I think Xdefiant not having sbmm is a total crock. Here is how I know. The disbanding lobbies supposedly being bugged and yet to even be mentioned as for patches to fix it are concerned. That’s a dead give away. Plus I have the same exact experience that I have on cod. I didn’t play xdefiant to get away from cod, I play them simultaneously. In one match I will just fry people. Even react late and still get the kill. No net code issues feels actually better than cod. Then after a couple of games of that, I’m the one getting shredded. Sbmm not being in Xdefiant was a marketing technique.

It's crazy that I don't really watch streams of games that I play. I play Xdefiant, but I have no desire to watch anyone stream it. I don't play Fortnite or UFC at all, but I can watch people play it for hours.
Xdifiant numbers will go back up once S1 hits in July. Then it will probably even out until bo6 comes out. Bo6 will top 10. Zombies could definitely keep up with Xdifiant.
Xdefiant is an “OK” game and I’ve already played and enjoyed it more than the last 5 cods. Mainly due to no SBMM. However it’s definitely not a game I’m playing for years to come. There just isn’t enough there to keep me interested. It’s basically just Cod without killstreaks, and the special abilities are annoying as f. Its also another generic hero/operator shooter like almost every other shooter these days and has no clear setting/identity and no story/lore for you to immerse yourself in.

It’s important to remember that twitch viewership for an ftp arcade shooter isn’t a great gauge of popularity. Most people play instead of watch. Also a ftp cross platform game like XDefiant doesn’t need millions of players to stay alive. As long as it have a core base of 10,000 or so it will be perfectly fine.

Guns need balance no-way snipers should ever be one shot in core call of duty has gotten that wrong for years. Butt in x defiant the shotguns and submachine guns need turned up less time to kill should reward the person that runs and guns. Bunny hopping still needs fixed. And yes it feels like a bunch of sweats just like on call of duty I think just the same people's going to play these first person shooters. But it's not a bad game it just needs a few things fixed. But snipers are killing the game just like in battlefield.

Guns need balance no-way snipers should ever be one shot in core call of duty has gotten that wrong for years. Butt in x defiant the shotguns and submachine guns need turned up less time to kill should reward the person that runs and guns. Bunny hopping still needs fixed. And yes it feels like a bunch of sweats just like on call of duty I think just the same people's going to play these first person shooters. But it's not a bad game it just needs a few things fixed. But snipers are killing the game just like in battlefield.

xdefiant like cod has never had big view numbers, but has always had bigger player numbers. Now is no different, low views but higher player numbers. BO6 won't be any different, once it launches it'll blowup in player numbers treyarch games always have. Whether it keeps it's high player count. I'm betting will determine within a month after launch with how aggressive the sbmm and eomm is. But also xdefiant is in a predicament as well. It's servers are fucking horrible and that's what's just destroying it. they keep saying they're working on a fix, but unless they fix this huge prob. xdefiant will continue to lose a massive number of it's players.
