  • If you want to make an easy survival bracelet that is easy to deploy, check this video out. Joel Graves of American Survival Co. shows you how to make a simple, easy-to-deploy paracord bracelet that offers 6' of paracord around your wrist. This bracelet leverages the speed hank knot (check out that tutorial on our UA-cam channel) and is a great EDC option for anyone. In a jam, paracord can be an essential tool for survival - it can be used to start fires, make fishing lures, build shelters, cut pipes and even break zip ties. (Didn't know all that? Consider checking out some of our classes where teach all those tricks and more... www.americansurvivalco.com).

I like this. I've been looking for some more hands on activities for kids to do while out doing woodcraft/bush craft forays. This is something they can show off! And serious kudos and respect to you and your service in the EOD world.

Oh man! I was wondering where your videos went. Found your show on Netflix, Snowflake Mountain! Get that money, you deserve it.

Enjoyed your paracord bracelet video. especially had you measured it to your wrist I've seen a lot of them and I've gotten some that fit most of them a little short 😂. Gingdah

Good stuff, especially that the bracelet deploys so quickly and without having to be unbraided. I’m new to this stuff, so maybe a dumb question, but should I replace my boot laces with paracord?

Thanks! I'd definitely recommend it, paracord has inner strands you can utilize that most regular laces do not have. You can also buy paracord boot laces, there's lots of options on Amazon and I'm sure you'll find them at major outdoor stores in your area.

I’d say the more the merrier! Most boot laces are a solid strand paracord has inner strands that can be broken down and used. There is a company we are fond of called titan cord. They even make some with fishing line and snare inner strands, Kevlar cord, even material that takes a spark easy for fire lighting.
