Our family loves to follow you. Thanks for having a good clean channel. We purchased an old home site 5 years ago and built a new home. The original home burned down.We have done some detecting and found a few treasures. After tilling our new garden spot we have unearthed several more items. Some of them are old coins. What can we clean or soak them with to be able to identify them?
Great hunt Michael! And wow, the 1921 peace dollar is a key date! They changed the design in 1922 because the relief of the coin was raised above the rim, and when you would stack a bunch of them, it would topple over, so bankers didn't like it and they changed the design. So the 1921 is abnormally thick. :)
I love how you get so excited. Most young people today have no desire to do all the awesome things you do....most of them are on some kind of phone or games. They need to get outside and move much more....... God BLESS you.
Nah mate loads of us love this kind of stuff. But it can pretty hard to afford to buy the equipment, and it is even harder to find a place you are allowed to use it. I spend a lot of time on my phone, but where I live we don't really have much else to do.
I'm fighting an infection, feel like roakill behind a peterbilt, but for 15 minutes you made me smile and forget. Thank you. That Peace Dollar could be worth upwards of $80+ depending on the quality. Such an amazing day! thanks for taking us along.
Awesome find Nuggetnoggin, my grandmother was born in 1908, I have done away with so many Indianhead pennies, now I have to check all the pennies that I finally started saving, thanks for sharing!
That is one awesome peace dollar. I have yet to find one but if I do I'll be sure to capture it on camera that's for sure! Thanks for sharing really loved the video as usual. 👍
Proverbs 3:13-14 KJV Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
Chris Auflick ...Matthew 7:7 KJV Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:... I was blessed by the spirit of the Lord with gifts beyond measure, but only after I opened my heart, mind and soul to Him. This, is how you, can find both... For I tell you, just as all the things you perceive with your eyes are real, so too are the things not perceived... Jesus lives...
The Bell and The Buckle! Wow @nuggetnoggin both are exceptional and ye got a sea of other interesting finds! Great job as usual. IOU a few hundred video likes still as ye have carried me through many dark hours the last few years. I thank Ye. Never doubt the gifts ye share; they are priceless!
You guys hit the Jackpot on this one! So exciting to watch! My heart skipped a few beats on some the the finds. Amazing finds guys! I love finding Indians, just something about them. I found a 1853 half dime a couple of weeks ago, I still cant breath from that one. Wishing you all a awesome weekend;)
What a amazing hunt, that reminds me how it used to be 42 years ago when I started metal detecting with coins everywhere, it was all virgin grounds basically. Looking forward to future videos.
An awesome day's digging, Michael! Your finds of the bell and the buckle were wonderful, as well as the coins. And wasn't Soren lucky!!! This video is one of your best. Please keep 'em coming!
Looks like you fellas were having a great day. Nugg, as well, it makes me feel good that you’re mentoring these young men with sunshine, outdoor adventure and Christian fellowship. Stay awesome.
Awesome finds! I wonder if that place was once a school house? That big buckle I recall from books was worn by a school headmaster, the bell would be wrung when school started, and they used oil lamps, inkwells n such. Great history there!
Not just a Peace Dollar, but a key date 1921. Great job! Lots of great finds everyone! Cool bell, with the clapper too! It was probably the dinner bell way back when.
Excellent finds👍👍👍 Key date on the silver dollar! I loved you complete bell 🔔 Looked like you guys were having great time!!!! Thanks for sharing your adventure 😁😁😁
Those we're some really great finds. The complete bell with the clanker. And your friend finding the old dollar coin. Very nice day of hunting 👍 I really enjoyed this video. 😊
@@kerrypitt9789 there were very few peace dollars minted in 1921, so because of their rarity, they will cost a collector a lot more money if they want/need one for their collection.
I'm pretty sure that your oil lamp burner is a conversion top for a mason jar because of the screw on the side of it you would put it on top of a mason jar and tighten a screw down to secure it and presto, instant oil lamp...
WOW !!!!! you guys had a stellar day. And congrats to your partner on the Silver dollar. I see he was hunting with an ACE. So I gotta do it like this... BAM !!! GARRETT ACE DETECTORS STRIKES AGAIN.
@@nuggetnoggin your spot on with that. My wife and I use the 300's and I can grant you we have no complaints at all. Take care Nuggett. great video , see you on the next.. and remember... Ephesians 6:13.. put on the HOLY ARMOUR OF GOD Daily
Oh how fun. I wish I still had access to my Grandmothers house. My mother found a cannon ball in the driveway after a rain and still had it when she died. God knows what you could find in a home like that.
That was a wonderful hunt Nugget, you have such a family friendly channel. I love how positives do caring you are. Maybe someday I will be able to meet you and you can teach a rookie how to be great at metal detecting 👍😊
You fellows really have found a cool dig. Don`t know what all was there, but I suspect it used to be a driveway for a carriage house, road house or tavern where people got out of their cars or carriages and spilled the coins they had in their pockets. The clean topsoil indicates there was fill dirt brought in from somewhere else. Your strikes indicate there was about 6 inches to 1 foot of clean topsoil spread out for a lawn. The soil covered up those artifacts that were already there and maybe imported more goodies.
Excellent video. 1907 is the most common IHP year so if you find two of the same year it will probably be that one. Still a cool find. 1921 Peace dollar, key date, that was awesome!
Thank you so much for watching! Give me a Thumbs Up if you want to see more videos of Metal Detecting Old House Sites! 👍
Of all the metal detecting channels on UA-cam, you are the best. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences.

I wish I had as many wheat pennies as you. I have about 8 and one is from 1910. That's as good as mine gets.

Plus it was a major design change from the 1921 Morgan dollar.

6:38 Um.. did you just say 1921? One of the most amazing key dates of the peace dollar series worth around 140 bucks even in worn condition?!
That was exactly what I was asking and saying to!! Awesome rare Peace dollar!
I just commented that!! It’s worth a LOOOTTT
Not worth as much as the 1928 Peace dollar.

Yes We Did! The ACE 400 with that small 5x8" DD coil is killer on silver coins. Mainly because of the lower operating frequency.
