      @@theymockedjesusalso no way that works against a really solid arm triangle unless there's a huge size difference.
      Exposing the back and trying to defend is the only legitimate escape I've seen

    This class has a very early morning class vibe. Quiet but imo the best classes because fewer people want to get up that early so you have more instructor input. I am surprised Craig Jones class is not completely packed regardless of the time!

    2 questions.
    1. When you tripod up, what do you do to prevent them from inserting a knee in front of your hip?
    2. I’m a small guy and am afraid they’d bridge and roll into me and I since my hip is on the mat, I don’t have much of a post besides the high elbow. Is that enough?

    • @Name-ql7jf
      @Name-ql7jf 2 роки тому +2

      That’s why you leave the leg across their body instead of clock-walking like the traditional one.

    • @adammendola2210
      @adammendola2210 Рік тому

      in the finishing position you leave the leg across their body, but I think they mean when you're on your way to that position with your hips piked up high, leaving space for knees to potentially pummel through. I had the same question@@Name-ql7jf

    • @FelixFrost
      @FelixFrost 3 місяці тому

      Or you can windshield your leg instead of tripoding

    • @MrCmon113
      @MrCmon113 2 місяці тому

      @@FelixFrost But that's kind of the opposite of what Craig is suggesting here right? I typically put the foot across and leave the knee on the other side. But that doesn't keep them from rotating much.

    • @calbaking
      @calbaking 21 день тому

      with practice, you dont need to exaggerate the tripod like a person will do who is newer to the technique.
      the use of the non-choking hand to put the opponent onto their side (facing away) will let you tighten the choke and prevent them from turning into you, which the leg configuration seen in the video should also help with in terms of limiting their escape and movement options

    So not everyone at B Team is competiton level.. I didn't know that. Also, there is nothing like video so it is a little unfair for sure when it comes to learning and perfecting techniques. Being able to watch stop and rewatch over and over really gives you an amazing advantage with respect to perfecting a technique. Especially if video yourself and compare as well. Anyway, hang in there man. I am glad to see you recovered from the clotshot. Keep doing whatever you need to, to be healthy and detox that shit. Borax which is sold as a natural detergent (wtf? & Idk Y) it helps remove heavy metals including the graphene and aluminum from the shots. Anyway yeah take care of yourself bro.
