Me: terrified of spiders, also me: watched this whole video. I am both fascinated and horrified. Good job taking great care of your kinda furry fur child though. 10/10 on that new enclosure
Love our spider squad :) We had way too much fun with that! Btw, i told Mo he should have packed it in a Dark Den or Collective box but he didn't have one large enough. LOL
i have my adult Arizona Blonde in an IKEA cabinet turned on its side and she uses every bit - and it’s a great show piece! most people would never know she’s one of the most common species there is 😂
I rehoused my T Stirmi (Kumo) 16 months ago and when I used the catch bin (cup way too small) on her, she stridulated too. She's grown larger, now 10" leg span and I figured her enclosure was a bit ratty so went to rehouse her again. When I put the catch bin over her this time she reared right up in threat pose, and not wanting her to strike down with those 3/4" long fangs, I decided to leave her and wait and see if she starts looking uncomfortable in her enclosure. But she is a sweet girl.
Happy Late Birthday!!! Cool gift! Wow, we heard the hiss, and she's beautiful! Such an amazing enclosure. You definitely rocked that decor, and the little mushrooms make it perfect. We absolutely love your videos!!!
Kat You've went Above and beyond This is your Best Enclosure to Date. It's Super Roomy very generous and so Beautiful and Organic I Really Love this one Kat She's so worthy of her New much Bigger space Great Job Awesome Video
That hissing spider is going to have a great time with its enclosure. Good job building it that probably took a while building and decorating it since this is like a mansion but for a spider.
She’s a beauty! I thought about keeping a Chilean rose tarantula once upon a time since they are so overbred, but realized I’m not willing to deal with urticarial hairs or the anxiety with each molt. So I’ll stick to admiring others’ tarantulas.
I am not sure why this came up on my home page - I am a certified arachnophobe. But, I am hooked. I may never hold or touch one but I found this fascinating - and have discovered the beauty of these creatures! ( and Kat, you are adorable!)
Your terrarium for Zelda turned out great! I recently rehoused my giant t. stirmi, Meatball, into a twenty gallon bioactive terrarium and she hissed at me too! 🫨
I’ve never seen a tank that has a place to actually drain water out of the drainage layer. When I saw that I audibly said “thats so cool!!” Because I’d always wondered how people drained the water from the bottom of the tank, and it helps so much knowing that because I have a cobalt blue and her last tank before her rehouse grew mold in the bottom of the tank because of all the moisture (i also didn’t know how to set up a drainage layer at the time though, so this video is very helpful:) )
The new cage is looking fabulous and so is Zelda! This was a great video and I have been having such a great time watching your other videos……thank God there are many! I only have cats as pets, but I really enjoy watching your videos! Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to your next one!!! 😄💙🐬🫶🏻
A friend of mine had an enclosure that big for his T blondi. She had about the same color as the substrate. I once fed her. Damn, that was the biggest spider I ever have seen. I did not see it coming. It was like the entire substrate moved and grew legs ... and fangs.
I don't know anything about spiders or reptiles but it is interesting to see how such a little one can live in a cage. It is a very beautiful animal. I think the spider is very happy with the bigger house. Greetings from the Netherlands
Yayyy. I always look forward to your videos. I'm having my first go at spider keeping. I have 3 wolfies. A T. helluo and two T. annexa. One of my T. annexa just layed an egg sack 😳😆.
got me a jumping spood and it came with one of them build your own home which are very rubbish, so got me a tarantula cribs one with the roof and its so much better and easy to work with.
Hi Kat, great job on the new enclosure. I dread the time when my T Stirmi grows to large for her current enclosure. Must admit I have never heard mine "hiss" yet. But that's fine, don't think I will put my hand in to see if she will hiss if provoked lol. Gloves are great idea, the urticating hairs on my L Para were bad enough, but the Stirmi wins the prize 😊
I have an African fire skink and she was always uprooting some of her plants. I found some little cages for the plants so I decided to do a little experiment. I have them covering the base of the plant. They’re no longer being uprooted and are doing great. I don’t know if that might be of help to keeping the plants safe.
I have my 1 yr old corn snake in a 55GL, some people say it’s over kill but for me they can all mind their business 🙂↔️🫡 PetCo has a new aquatic tank going for $500, I just might be moving her into it soon! Zelda reminds me of a simpler time, getting lost playing OOT on my Nintendo 64 🥹
This spider is gorgeous and her scientific name is beautiful: theraposa blondi 🕷️I knew someone who had a spider like this one and her name was Zula 🕷️
I was just thinking won't it be cool if Zelda could talk like Aragog did in Harry Potter? I like Zelda new home it look beautiful good luck in finding her in that one, when it comes time to clean it lol
I am terrified of spiders ( I would never hurt them, only run away screaming from them xD ) and yet I can't help but watch spider content, fascinating little critters....Just don't want them in the same room as me!
I've been wondering how to get a big enough, secure enclosure for my T. stirmi... it's currently in the 12x12x12 cube.... looking forward to that enormous Crib for it.
Goddess! Zelda is beautiful and HUGE!!! curious have you ever thought when rehoming tarantulas to see up a camera to watch them get use to there new enclosure and to see them make a new burrow? as I would watch the shit out of a sped up version of that much love Kat from Australia
Hello from a aquarium hobbyist. I have tiny 1 cm long tarantulas I am taking care of for a friend. that size is managable, but watching this video: my instincts is going: that thing is going to crawl out my screen meanwhile my logics is observing my instincts: I'm going to have nightmares because of my instincts.
I am loving this - can you recommend other tarantulas that would be big enough for this enclosure? Thats not a bird eater - i am too chicken from their hairs lol
The ongoing rivalry between Richard and Tarantula Kat is the real backbone of the tarantula hobby.
Hahahahhaha u joking right?
@@bighashgang1990a lot of people are here for it, it’s a joke.
Me: terrified of spiders, also me: watched this whole video. I am both fascinated and horrified. Good job taking great care of your kinda furry fur child though. 10/10 on that new enclosure
I kept thinking "this is the biggest spider she has? I thought she had a Goliath" not realizing that this is the Goliath lol
any time she says "biggest spider" I know it's going to be Zelda lmao
Happy belated birthday, Kat! ❤ Gosh Theraphosa has been my dream genus since I was a teen! She's gorgeous! 😻
I didn’t expect to see you here but it’s nice to see another content creator on nature and one on ants.
Congrats to Zelda in her new home, she may not have been happy but her enclosure is awesome❤❤
Pretty sure you'd also love to be forced to live in a tiny box
Love our spider squad :) We had way too much fun with that! Btw, i told Mo he should have packed it in a Dark Den or Collective box but he didn't have one large enough. LOL
She reminds me of the dark dens "Linda"!! So beautiful!!!
You really do a great job Kat. I applaud your hard work in taking great care of these creatures!
i have my adult Arizona Blonde in an IKEA cabinet turned on its side and she uses every bit - and it’s a great show piece! most people would never know she’s one of the most common species there is 😂
My daughter is 3 and is STOKED that I started watching you. 😂 she's always asking to watch the spider show LMAO

You should get a pair of motorbike gauntlets, it covers your hands and fore arms, no itchy arms ! Love your program 😊❤
Nice setup Zelda has it made 🕸.
Happy belated birthday Kat! 🎉 That new enclosure is a perfect size for a t.stirmi!
Happy Late Birthday!!! Cool gift! Wow, we heard the hiss, and she's beautiful! Such an amazing enclosure. You definitely rocked that decor, and the little mushrooms make it perfect. We absolutely love your videos!!!

I bet stirmi are easier to hear hiss because they’re so big!! Who knows how many lil guys hiss too and we just don’t hear it 😂

That T Crib is awesome! Perfect for that beautiful spider. Great video as always.
Beautiful enclosure, a job very well done.
Oh my goodness! She’s huge!!

I thought having a baby Ometope jumping spider was FAFO, lol. That tarantula is MASSIVE!
Lots of burrowing room!
Awwww she is so sassy❤
Vertical is Up horizontal is side to side.
I kept it straight in my head growing up by remembering that the horizon is horizontal. ;)
Lol thanks!

No hate for Richard 😂🎉
I already knew it was about to go down when Kat put on her doctors gear🕷️

Happy belated birthday! 🎂
Nice kat
Loved it🎉🎉🎉 see everyone later🎉🎉❤😊
Hi Tarantula Kat 👋😁
I had Ace hardware build me a screen to go on top of a habitat. They did a great job.
My Mexican red knee would hiss at me when ever I tried to clean her tank R.I.P October ❤
I am terrified of spiders ( I would never hurt them, only run away screaming from them xD ) and yet I can't help but watch spider content, fascinating little critters....Just don't want them in the same room as me!
Zelda firey all.ready🎉🎉❤😮
Hi! I got my first gargoyle gecko a few weeks ago!
nice sz enclosure!..these days bigger the better
4:00 I can certainly see a hydro-ball crunching ASMR trend occurring in Instagram
I've been wondering how to get a big enough, secure enclosure for my T. stirmi... it's currently in the 12x12x12 cube.... looking forward to that enormous Crib for it.

I have an enclosure that's simular from tarantula cribs but it's sort of in between the two
Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Noooooo😨. I couldn't stay!
@3:58 "Umm... don't eat them!" 😂🥣😂🥣😂
Woa zelda😮😮😮😊😅
Lol forbidden maltesers.
I am loving this - can you recommend other tarantulas that would be big enough for this enclosure? Thats not a bird eater - i am too chicken from their hairs lol
Damn that's a big spider. You're probably not allowed to get this type of spider but there is a Tarantula in Australia that apparently 'whistles'.
She gorgeous ❤🎉
You must go through as many scissors as I do, I cut all kinds of forbidden things with them😂😂
