Actually the correct word for what you're describing is 'ENVIOUS' not "Jealous"; huge swathes of people in English speaking countries make the mistake of using the word jealous when they mean envy or envious; to the point where jealous has come to mean envious. This happened because vast majority of people are robots who blindly follow like sheep, they lack independence of thought and action.

I just quit a job after trying to deal with these things for almost a year.I quit Oct 10th, because I couldn't take anymore hell,deciet,toxic, uncaring from that place.
The primary person was a lead named Paul who was bias and racist against me, he is black but only likes Mexican woman,he treated me like a horse,and treated them like princess,I got everything hard and they got it easy
Then a fake friend named Marlo,she knew he treated me bad saw nothing wrong,but was being his friend,kissing his butt to get good work and she tried to put do me and even though I got the worst work,she Still couldn't make me look bad..They would whisper and he always tried to make it like she was this and that,but EVERYTHING I did great,how fast I am,NEVER was spoken of.Then that Marlo female would always be trying to act like she helping by trying to make me look inferior Iike I need her...I told her,do you and I do mean,I don't need you to do nothing for me.She was one of them people that tried to show she better through doing things that make a person look like they are not capable of handling the load,she NEVER reached to do that to NOBODY ELSE just me...And my rate was higher than hers all the time and most of the others too..That's where he came and give the ones he liked the work that gets high rates and gave me the crap,but I would FINISH everything fast and still get better rates,I worked through every break and lunch while everyone enjoyed their breaks and lunchi couldn't because of the bad tedious work I have ever day...So I left.He said one time,He wanted her to be like me... I've had lots of problems with jealous women especially my mom and a cousin. Very few women can be trusted. I need to be chooser and less trusting.
I'm experiencing that right now. I just had one of my biggest accomplishments and my closest friends and sister have nothing to say about it AT ALL. If I never speak of it again it would be too soon for them. This is some serious psychological warfare.

In Hawaii it's called the "A'ama crab syndrome" - named after crabs in a bucket. If you are crawling to the top of the bucket, the others pull you down as they don't want to see you get out (succeed), they all want to keep you down in the bucket (unhappy). My sister is pathologically jealous of me and always has been, since I was born. She can't bear for me to have anything, even though she has far more than I do. Without doubt she has ruined my life.
I am in a similar situation as the younger sister. Mine has turned our parents against me and done countless vindictive acts all unprovoked. She’s truly a miserable human being but has always focused much of her rage & hostility on me since our childhood.

Unfortunately, we share in his care & responsibilities. Jealous people don't bother me in thd least. I just carry on doing what I'm doing, and if it sickens them so be it. I walk about with a smile on my face, and it gets to them. Envy is a deadly sin, and they're the ones who suffer the consequences not me. As for me, I just laugh it off and move on.

I used to know a woman who would be the social picture taker and poster in our group gatherings. She would take cute posed pictures of everyone, except me. She would snap an awkward candid photo and then tag all of us. It happened so much I finally mentioned it to our mutual friend and her response floored me, "Yea, she's just like that" Needless to say I dumped all of them.
Yes or they take a pic that they look fantastic in and you don’t look great or use your things like I took my girlfriends out for a diner / dance evening with limousine ( it was my birthday this weekend ). She takes pictures as if she paid for all of it standing up against the limousine so everyone could see it on Internet . Ha ha 😂🎉 I had saved up for this 😅

As a human being having feelings of envy can be quite normal, it’s what you do with those feelings that makes all the difference.

This sounds like the narcissistic family members that I have recently removed from my life.
It can go beyond that if the jealous person is a covert narcisist or a fake friend, or sometimes with a hidden motive, It goes to total distruction with a stab at the back, or gas lighting you, lying behind your back, etc, and unfortunately some people are welling to do anything when it comes to competition.
Had a friend that I truly cared about that exhibited all of these behaviors. Had to move on from her. Best decision I ever made, one of the hardest too.

Jealousy is very bad thought , it creates a bad karma for the person who is doing it. It’s always better refrain from these negative thoughts. Don’t compare your life with others, genuinely be happy about anyone’s happiness or success even if you don’t have it, otherwise you will face consequences sooner or later, because what we sow we will reap.

I literally have people tell me “stop being so happy and supportive for everyone else and put that same happiness into yourself.” I literally do though. I can legitimately work on my own life and be happy for someone else as the same time …. Just got out a relationship where she had every symptom. Im just now realizing her jealousy was so bad, its what ruined our relationship, she kept projecting that onto me and telling me i was jealous.
I cannot even imagine being a jealous person. I have certainly had a few women in my life who were like that toward I can't comprehend it! So now I just stay close with family and my husband.

I'm 6'5 and I'm atrractive. I had this one friend who would try to show up to gatherings before I got there so he can slander my name. It's beyond jealousy it's almost hatred. Not to mention he tried to set me up to get harmed but God and my intuition saved me that day

Be very wary of insults wrapped in a joke. In social situations they hit you when you have your guard down so you go along with it since it's disguised as banter ... but it's not.

I grew up with a mother and a brother like that jealous!! Always put me down, criticized even when I did something amazing. Like honor roll. II was happy when I left home. I had a lot of resentment and anger After of this horrible treatment and I went to therapy! It helps a lot❤

I worked for a global car company and a person transferred to our department and was bad mouthing me constantly aftwr less than 6 months. He was jealous because I was technically better than him, I had a lot more technical experience, I had far higher qualifications, but I was in an isolated work area, so he had a free rein to spout his bile. I had 14 men plotting to try and force me to leave - including the Department Manager - but I hung on. I would not bow to their pressure and I just got on with my own work. If I ever meet any of them in the street, their next stop will be ICU, not for what they did to me, but for the 2nd Degree torment which they inflicted upon my wife. If any of you are reading this, it will be brutal, it will be slow and it will be merciless.
I seem to be the victim of jealous people all the time. I have also witnessed many other people who have been victims of this. I do not go to a lot of social events, because of this. I have encountered jealous people in many social settings. Jealous people can be from any walk of life. Any age group. Any nationality. Male or female. I have encountered so many, although I would say most of the people who have shown jealous feelings towards me, have been male. They obviously see me as some sort of threat. Yet, a lot of them are complete strangers. I wonder, is there something about my presence, my aura, that causes these people to be jealous and obviously insecure? I could add so much more to this, but yes, I certainly get the gist of what jealous people are all about.
When a person is insecure about something that you are secure about, it can trigger jealousy. I think it happens to everyone but the dangerous ones are the ones who act on their jealousy.
You have the aura of happiness, and positive about yourself, and what you do, that is what hurts the most jealous people, I've gone through the same things at work places, and of course my brother, he tries to out do me in every aspect, I bought a pickup, and he had to buy a bigger, and nicer one to keep up with me, I wanted the truck for work, he wanted a truck to show off, but before he knew it his truck is broken now, and I still have mine, and I haven't seen my brother since. I know what you were going through , there is a lot to this story, but you have an idea, i'm sure.
I knew someone who was suppose to be a mother figure but would always belittle my accomplishments or aspirations… you would think that wouldn’t be the case but I always felt there was a jealous spirit with her .. sometimes it’s not just friends but be mindful of any and everyone you observe with these signs…

My brother is like this 😢. One of the many reasons I moved out as soon as possible. And the worst part is that I feel selfish and not deserving everything I have and have accomplished.
Alex, don’t ever allow yourself to feel selfish or feel like you don’t deserve everything that you have worked for. You are not responsible for your brother or anyone else’s failures, lack, etc. you did the right thing by moving out, now move on and don’t let guilt weigh you down.

I felt like this video was about my older brother. I grew up closer to my dad, who was rational, trustworthy, and respected by many while he was closer to my malicious and vindictive mother.
I have both experienced jealousy towards me and have been jealous and/or envious of others. The correct perspective is the one in the middle. What other people have may give them an edge in that one area but at the same time your lack of that thing gives you the edge in other areas. It’s not that others are better than you intrinsically or you to them. It’s the perspective that we have of those things.
Jealousy is the opposite of appreciation. If you appreciate others might have talent, genuis or skills you don't have, then you can understand it's not a matter of perspective but fact. It's what people value. Some don't have opportunities you've had and they may not have those abilities. Whether someone supersedes you or doesn't, Does not make you better or less. Everyone is worthy of dignity because they are a unique configuration of life. Jealousy is lack of appreciation for others and low self esteem.

This is so utterly accurate. I shared a flat with asomeone who back bit me and tried to put me down at every point. He was the worst person I have ever met. He tried to steer me to what he wanted, tried to cut off my family and friends.
He could not stand that I got on with so many people, especially females.
He wanted where I went, my bank balance and openly threatened my nieces.
Eventually I answered him back and then it got physical. As a person who knows how to fight - he really badly regretted it.
Your own parents can be jealous of u. Example my parents speak all like above. Undermine others in their narrow perspectives. Just tell them back they are false sense of superiority is fake. Don't believe a word of jealous parents.

Grew up with an unbelievably jealous father, hated sharing any affection with my mother. Degraded, abusive, belittled me his whole life. Enormous emotional and physical abuse. Still tries thowing punches at me as an adult. He's 75 now. He should never had children

There's someone I can't seem to dodge at the moment. Says things under their breath (hasn't realised I have exceptional hearing) and I keep catching filthy looks when they think I'm not looking.
I do not understand jealousy posibly because i dont feel it about other people. But i have known people take great pains in making me feel insecure...i just walk away finding it best to just ignore such people, as they dont really know me or what i have had to endure in life..😊

Both jealousy and envy are signs of an even deadlier trait, covetousness, which is the root cause of all of the deadly sins. I touched on jealousy as being a sign of both immaturity and femininity because it unmanly for adult aged men to act out on emotional whimsicals, regardless of how acceptable it to be undisciplined.

When a boy becomes a fully realized adult, he becomes aware of what is and isn't within his control. This mature and masculine trait sets the fully realized man or self-actualized man apart from women and children.

I grew up with the most Jealous mom ever and she was jealous of my sister and I and she would date alot of men and if they were to nice and liked us ,they were kicked to the curb ,all the while and to this day she says ,I was looking for a dad for you girls..pssht 🤣..

I’m noticing that a friend who comes over to work on our art has an envious nature and seems very disrespectful sometimes. She usually controls it towards me but she recently let loose on her well to do friend who married a wealthy man. She wants to learn from me yet repeatedly disregards my advice which has caused her to make some time consuming and expensive mistakes. She has helped me tremendously in the past, but also been very rude. I feel like backing off from this friendship.
I’m going through the same thing now. She’s seems mad that her wealthy cousin is treating me to nice dinners and nice trips. She told me he was cheap. He’s definitely not 🤣

Some of my relatives has formed an alliance against me , they even using people who they knew loves me. They spread fake news n gossips twisted lies to turned others against me. I prayed n stay focus on my goals,they even malice n exclude me from family gatherings, I also avoid contact with them because I now used the power of silence to defeat the evil of jealousy,envy n greed, compound ed with narcissistic behavior.
Sounds like my whole life really. Recently in my recovery group I've been accused of stealing the groups money, and one guy accused me of stealing his personal money after he told me he lost it cutting firewood on my property so he could be warm at his home. Not nice! His girlfriend has been isolating me from my friends or if I happen to talk to a girl, she will give the girl some juicy gossip about me and then they won't talk to me again. One guy approached me after a meeting and said, "Peacocking today?" I was wearing a nice Hawaiian shirt. The list goes on and I'm sick of it. I'm an older guy so leave me the fuk alone. I don't chase girls and I'm happy alone, but it is nice to talk to people some.

Faced all of these behaviors, especially full on smear campaigns and stalking, copying everything I do and what I wear, trying to get me fired from my next jobs. And we are both mid 30s.... This behaviour if not stopeed can - but doesnt have to - lead to something terrfying in future. All criminals start somewhere...

I had a former friend like this. Worst thing was he would come to my house, eat up my food, then chastise me for what he can think up. After the summer, I stopped talking to him.
