Really enjoy your videos. Especially your Bible verses. Hard to find someone with such Faith today. One of my favorites is from James, "To know the right thing yet not do it is a sin". Thank you and Bless you.
I started metal detecting solely because of you. You gave me inspiration and I love the Bible verses you give at the beginning of your videos it gave me something to look forward to doing with my family and for myself thank you.
You are close, the "stove lid" is a grate for the bottom of the firebox of a round wood stove. The square end would have stuck out through the side of the stove where you would put a grate shaker tool and shake the grate back and forth to encourage the ash to fall through the grate to an ash pan.
From watching and enjoying your videos, I am glad you post Scriptures, I can't believe how many of the historical sites out there that are forgotten. Thanks for sharing! God bless!
Nugget, I just want to say I have been with you since the beginning! and my dad really liked you too, he passed in November but he always watched your videos with me! :) God bless, I love you! and you inspired me to buy a metal detector.. :D
LivingWithSav I came close to losing my Mom last winter. I am sorry for your loss. 😢 I know your dad will be watching as you find treasure! And I hope it brings you peace when your out there hunting. I don't know what I would do without my Mom I know you probably hurting real bad. Keep praying and know that the true treasure is God and Jesus. 👍 We will always be here in the community if you need folks to talk to.
Thank you! :) I came close to losing my mother as well. my dad had brain cancer, and my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.. my dad fought though the cancer won.. he will always be in my prayers as well as your mom! 😢
Just think how many people actually have never seen the creek bed or the woods like this .... city bound and that’s where they are found ... love the country,,,, couple nice finds 👍🏻✌🏼
The large bottle with the band as the bottom that looks like it's full of chocolate milk is a medical bottle that looks like an IV bottle a very early one the metal band was to hold the bail so you can hang it from a stand
Such a simple idea for videos bit im so addicted to all of them. Its exciting to see what you will dig up. Even though you find a lot of the same iteam, phones, sunglasses ect... its still fun to tag along and see what is to be discovered
Very nice early site and cool recoveries. Gotta love those old bricks, they can be a load packing out but they look good in some small landscaping projects. God Bless!!!
I agree with Cindy, that rounded brass piece looks like a brass pestle. Too bad the mortar wasn't with it. Used for grinding things into powder. I've used Mortar and Pestle for years as a nurse to grind tablets into powder for patients who could not swallow pills! Enjoy your videos and verses! God Bless You!
The big thick nail looking thing (and since you said it was broken) looks like it might have been a Pin that would have been used to hook a cannon (or other item) to a horse for towing. Just my guess, but I have seen that same design before.
Your the man nugget..but you know this...you and chigg got me into it and it has saved my life.i was hurt in a motorcycle accident and it gets me out and moving Wich can be hard due to pain so the hunt keeps me goin longer than jst walking
The stove top it's not a stove top, it's the grate for a small pot belly stove, looks like you found a nice colonial site. The bigger brass piece looks like LARGE end to a ram rod, That's just a guess. God bless and Happy hunting
Hey Nugget, at 6:30 or so that chocolate milk...is not...it looks like old style IV fluids bottle to me. Old enough to recall seeing them. So I looked it up to confirm, found one on Google that looks identical. I wouldn’t drink that “milk” 😖
The “modern bullet” looks more like a modern arrow head to me. The solid brass piece looks like a pestle (the tool used to grind things in a mortar - like fresh herbs or to powder something like pills)
The questionable object looks like the top for a walking stick or a riding crop. They are usually more ornate. The bottom portion would have been wood.
How do you research the locations or is it just gut instinct, this looks good that looks good..and thanks for sharing you've been great inspiration for me to get out and do this.
You need to hit a old tavern site lets say one that was burned down by the british. and now you can do under water hunt hit up old Cowan's Ford its under the lake now.
Really enjoy your videos. Especially your Bible verses. Hard to find someone with such Faith today. One of my favorites is from James, "To know the right thing yet not do it is a sin". Thank you and Bless you.

The brass looks like part of a pestle.

Just think how many people actually have never seen the creek bed or the woods like this .... city bound and that’s where they are found ... love the country,,,, couple nice finds 👍🏻✌🏼

Been a fan for a long time. I miss your gold prospecting videos.
james mehegan that's. What I want to say with long videos at least 15min
I have appreciated your Videos for a long time. Thanks for cleaning up and representing the LORD!!!
Also the "stove top" thing looks like it has symbols all around the outside??? Looks like a "devil" head....
Any day watching a Nugget Noggin is a great day. Thanks for posting it.
The large bottle with the band as the bottom that looks like it's full of chocolate milk is a medical bottle that looks like an IV bottle a very early one the metal band was to hold the bail so you can hang it from a stand
Big round lid is a damper that goes in the flue pipe.
The hollow bullet shaped item is the tip to a wooden arrow. The wood shaft went in the hollow section.
No, it's a fishing weight.
Looks like a bullet weight for fishing. The old ones were more hollow and therefore more bendable than the ones now, which are more solid.
Nice finds Nugget - always enjoy your vids (wish they were longer though 😬)
Such a simple idea for videos bit im so addicted to all of them. Its exciting to see what you will dig up. Even though you find a lot of the same iteam, phones, sunglasses ect... its still fun to tag along and see what is to be discovered
Was that a tip to a sword scabbard? Nugget, I like the Bible verses, and I love your attitude and personality. Thanks!
That one brass item that looks like a handle appears to me to be more of a pestle for grinding
Very nice early site and cool recoveries. Gotta love those old bricks, they can be a load packing out but they look good in some small landscaping projects. God Bless!!!

Another great day out detecting...thanks for taking us out again..............Dig,Dig,Dig
An example of an early Colonial golf tee.
Thanks Nugget
Always good clean content on this. Thank you.
Could the brass piece be part of the rod used to pack the gun power in the rifle? Possibly the top of a straight cane?
Nugget more power to you! We love your videos here in Ireland.
The big thick nail looking thing (and since you said it was broken) looks like it might have been a Pin that would have been used to hook a cannon (or other item) to a horse for towing. Just my guess, but I have seen that same design before.
the round blunt brass piece is a part of a pestle from a mortar and pestle, broke in the middle
Part of a tamper for a musket..? Thanks for that! Well done. Rox
Thank you!
Man you sure can find the spots!!! Great video.
You're so good at finding stuff. I just find smashed toy cars and soda cans ha. Good stuff brother.

I would go back and get that old IV bottle! I see that others have told you what it is.
Good one!
I would have grabbed that brick. Unless it was to far to carry. Love the video.
Your the man nugget..but you know this...you and chigg got me into it and it has saved my life.i was hurt in a motorcycle accident and it gets me out and moving Wich can be hard due to pain so the hunt keeps me goin longer than jst walking

Beautiful scenery
I love what you do keep it up
The stove top it's not a stove top, it's the grate for a small pot belly stove, looks like you found a nice colonial site. The bigger brass piece looks like LARGE end to a ram rod, That's just a guess. God bless and Happy hunting
Think the brass piece is the handle end of a walking cane. Love the posts buddy keep em coming.
Did you ever recover the other magnet (on the long rope) you had left at that old ruin site?
at 2:05 it looks like a piece of at XVIII th century shoe buckle
I love you nuggetnoogin your such a happy person keep up through good work
Great hunt nuggett.... keep up the good work
The large brass piece is the handle to a pestle from a mortar and pestle
At 4:15 that is the end off of a ramrod for a musket.
Thank video nugget love these types of videos and the cool stuff that u find
Hey Nugget, at 6:30 or so that chocolate milk...is not...it looks like old style IV fluids bottle to me. Old enough to recall seeing them. So I looked it up to confirm, found one on Google that looks identical. I wouldn’t drink that “milk” 😖
Cool vid nugget I live in Nevada close to the old pony express route thinking I might go out one day when it cools and detect to see what I can find
4:12 maybe goes to a bell?
Thank you for another excellent video !
The brass piece looks like the pommel off of a parasol or perhaps a riding crop
The “modern bullet” looks more like a modern arrow head to me. The solid brass piece looks like a pestle (the tool used to grind things in a mortar - like fresh herbs or to powder something like pills)
thanks for sharing your videos
That brass piece. Looks like a Cane topper. The Conical piece... End for a powder horn?
It is a cone fishing wieght for making a carolina rig for a rubberworm
Good one Nugget.
I'm on the hunt for a scoop for river detecting , something to help with small pebbles , any suggestion ? Love you videos!
Beautiful video..makes me want more.
love to watch your videos !!
That pointy piece could be a tip from a bolo tie or leather lashing tip.
4:08 might be a mortar and pestle piece.
I was wondering if the broken thing with a rounded knob could be part of a horse bitt ?
6:50 thats a cool brick indeed
When I first saw the brass piece I thought it was a door lock button on a car.🤣
Could the brass piece possibly be a ball starter for a musket?
The questionable object looks like the top for a walking stick or a riding crop. They are usually more ornate. The bottom portion would have been wood.
all good finds, happy huntin'👍
A Suzuki samari that hasn't completely rotted away. What state are you in. Up here those lasted 10 years at best.
The little 2 fingered fork looking thing looks like the trigger spring on my 1858 Remington revolver.
How do you research the locations or is it just gut instinct, this looks good that looks good..and thanks for sharing you've been great inspiration for me to get out and do this.
5:00 I think thats the top land mine
That piece on the left of the buttons in your wrap up looks like it might be a "walking stick" topper.
Cool!
Love you're videos
You need to hit a old tavern site lets say one that was burned down by the british. and now you can do under water hunt hit up old Cowan's Ford its under the lake now.
I'm curios what do you do with all the stuff you find?
6:55 Some Poison Ivy hiding among the Virginia Creeper there. You are getting mighty close. Watch out now.
0:38 who saw the golf ball in the corner
Looks like the horse wipe knob the kind they used to walk around with
Great saves!
I like the saddle strap tie downs ☺
Could that brass piece be the top of an old walking cane? Great adventure as usual. Thank you for using this platform as a way to share the gospel.
Bryan Proctor I was thinking the top of a cane too.
Awesome
