Tried this head and arm escape in class today, got put to sleep, thanks Craig 👍
Lmaoo ya seems kinda risky to me. I usually just go fist in palm and try to get it to the matt.
😂
@@theymockedjesusalso no way that works against a really solid arm triangle unless there's a huge size difference.
Exposing the back and trying to defend is the only legitimate escape I've seen
Shoulda used more grease....
tried this yesterday and immediately got my back taken and choked out. shoulda bought more B-Cream
This class has a very early morning class vibe. Quiet but imo the best classes because fewer people want to get up that early so you have more instructor input. I am surprised Craig Jones class is not completely packed regardless of the time!
6 am crew rise up! 💪🏾☀️
@@johndoe4073 relax, Ciccio! Everyone's asleep.
Very good to see a bjj teacher teaching and paying attention to the students instead of training together without following along. Something very rare to see here in Brasil
É nada bicho. Para de reclamar do brasil só pra receber aplauso de gringo.

We live in the Golden age of JJ information. Thanks so much for putting this out Craig!
I really like how you show him answering questions. It helps clarify a lot of the nuance behind what he’s teaching. Really stoked about this!
It's basically like your in class with him to be honest!! Practiceing on a grappling dummy!
Thanks for the free class guys! I really appreciate the content.
I actually really like you showing the students questions because they asked the same stuff I would have lmao
Damn every class is basically a seminar with a ton if gold🔥🙏🏽⚡

16:00 illustrates the technique the best
Damn. I miss the days when Craig used to teach the 6am classes at Absolute St. Kilda. Those were the days!
Amazing! I did arm triangles literally tonight and here's an even better version - incredible.
Wow, I was able to escape arm triangle twice (out of two times) using this technique. Thanks a ton!
Its those finer details that are great to get right from the very early stages of learning bjj. Thanks
Thank you so much for including the questions and answers! That brings so much value to the instruction.
Please upload more videos like this. I feel like I learn more from these video than some face-to-face classes.
Favorite video they've put out. Thanks guys!
Watched this yesterday, hit the escape live in a roll today 🤘 thanks guys!
Learning from Craig should be great. He seems very chill
Thanks B-Team! I'll be trying this tonight.
Watched this before training, did it to my friends: works great, thanks. :D
Thanks for sharing🔥🔥
Nice! My favorite finishing technique. I've been finishing it in half guard for a couple of years now but love the nuances to help finish and the new escape to add in my bag of tricks.
was able to hit my first arm triangle after watching this , thanks dawg
This was awesome. Details/tweaks I very much needed for this choke (and escape). Thank you!
I taught this the other day, based off this video but I misremembered the leg detail. I was telling people to give a little forward pressure and then sit to the hip. Seemed quite effective.
The bugga sugga bandit himself teaching class 🎉🎉🎉🎉
wot in the world is a bugga sugga

@danny kuri Blow. He had a lot of fake cocaine in the intro to his new instructional. 🤣
Amazing video, this channel is killing it.
The patience from Craig is insane
buena salida del Kata gatame! me la apunto en mi repertorio. Muchas gracias!
Craigs and awesome teacher
I was expecting a little more from Craig. Search NOGI Arm Triangle Counters with Seph Smith of 50/50 BJJ. You can take your pick.
Man this is worth alot! Thank you from Sweden.
I can't believe this is free. I always get caught in the triangle. I'm gonna try this escape!
If you can feel them about to lock one in on short notice you can always use the ‘pick up the phone’
Palm of your hand on your ear and lay your elbow out to your side 😊 hope it helps 😊
had an opp in this in a comp and I had it as tight as i could get it, and nothin lol gonna try this out in training. good stuff
2 questions.
1. When you tripod up, what do you do to prevent them from inserting a knee in front of your hip?
2. I’m a small guy and am afraid they’d bridge and roll into me and I since my hip is on the mat, I don’t have much of a post besides the high elbow. Is that enough?
That’s why you leave the leg across their body instead of clock-walking like the traditional one.
in the finishing position you leave the leg across their body, but I think they mean when you're on your way to that position with your hips piked up high, leaving space for knees to potentially pummel through. I had the same question@@Name-ql7jf
Or you can windshield your leg instead of tripoding
@@FelixFrost But that's kind of the opposite of what Craig is suggesting here right? I typically put the foot across and leave the knee on the other side. But that doesn't keep them from rotating much.
with practice, you dont need to exaggerate the tripod like a person will do who is newer to the technique.
the use of the non-choking hand to put the opponent onto their side (facing away) will let you tighten the choke and prevent them from turning into you, which the leg configuration seen in the video should also help with in terms of limiting their escape and movement options
B Team boutta be the Mecca of jiujitsu in person and online!
Craig is awesome.
Gilbert Burns and Linton Vassell approve of this finishing technique
Vince!✊
Holy shit at the start I was mind blown I struggled with getting arm triangled so long ❤
Mmmm love me arm triangles. That was my white belt staple. My escape was just to relieve pressure by grabbing my leg/knee and let my opponent keep trying for the finish lol. Then I would pull it out and go from there
Bad ass content, I like this style.. thanks for the tech.
These are great videos, thanks for sharing guys!
Please keep them coming , these type of videos are the best to teach the people .big thumbs up 👍👍👍
Thank You for sharing the knowledge!!!!
Dude! You can't teach people how to escape my favorite sub!!
So this is the content we could be getting all the time on your submeta channel? Ok you’re convincing me now
More of this, please!
Nice of Craig to teach the white belt class!
Thanks for the video. I need to start dropping in a couple times a month. Always good stuff from you guys and I always enjoy training with anyone from B team…even when I get steamrolled 😂
This is by far the most effective escape I've tired
Great lesson
Great instructions. Thanks for the content!
B team all the way! Hope they figure out the Gordon Ryan puzzle
Thank you!

we need more of this
really good thanks!
incredible.
All the hot action is @15:58 🔥🔥🔥vol up!
So valuable. Keep it up!
Very Valuable video, LFG
Man is a real life Jedi
If anyone can help me, it would be much appreciated. I do everything when it comes to getting the arm triangle into place from mount, however I keep getting bridged off when I’m on top mount when trying to finish the arm triangle. Is there anything I can do to prevent from getting bridged off?
This is really helpful, thanks
great video thanks guys
Hey look its Vince!
Is it important that the arm of the person on whim the choke is applied is under the chin or does this not matter? Is it more important that the arm of the person who chokes is as close as possible on the other side? How to prevent the person on bottom to escape when one goes into that tripod?
mustache guy is enjoying the choke too much lmao
8:00 HE SAID PALM DOWN YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO PROFESSOR KREG

Excellent content as always. Sound is a bit choppy on this one though
thx coach 😘
Amazing
At 13.21 peak teaching example 😄
Is that Jude Law at 6:50 mark
Would be a dream to train here.
Craig had the sniffles, guess he might of had a few nose beers lol
beautiful 🙏 🙏 🙏
I dont understand exactly what i do wrong, i can do the classic version with just one arm easily, but this version i just dont get the same pressure, feels like i aliviate instead of add when i try to sprawl and then collapse to the side.
I'm sure I'll finish each of those here
now teach the escape for this pls
Can i use my outside leg to out a buterfly hook,? is useless?
That arm triangle is death. lol
This makes me wanna move to Austin haha
nice
Craig sounds like a pirate after a night of drinking
fucking arm triangle masterclass over here.
3:20 sometimes the only answer is "grappling is hard" bro
I wish you had taught the escape to Charles Olivera
Sniffing a lot there Craigo, been using those sunglasses?
I only use this type of arm triangle lol
blue belts only?
Imagine just have Jocef Chen in your class lmao
So not everyone at B Team is competiton level.. I didn't know that. Also, there is nothing like video so it is a little unfair for sure when it comes to learning and perfecting techniques. Being able to watch stop and rewatch over and over really gives you an amazing advantage with respect to perfecting a technique. Especially if video yourself and compare as well. Anyway, hang in there man. I am glad to see you recovered from the clotshot. Keep doing whatever you need to, to be healthy and detox that shit. Borax which is sold as a natural detergent (wtf? & Idk Y) it helps remove heavy metals including the graphene and aluminum from the shots. Anyway yeah take care of yourself bro.
The fuck was that crack at 5:26
Is "interesting" a nice way of saying "you are doing it wrong" 😅
