Halo 5 wasn't as bad as other Halos on solo Legendary. Having AI teammates that couldn't fully die helped. You could literally just order the other three teammates to move ahead or be a distraction, even focus on a particular enemy while you hung back or flanked with a precision weapon and picked enemies off. The only big struggle I had with Halo 5 in Legendary was the final Warden fight where you have to fight 3 at the same time while laser turrets spawn in around the area. I don't remember if the turrets were on Normal or not. Just solo Legendary was bad enough for me that after like half an hour, I used an exploit that basically allows you to skip the entire fight. Once you beat the Warden, a set of stairs rise up to let you get to a higher platform to finish the level. But with some quick timing and using the Ground Pound ability, you could use some gravity lifts around the edges of the arena to get on top of some pillars and then get a sprint jump towards the ending platform. You have to be quick because the top of the pillars has a countdown timer before being 'out of bounds'. If you time a Ground Pound just right, you can hit the edge of the platform and clamber up. Then you just run forward and the game treats it like you beat the Warden and lets you finish the level. Head pops aren't hard on controller lol I feel like their aim just isn't the best. Alfredo in particular suffers hard when he can't use a mouse because he's so used to it lol
You think precision is hard on a controller? I got like a 12-kill streak in multiplayer with the gauss cannon because of it. It's not hard to hit a target. You just have to learn the differences between the two types of controls. With controllers it's like moving around a whip, you may not be able to target someone as fast as they can target you, but you tend not to miss when you get over top of them as a result, meaning you get used to things like enemies running past you and shooting them perfectly in the head. Head pops are pretty easy on controller.

But AH has always jumped back into games blindly after not playing them for years that's what most people do
How does a 4 inch dash and a hovering ground pound qualify as "so many extra movement mechanics"??
And if you think those 2 small things help much on legendary, then you have obviously never tried it my guy lol
@@iwatchtoomuchyt9281 I have played it bud that's the whole point...yeah sure it's only two mechanics but it opens new options that make the game much easier than they're making it. It's like playing Siege without leaning, sure it's not necessary but it makes it easier
Finally we got LASO again!
I don't think that Joe knows the concept of cover.
It makes me happy whenever a series on this channel succeeds.
God, all these grenades remind me of World at War on veteran.
Stop. I didn't need PTSD today.
7:15 real office vibes from that back and forth with joe and mikey lol. Like when jim was trash at cod
When Gav and Fredo go down they should just say Buck/Locke is down. The colors are too close when it's as hectic as it gets. Also, the constant walking into EASILY AVOIDABLE AND VISIBLE cluster nades was amazing. You can really tell they're using controllers by the lack of head pops.
Any engagement brought out extreme strafing that got themselves killed
High expectations that they even remember the character names in the chaos most of the time, much less remember who they are.
Head pops aren't hard on controller lol
I feel like their aim just isn't the best.
Legendary is hard enough, I dont envy you guys, good luck. Promethian weapons are the best - light rifle and binary rifle
Im happy that laso is back but it isnt the same without Jeremy, and halo 5 just isnt as good and nostalgic as all the other ones thay have done
Joe, why are you always out in the open instead of behind or next to cover?
I live how painful the first episode is. Painful for them delicious for us.
So glad laso is back. They really need to ground pound and run charge way more, it helps with basic enemies in groups a ton.
@22:08 "FUCK OUT OF THE...GOD DAMN YOU JOE....FUUUUCCCCK!" had me laughing for a good five minutes.
I fucking loved that 😂
@@Stonewalljax12 Alfredo in this is suffering the most and slipping the most because he's on controller.
@@Lord-Wheatabix oh uh hundred percent, plus dealing with rusher joe. Hopefully he learned in the second part usually the first is the roughest
Glad to see LASO making a return.
I remember later halo 5 being hell on just legendary. Good luck guys
Been awhile since I tuned into AH. I like Joe's energy. He's fun.
Joe taking from the book of lindsay, chapter 1 "failing on purpose"
Just like an Arnie movie. "EVERYBODY DOWN!"
59:00 "Push this!"
And push, that elite did.
holy cow, watching you guys brings back PTSD from my LASO. how the hell did we 100% this game!?
"Fireteam laso, the light is green"
Who would have known that this series would end exactly one year after it's premiere.
4:10 had some serious "B is not cover, B is grenade" vibes.
It's weird but growing up watching these dudes within their core group I always got excited when they mentioned a random Joe. Like I know it's stupid but I would think "wow that's what Gavin sounds like saying my name!" and then a weird lil rush of serotonin.
Watching this I've never been more ashamed to be a Joe 😂
*Inhales deeply* LASO ALAAAAAAAAAARM!!!!!
*RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING*
The first 40 minutes of this is the best television on UA-cam. Someone needs to do a down and death counter
Im not so much concerned about one warden as I am when you go against 4 at the same time.
It's only 3 for the final Warden fight. But what makes it worse is I think as part of the legendary difficulty, laser turrets start spawning in around the arena with each Warden you take down if I recall correctly.
Classic AH / Lets play really left a hole in my heart man. Growing up sucks.
Finally another LASO!
I'm so happy to have LSAO back! One of the best Series LP makes hands down!!!
This is awesome! So glad this is back
This is my favorite series!
Classic Gavin and his enemy names. Promethean Soldier = "Big One" and "A Man"
did not expect this. what a pleasent surprise!
Ah yes... the game where they overcompensated for the horrible Promethean Grenades in Halo 4 by making them a god tier weapon in Halo 5
woof... I can see why Halo 5 LASO took so long. this was rough to watch and even rougher for them to play. Still a fun video just damn I do not envy them doing this series
You guys remember when you watched laso the first time? Watch it again.
gavin’s shot at 1:25:02 was class
Oh the memories LASO is my top 3 favourite series!!
Bring back Jeremy
