Absolutely fantastic video, thank you! For decades I’ve been buying and using detergents mostly relying on the promise of the packaging but not paying much attention to what they are, what will most effective and why.
Love this longer more in-depth video and the information is rock solid as always! Not sure if you are trying for this but I have been noticing ASMR effects subtly while watching your videos so extra kudos on the dialogue delivery!!! My inner cleaning savage is emerging cause of you, LOVE!!!
Ever since I found your channel, I've been binge watching your videos. They are all awesome! I love the way you explain things, and I've learned things I never knew before. Thank you so much!🥰
This is so helpful. Very in-depth information. I'm going to have to watch it again because I'm not going to remember all of that. So much information. Thank you. I like to use Mr clean. It says it cleans and disinfects at the same time. I am assuming that it is pH neutral because it makes my floors so clean and shiny and not sticky. I don't know how to find out if its pH neutral or not but it seems to be I just might give that fabuloso a try that sounds good.
@@evasochocki5209 Glad you found the video valuable! Each Mr Clean product will have its own dedicated SDS sheet. The SDS sheet will tell you the ph of the product amongst other things. Over the years I do not buy NEARLY the amount of cleaning products I used to.... Let's see... I definitely buy Clorox liquid bleach... Dish soap... Peroixde, Rubbing Alcohol... essential oil... Comet powder cleanser...distilled vinegar...Maybe a couple of others things I'm missing...... One thing that I never buy is air fresheners... so funny because I remember back in the day every week buying something from the cleaning isle and now it's RARE...
@@Chanel31113 Clorox... I fill a spray bottle with water and add a couple tbs of clorox to make bleach water.. I use a small amount of bleach when I wash whites in laundry.. as for essential oil... I just use it when I make a general cleaner (a totally different spray bottle) which is filling a spray bottle about 1/2 with water... maybe 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol and peroxide...a couple tbs of dish liquid and maybe a tablespoon of dishwasher rinse aid......then a few drops of essential oil.. usually lemon or eucalyptus...
Wow this is a hugely informative video and I'm about to do a reassessment of all my cleaning products right now. What you said about the carpet cleaners is a revelation to me. As a pet sitter I always use whatever cleaners people have on hand to spot clean their carpets (usually resolve) but it always feels wrong to leave it without removing the residue.
@@lizbethvargas6905 happy to help. Multipurpose cleaners just remove soil (grease/grime) from a surface. Disinfectants are what you use after you have removed all the grease from a surface. Cleaning and disinfecting is a two step process. You always remove the soil first and disinfect second. If you try to disinfect a surface before removing all the soil, the soil will interfere with the disinfecting process👍
Do you have any recommendations for pebble stone shower cleaners? I’m sure alkaline is best but I’m trying to find what others may use, even if I have to make it at home (DIY).
i would love a video talking about the key ingredients that makes diferent one product from other, specially in the last ones, what they do and ways of making a diy version of those.
Hello CWC, I have a problem with my toilet. I bought the Lysol toilet bowl hangers. It left blue streak stains running down the inside of the toilet bowl and I have tried to remove them with: Vinegar, Ajax, Fantastic,Barkeepers powder, etc. and they do not go away. Would you have a suggestion on how to remove them? Those products I mentioned remove everything else but those blue stains. Thank You for your videos👍🏼👍🏼💯💯
Do you know of a way to clean plexiglass and to restore it. The apartment I live in they have a sheet of plexiglass on the wall behind the stove up to the air vent. Please let me know. Thank you.
Hmm…so surfaces and floors with fabuloso but ‘rinse’ with water? Organic messes with bases, the messier the heavier? (Except urine I must use vinegar) Tub, toilet, sinks, use acids? Specialty messes use specialized cleaners?? That’s doable 🤔
No rinsing needed with pH neutral products, such as Fabuloso. Do rinse after using acidic or alkaline products, such as a toilet bowl cleaner or oven cleaner.
I'm really missing the 'why' here. How does a high pH help against grease? How come pH-neutral floor cleaners don't leave residue? Surely the residue is just detergent that gets left behind when water evaporates. How does the pH matter? And what does 'organic' even mean in a cleaning context? In chemistry it means: everything with carbon in it. So is engine oil considered organic here?
On the big fabuloso (spelling) 10:40 multipurpose bottle at my iob the direction say not supposed to spray it. Still do it tho. Just thought that was interesting you said they spray it at mosr mexican restaurants
There's so much good information here even if you're not a beginner, great work!

what PH is best for porcer floor?
always ph neutral when cleaning floors.
What do you use for laundry cleaner?😊

Oil does have organic origins, but yeah just because its PH neutral why doesn't it leave residue?
What store is that? Whatever it is you have a fully stocked store with every cleaner ever.
There were two stores in the video. The first store was Home Depot the second store is Target.
Ah, yes, "pH = the power of Hydrogen" from Chem 104
