Love how the guy asked if he was alright right away after the knee popped. I just had my knee popped in a different position I was throwing up like a reverse knee shield and the guy pushed down my leg to my chest and my knee popped the same exact way. Still hurts weeks later.
I feel like Sam realized early on that if he was gonna be the bigger guy he had to learn how to play bottom game to improve. I fell way too in love with smashing everyone and it stunted my jiu-jitsu growth
Just opened vid and put on at 30:00.. damn that Sam dude was super annoying to watch. Who the hell just lays there and let’s everyone take positions.. boo. Also, What’s up with these dudes giving up dominance to go for some far reaching leg submission just to fail 9/10 times. Lol I’m only a blue belt but damn do they teach basics at 10th planet or what?
@@Secure_Mental never said I’m any better.. but come on you must agree with me that it’s stupid to allow your opponent to take positions on you the way this dude was playing and also to leave a mount to go for a leg.. what pro in the world does this? Name them.
@@codyyarbrough4840 the ruleset is sub only so it doesnt matter if they give up position points aren't in affect. At the higher level some guys just give positions up as a strategy. Losing a position could lead to a sweep or counter, etc. Plus this isn't MMA the consequences for giving up a less favorable position are way less. I understand your coming from a traditional mma or bjj perspective but high level sub only bjj doesn't abide by those rules its a totally different game. Guys grapple differently depending on the ruleset.
I don't know why this format isn't more common, it is a lot of fun to watch!
Chris Crawford vs Acosta was such an amazing high intensity leg lock battle! Master Class is right!

“Purple Belts”
Have not watched a lot of team duels. Are the teams all the same weight? Some look like a lot bigger then others. Cheers for upload!
They have a combined total weight limit.
smoking in the gym is wild lmao
Just remember you can't roll while stoned I think I am too stoned to remember
El Tornado 🌪️
"he's grabbing the gi!" gee wiz, why are you even allowed to wear it?
Tucson sent every 150 pound grappler they had and got stuck going against a 190 pound comrad with a nasty rubber guard.
Imagine showing up to a 10p duel in fucking gi pants and grabbing them mid match.
@29:00 guys are smoking in the background that's looks so fun weed and jiujutsu
La murdered tucson damn. Holland put up a great fight at the end though.
