As a kid, I was happy to see as many T-rex movies as possible. The Carnosaur's end scene was cool. But Jurassic Park has no equal even today including its sequels.

Now from the Early 1990s to the Present Day of the 21st Century Dinosaurs are now better than ever Thanks to the Technology That brought Jurassic Park to life on the Big Screen. Plus, Jurassic Park was my 1st Dinosaur Film since I was 9 Months old. The Dinosaurs of Jurassic Park weren't scary. They were just doing what they did Millions of Years ago just as all other Living things Today AKA all other Animals Alive Today.
The novel had an interesting plot: cloned dinosaurs using chicken DNA and kept in a private zoo, owned by a megalomaniac millionare who wants to destroy the world by releasing the dinosaurs, acrros the globe.
_Super Mario Bros., Carnosaur, and Jurassic Park_ were all released within a month of each other in 1993 and _We’re Back! A Dinosaur Story_ was released later that year. If you were a dinosaur enthusiast then 1993 was your year.

Roger Corman's Carnosaur films will never be able to top Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park films (including Joe Johnston's Jurassic Park III (3) and Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World films). Jurassic Park is more believable with a mix of realistic animatronic and CGI-animated dinosaurs.
Nah! I’ll say both movies were amazing. "Jurassic Park" should’ve be a Rated-R movie. Because in the novel book, It got some brutal kills in it if you read it? It was pretty dark. I wish they follow the book even more, but I have to prefer "Carnosaur" because I thought it got some good practical effects, good kills in it and I do love the novel book too.

And JP is a large budget , realistic action adventure film , involving the absolute best creators , and cjtting edge tech of the time.. they are uncomparable in the best of circumstances , and a universe apart at worst. To call carnosaur even an "alternative" to jurassic park is so laughable and almost criminal... Jurassic park is THE greatest adventure action film of all time. Stand alone not even considering the 4 sequels and the much anticipated 5th installment. Carnosaur It represents what dinosaurs are, no funny brother sister feel to it...its just a dinosaur, it kills, it hunts and its brutal, and it represents a close up on how it would be if there would be dinosaurs out in the wild
Carnosaur is by far not for kids to see at all. Jurassic Park isn’t even a kids nor family friendly film either. Jurassic Park is far from family friendly. First of all it’s rated PG-13. And there are lots of gruesome moments and disturbing deaths that nearly got the film an R rating. Even the sequels upped the anti on the violence even more. Second the novel is much worse in tone. But regardless Jurassic Park is by no means a family friendly movie. Family friendly is more like the Incredibles. True Jurassic Park got toys for children but so did Alien, Predator, Terminator and Robocop. All which are R rated movies. But it was the 90’s and because kids at the time liked those movies, toy companies decided to make toys for kids based on those films. I remember the commercials and everything.

Jurassic Park is better as far as the visual effects. However, the tone of Carnosaur is more in line with the Michael Crichton's books.
