I try doing a hack to a 2011 MacBook Pro A1286 820-2915 to make it ignore GPU temperature readings issues from a faulty GPU, this should work if you have an otherwise good GPU, but that gives slowdowns from a bad GPU temperature sensor.

base and collector must be connected together temperature will be read more correctly. I did this with a 3904

I have a problem with a Macbook Pro 15 Early 2011 I7 fans at maximum speed and very slow mouse pointer as well as the Macbook I started the Apple Hardware Test and got this error "Temperature (Tm0P) -DC In Proximity Airflow unble to read sensor the temperatures are all normal and the macbook does not heat up where the sensor is on the motherboard? thanks

I have the same issue on my Lenovo laptop and it has 940MX 2GB GDDR5 but it changes it's hotspot temperatures randomly and crashes the pc, can it be fixed? or it death because it looks like the problem is at GPU Temperature Sensor.
