Being a young adult living in switzerland. What i would recommend most is too do a mountainridge hike. Meaning that throughout the whole hike you would have a 360 degrees panoramic view. If your intrested id be glad to help with one of the best ones. ( i hope) 😅
It‘s always humbling to see other people enjoy Switzerland, I‘ve been living in Switzerland for my entire life and after a certain amount of time, you kind of stop appreciating the beauty of this country. Truly motivates me to go out and start hiking again, there‘s so much more left to see here. I hope you enjoyed your stay here and hope to see you back in the future. Thank you for your videos, I love it!
I will never forget the feeling of seeing the Alps for the first time. I just stood there with an open mouth and wet eyes and i couldnt process what i saw, it was truly mindblowing. A few Bike tours later, i still get goosebumps when im on top of a mountain in the alps. It just never gets old :)
Guys, you are simply adorable. I have to admit, I live in Switzerland and have seen 1/3 of what you have experienced. I will definitely go to Lauterbrunnen & Zermatt next week. Only because of you! And by the way, Switzerland would be so much richer, if you would stay here. Maybe you still manage to visit the Cauma Lake. Simply for the wow counter. ;) Enjoy it and thanks for your great content.
Once again: well done! What I love most about your videos is that you always focus on the positive, even though you obviously see the negative too. Keep up the good work and continue to enjoy life
I'm truly enjoying your travel vlogs. This is especially entertaining with all the beautiful vistas and the mundane errands of grocery shopping and preparing a meal. You two are incredibly suited for each other. Love sharing in your experiences.
Your dance during the hike at the end of the video is👌🏻. It is so nice to see how much people can appreciate nature. I‘m Swiss and had tears in my eyes noticing again how lucky I am living in this amazing country. Love u guys❤️
It's funny seeing the fascination tourists have with the Matterhorn😂Me being from Switzerland... seeing the Matterhorn: "Well, it's just another mountain... i guess"😂
@@Moloch2024 I love nature. I even work in and with nature daily. I hike a lot. If work allows me to, I hike at least 3-4 times a month. Which is probably why I think the Matterhorn isn't that special. I've seen and been on so many different peaks and mountain tops, that are just as beautiful, if not more beautiful than the Matterhorn and I don't even have to pay 100 swiss francs for a cable car to see those....
when you grew up here like me it seems just like anormal afternoon walk, but seeing the smiles and the wow counter was super nice. hope you enjoyed all the places :D
Its soo cool to see you guys enjoy Zermatt. I actually live there since forever. Its really crazy to see you two walking through my hometown and seeing all the places I see everyday. :))
Thank you for this lovely video. I had so much fun "hiking" with you in Zermatt and seing you enjoy one of my favourite places to disconnect and enjoy nature. That bonus part at the end, priceless lol
As a Swiss person Tipp number one is that wether your at Coop or Migros they literally have everything you could imagine! We are so blessed with that! 🇨🇭 ❤
Oskar and Dan i love your videos, but the one on Switzerland is absolutely spectacular. You are so brave to undertake such ventures. I am encouraging my children to travel as much as they can. All inspired by you.
if you still got some spare time on your hands, I'd recommend you visit the Engadin valley in Graubünden (like take a train ride through it or something similar) or the Creux du Van in the French speaking part of Switzerland. :)
Really nice! I love your videos, even though I've just seen the Switzerland ones so far. Did the same hike with my wife last year, it's just insanely beautiful. We had perfect weather :) - Good to see how much you like our country!
I went to Switzerland in 2007 and it was magical. I went late September into early October, so it was in between the seasons. Zermatt was stunning! There was more snow than what you had with your trip, and the town looked so pretty. I didn't know about the 5 lake hike! How?? I am so bummed I didn't get to do that. I definitely want to go back to Switzerland because it is like a post card is real at every turn.
These guys are a couple who you be sad to hear they broke up even though you don't know them personally. Switzerland is top of my bucket list so LOVING these vids.
Thank you so much guys for visiting my beautiful Switzerland, and sharing its many gourgeous, peaceful places. As a Swiss woman currently expatriated in South America, I am realising how much I am lucky to be a Swiss citizen and how much I used to take its many beauties and comforts for granted 😔. And I haven't visited and done half of the things you have done in Switzerland. Promise, when I get back I will really visit it and enjoy it as it should! Should you wish to visit the French-speaking of Switzerland, I would strongly recommend you the canton of Valais and all the region of the Geneva/Leman Lake. Thank you and keep on showing us videos on your Swiss trip! And how about getting expatriated in Switzerland? We would be so much the richer with such positive and open-minded people such as you ❤️. Well done and keep up the good work! Nathalie (Switzerland/Colombia)
this video made me emotional. Switzerland is one of the countries on my bucket list but I can't go there yet due to responsibilities/life. I wish I to experience this moment soon.
Oskar and Dan, I have watched your Switzerland adventure videos twice! Thank you so much for the information, your energy and how much fun travel can be. I am surprising my daughter with a trip to Zermatt next month. She thinks we are going to Italy...we are but making a pit stop for a few days. Looking forward to viewing your future adventures!
Ok we love you even more! We lived in Cheonan, South Korea for a year! Love your energy, love your style, love your vibe! Ohhh and we totally dig you going to the grocery stores! We are heading to Austria next week, and now are stoked to try COOP. Can't wait for the next video
I'm so happy you enjoyed our country 😊 and I completely understand your reaction to Zermatt and the Matterhorn, I'm the same every time I go there 😅 Hiking there is just amazing! Also, agreed on the vegan Toblerone - We need it!
Cool to see you guys love Switzerland so much. I also have been to Zermatt and I agree Zermatt is a dream. As a swiss person though, I don't really appreciate it as much as a foreign person. 6:26 How about filming out of the Gondola window? 13:53 He used a bread knife for Tomatoes 😳😑
We hope to do the 5 lake-hike in the fall, even the kids are excited! We probably would make it longer than you guys did with many stops in between. Not to mention dancing 😄 quite a dancer there 👍
Its crazy how good Oskar's pronounciation of all of these german words are...Tbh if he spoke to me like that in public i wouldn't even notice he's not a native!
Hey guys, I am heading to Switzerland the first week in April. When were you there? I am wondering if it was summer or not or if I could do this walk when I visit. Thank you!

I have been to Zermatt with my mom as a kid, because that's where she and my uncle went to school But I have not been there since. I miss that here in the US. Oscar's dance, though.... Show us more !!!! Yayyyyy Oscar !!!
Nice! I'm happy for you to eventually see the Matterhorn in its full glory. I go there pretty much every year for 1-2 weeks and the WOW factor never fades. Too bad the ticket to the Klein Matterhorn aka "Glacier Paradise" is so freaking expensive (I totally understand you didn't go there - or Gornergrat) - but the view up there at 3900m is out of this world (in good weather condition). THERE you ARE in heaven. Btw. Migros is pronounced without the s ;)
Great that you also used the cable cars and went on a hike. It would be a shame to only visit the Swiss cities. Even outside the Alps there are such beautiful places (for example in the Jura). Det är synd att Matterhorn-chokladen inte är vegansk 😉
Hey Oskar and Dan...loved the video ♥️...also your time stamps...you can add 0:00 in the description so that the anyone can easily skip even without going into the description! That means just by skipping the video! Also, loved the hike! ⛄⛄🤓🤓
And a tip as a person that likes to hike in switzerland: always check the surroundings of the stream because if there are cows or goats or sth similar in the area it can be possible that the water contains urin and stuff because of the animals.
