txt file says it's only for FS2002. Just like the compatibility between FS10 and FS9, the same applies to FS9 and FS2002.

It's even simpler than that:
Copy the folder for the desired aircraft from Local Disk/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft
Paste the folder for the desired aircraft into Local Disk/Program Files/(x86)/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes (or /Rotorcraft, if you're moving a helicopter or autogyro).
Copy-paste all of the gauges from FS2004. These can be found in Local Disk/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Gauges. Replace any duplicate files.
Assign a thumbnail image to each texture file. Any JPEG image less than 256x128 will do. You can choose any old JPEG file, or you can use a screenshot from the sim that has been converted to JPEG format.

I finally moved over from FS9 to FSX SE and doing this will save me ALOT of time. Ive been using FS9 since 2004 and made the switch just this month (june 2017). Il still keep FS9 for other things but FSX will be my main sim now. I have HUNDREDS of aircraft to move over and dont really feel like doing all that work again. Il just have to make new panels but that wont be to big a deal. Im more concerned about my soundpacks from TSS.

I got a question, Similar to this, is it fine to have a FS2004 repaint for a aircraft for fsx?, such as the Ansett lockheed L188 repaint from FS2004, but I got fsx. is there a way to convert it to a FSX repaint?

Hey. I've downloaded a Jetstar A320 for FS2004 but have FSX and I've done what's on this video and it's all good, but the only problem is the cockpit does not appear. I've got the panel but no cockpit.
Panel.cfg might be messed up.

Dude its great that you are doing this we all really appreciate you but if you are going to tell a story please tell the whole story the first 737 you converted how did you do that you know some of us are slower than others Lol
Not a hard task, just download the file designed for FS2004. Once downloaded, copy to airplane folder and it will be there. No other converting needed. Then just add new panel and sound specifically for fsx to new folder and your done! Hope this helps.

YaBoiJuicy okay, but where did you get the "already fsx compatible" files? Where am I supposed to get the panel and sound specifically for fsx for a jet other than the 737? If I'm trying to do this for a 2004 mig31 or another plane other than the 737, am i supposed to just pull the "already fsx compatible" files outta my ass? You know that a 737 panel and sound isn't the same as another type of plane's panel and sound, right? dumb tutorial...

Can you do this with textures?
I have followed the instructions step by step, but my FS2004 aircraft continues to appear entirely White. No texture at all. I tried with a TDS737 and with a POSKY 747. Both appears all White.
