He is still with me... Used to hear that tune with him in his great Ford, a large Country Sedan returning in the highway on a sunny sunday Back in 1988... Those we're the days...
I've been on a month long mission to figure out what my health insurance company phone hold music is. Love it and knew the tune but couldn't place it. Figure it out today! Great song.
Someone said to me once, If the 70s had a theme tune to represent that decade, Then this would be it, I Totally agree with my friends statement, just pure class
Sir------I 1st heard this Masterpiece in December of '73, as I drove back to Denver, from LA, on I-70. it was late at night, and I had KOMA in Oklahoma, 820 AM, I believe, & the DJ intro'd this song by just saying it was Barry White & the Love unlimited Orchestra. I was enraptured, as i drove ! when I got home to Denver, I ran out & bought the album. what a gem it is !----------------MJL< 76 y/o
@@michaellazzeri2069 …great little story. It obviously left a massive impression on you to remember this 48 years later. I remember running from my room and falling down the stairs to hear this on some ABC sports show on early Saturday afternoons. Great song.
When I was a teen back in the 70's there was a music show (before the likes of MTV) called Sounds Unlimited, hosted by Donny Sutherland, the opening and closing theme for this show was Barry White and The Love Unlimited Orchestra playing this track. It was my favourite music show, and one of my favourite pieces of music.
I have listening to this melody for just as long and never knew what the title was until now. Ironically, just came across it on a UA-cam short that was unrelated but included. Saw the title.
I was nine years old and had an AM radio under my pillow. One station played this ten or twelve times a day. It put me to sleep. Thank God this happened!
That was PHENOMENALLY Beautiful,... I tip my hat to this Orchestra for "Mastering" this incredible masterpiece and SO well done. This was true music to my ears, performance PERFECTION. ❤
Hail Master Barry White ! One of the most complete and wonderful musicians on the Planet Earth ! Conductor, Composer, Instrumentalist, Singer and Arranger ! Too beautiful ! Genius ! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I have heard a story that Barry White composed Love’s Theme in the mid or late 50’s. It was viewed as ahead of its time because of the sound and instrumentation. Barry had to wait a long twenty something years to put this composition out, and it was worth it. This composition was the theme song for the 70’s. Much like Percy Faith’s rendition of A Summer Place was a theme song for the 60’s. My father was a New Jersey State Trooper and he used Love’s Theme as part of his slide show presentation for recruitment and public relations regarding the many diverse roles in the New Jersey State Police. This orchestra did a fantastic performance and honored The Maestro well. Although it was raining, I can only imagine the rain being tears of joy and pride that people all over the world still remember and still enjoy his music. Yes. The Maestro is very proud.❤️👍🎷😎 Peace.
I am hearing this for the first time by Holland Symphony Orchestra. It was as if Barry White was present doing this beautitude of a composition. This too, will be unforgetable!
No, my generation doesn’t know good music. Very little of us know good music and it’s usually from our parents. I’m 13. Don’t get me wrong, I’d go to a concert where’s this is played, but I know a lot of people that won’t.
@I_Love_my_adblock4408 Particularly the violin! I'd listened to Love's Theme for decades imagining a classically trained muscians, an orchestra, playing it. I was always curious about how the violinists produced those soaring notes in one of my favorite passages [2:13]. Imagine my delight when UA-cam (the Holland Symphony Orchestra and the director of that broadcast) fulfilled my long-held wish. Even as I watch, it's hard to believe that what the violinists are doing is actually producing that thrilling sound. Oh joy!
The junior high school orchestra i was in the 70s we played this song for the school and all are parents. We never felt so much pride in learning and being able to and playing that song. The orchestra teacher actually cried with how well we played it. Something I'll never forget.
I like how they had videos of Barry White conducting in the background on the big screen. That man was a genius and is so under appreciated for his contributions to the music world.
I slide right back to the seventys as soon as I heard the first cord on the violin. Wish there was a way to transport the good times from the seventys to now.
This song is a master piece created by The Masteo himself. I mean, this song is so sweet and has such a vibe that's timeless. When I was a teenager. I saw Barry White perform Love's Theme live in concert, with a 40-piece orchestra. That memory will always live in my heart. Salute to the great Mastro, Barry White. 👏🏽🙌🏾💫✨️🔥🕊💃🏾💕
O maestro Barry White fez a diferença, Gratidão.
Am I the only one in tears out of this in such a pandemic and catastrophic season? Oh man what a melody, incredible creativity Mr. White… God bless your SOUL wherever you are…
This is a beautiful piece of music. There was something special about disco music. Sometimes I wish I was born early enough to be a 20-year-old in the late 1970s at the start of disco. Dancing in the clubs to this music and others from artists like the Bee Gees must have been absolute fun especially for those who could get into Studio 54. What a party the disco years were and I'm sad I missed it. People around back then had the time of their lives before the dark era arrived in the 1980s that brought a terrible disease which began cutting people down faster than the H1-N1 pandemic of 1918.
Listening to Barry White’s music especially this particular masterpiece brings back wonderful memories of my teenage years. He will always remain in our hearts forever.
This masterpiece remind me of my late father 😢
He is still with me... Used to hear that tune with him in his great Ford, a large Country Sedan returning in the highway on a sunny sunday Back in 1988... Those we're the days...
I love this instrumental orchestra love theme Barry White.
I play this in my mind almost everyday. It relieves me.
I am from nowhere close to the 70’s, but this is a stoke of brilliance, even gets our gears going.
me too... 😭

Wonderfull music !!
This Will be forever
I don't care what the reality is--I just want Barry White back and singing more songs.
They don’t make music like this anymore. So much richness & dynamics that an orchestra brings 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Today's pop stars can't carry a tune.
Nothing compares!!!!❤
The best instrumental I have ever heard. Been loving this song since the 70's.
See you in Heaven, Barry White...

When I heard the 1960's version it was very raw but then in the 1970's he refined it and created a masterpiece. Gone too soon RIP Mastro.

He had to have had the mind of a genius to write all of the music in this song. Blows my mind.
If ever he created a Magnum Opus,in his life...this is it! Thank you Sir Barry White!

This song takes me on a journey full of emotions.
I first heard this I "76", on my way to a new duty station in Italy
