Absolutely love seeing these heavy wreckers wheeling with these cars built to wheel with the leaf springs and all I enjoy seeing how capable these rigs are with the right driver behind the wheel!
I can't believe that heavy wrecker drives as good as the nimble Jeeps, Toyota and Morvair even Rory's wrecker is light compared to yours Eric. Stay safe and we'll be watching.
I was introduced to Eric and Mara on Trailmater's Moab Cliffhanger recovery video. So this morning started by watching one of your 2016 recoveries with Baby seat cover (so cute), as she shewed away a bee, haha. I fast tracked to return to your 2022 Moab trip, and saw very capable Abby has quickly grown 6 years. Happy to see Abby has enjoyed her time with dad and mom's outings.
One thing about wheeling with that group, all kinds of recovery expertise lol. No matter where or how bad you get stuck or broke down someone in the group will get you out.
Damn! That is a steep grade entrance for Hell's Gate! Left us with a cliffhanger at the end. Can't wait to see the next episode. I love seeing the wrecker on this trail.
It’s to bad that Matt decided to become such UTube Diva! I liked him when he started…. But now…WHATEVER! Dropped him like a burnt out U-joint. Here’s to you guys keeping it real. A fan from Prairie du Chien. 👍👍❤️
Every UA-cam Channel I watch except maybr 2 or3...How cool is that .LOL.Looked like alot of Fun..Great Video...Oh I see Tucker got his Yota...Awesome...Cant wait to see the video of them giving it to him...
Great quality video! It's funny how in Colorado the rocks are slick and Utah they're like 80 grit sandpaper. You can be a hero in Utah. I rode out there 17 years in a row, I've seen a lot of changes. We used to ride the Porcupine trail until "somebody "decided it was too difficult for motorcycles. Lol! I love those rescue trucks!
I am so happy you and seat cover are going out west to hang out with Matt, Trail Mater, Robbie and Bleepin Jeep. What a great community. The Wrecker is out of its element but does great! Too many more trips out here you will need to re-gear!
It weird all these years watching your channel makes me miss my 76 dodge power wagon. I can watch Matt and all the others and not think of the 76. Don't know what it is about your videos. Almost every time I look at all my crawling rc trucks and think I need to sell them and find my 76 or something similar. Anyway y'all have fun and be safe.
I kept seeing water run down your windshield, and wondered where it was coming from. Then I see snow sliding off the back of the Morvair and figured it out 😎
Hey you gotta recover us from this cliffhanger you left us on waiting to see the video of hells gate (I know Abby dad joke lol) can't wait glad yall had a good time
Still can't believe i'm seeing the old wrecker licensed and driving on the road; i swear in an older video you guys said it would never be on the road. I also can't believe i've been subscribed long enough to remember when Baby Seat Cover WAS actually a baby :D
Definitely an awesome day to go wheeling it looked like!!! It definitely looks like a tone of fun for sure!! Awesome video and remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!
Over here in Scotland, my nightmare would be getting out driving into the countryside then finding myself crawling along in a crocodile of cars, as far as the eye can see, travelling at walking speed 😱 The curves I get to sweep through are left & right, not so much of the ups & downs so you'd be aware of that. Sitting in my armchair though, watching you guys doing it, is pure entertainment 👍
What is it is raining/slick on these trails, does that automatically mean they're all CLOSED ? For sure, because if you slicky-slide all over such trails it is a sheer drop. Epic Trails indeed, Cheers to all you plucky Rock Crawlers. :-)
If I may make a suggestion, you should get one of those gauges that registers the angle you are on for front to back and side to side and mount it between the defroster vents because when you mount the camera like this, your viewers would be able to always see the angle you are on at any given time. Where was all of the water coming from that kept running down the windshield?
Nice! Pretty cool to see you bring that thing west like you did this round. We've got some serious off-road places. Just like you guys have yours. And beautiful countryside. Just like you guys do. Just different. Moab isn't the only place you can play.. reminder, your on the door of the Rockies in Moab. (Mountains mean steep, and unpredictable). Good vid guys and seat covers!
Just amazing that you can go on all those up hills with a holley carb and not flood out. I can't drive on flat ground with a holley and not have it flood.
LONG TIME SUBSCRIBER HERE, I JUST HAVE A QUESTION, MAYBE I MISSED IT BUT WHY IS YOUR WIFE NICKNAMED SEAT COVER , THE LIL ONE BABY SEAT COVER. GLAD YOU MADE IT OUT TO THE EVENT. MY DURAMAX HAD THE UNFORTUNATE IT BROKEN CRANK AS WELL.
I have to say. Many people must of looked at that wrecker and said. "No Way thats going to make it ". Very impressive to take 9,000 lbs and way to big of a truck. Un trimmed and full framed. Up and down some of the obstacles. Great job. Also could be considered under powered for that much weight. Just guessing but thinking that truck isn't more than 400hp and maybe 450 pound feet of torque.
@2:02... I see Eric is wearing his "Anti-Crack Suspenders"! 😀😀 @2:29... is that Tucker's 'Yota?!? @8:06... that's STEEP AS FXXX!!! @11:27... "Old Thumper" makes the climb!
Would it be worth 4 linking the front of the wrecker and putting coil overs on it for a better ride quality for the Moab trips? Plus I wouldn’t think the front end has a lot of weight on it. Just a thought and thought I’d ask.
I think part of the problem is that you need it stiff for when it’s loaded with another vehicle. I’ve wondered if airbags would be good, but sometimes airbags let it roll to much if the air can go from one bag to the other.
idk if it dose but your rig has always sounded like the manifold has a leak or exhaust leak some where. Possibly the audio or just the sound of the rig.. love the content but js
I see Tucker's new 4 Runner that was in the Robby Layton Video.
Cool to see all these great UA-camrs together. Keep up the good work.
Yeah, thought the same after seeing it, Not sure what the yr mdl is though a $ amount on air bag replacements would make me cringe
Really looking forward to the reveal video. Tucker seems like a really nice guy.
@@glenharker4139 Reveal is up on Robbys channel as of today, its a 2016 mdl he said
I love how they've all collaborated in the past 6 months with the builds. It's great to see them all working together and the final product.
Nothing can beat the video where the 2 square body tow trucks went on that cliffhanger video, love that GMC tow truck!
Absolutely love seeing these heavy wreckers wheeling with these cars built to wheel with the leaf springs and all I enjoy seeing how capable these rigs are with the right driver behind the wheel!
My 3 favorite off road recovery vehicles in one video so awesome
has to be a huge confidence boost to try any obstacle out there having both you and rory along for the ride. looks like a blast.
Thanks Eric for another great video thanks again
So cool to see all my favorite channels!! MORR, Bleepin Jeep, BSF and Goat Off Road! Great video Eric!
Great camera work.. love seeing those wreckers climbing around with the natives.
I can't believe that heavy wrecker drives as good as the nimble Jeeps, Toyota and Morvair even Rory's wrecker is light compared to yours Eric. Stay safe and we'll be watching.
Man that's a cliffhanger. Cant wait too see hell's gate in the wrecker. Awesome videos been watching forever.

I notice tuckers truck sitting there there must be a reveal video comming soon. Keep up the good work and be safe everyone.
Maybe because Tucker is out wheeling his new toy and not editing videos for Matt.
It’s to bad that Matt decided to become such UTube Diva! I liked him when he started…. But now…WHATEVER!
Dropped him like a burnt out U-joint.
Here’s to you guys keeping it real.
A fan from Prairie du Chien.
👍👍❤️
Out with a lot of good people. It looks like a lot of fun.
It was great meeting you! You are a legend!!!! 🤩 I remember Joe showing me your videos 4 years ago!
Hope to wheel with you again! - Bug
I hope so too!
The quality of your videos is outstanding
wicked watching all my favs in one spot!!!
Yeah for sure!
Every UA-cam Channel I watch except maybr 2 or3...How cool is that .LOL.Looked like alot of Fun..Great Video...Oh I see Tucker got his Yota...Awesome...Cant wait to see the video of them giving it to him...
ole 350 keeping up like playtime with the sea of ls and big blocks!!!
Those views from Moab were amazing, thanks for the content.
Glad you guys made it!!!!!! "Best lil HOOKER in town!!!"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glad to see ya had fun, great video, and thanks for sharing.
Love this. All of these super built vehicles and the ol square body keeps gettin it done
That was a ton'o fun already. Most of my favorite recovery folks, all on the same vid. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great quality video! It's funny how in Colorado the rocks are slick and Utah they're like 80 grit sandpaper. You can be a hero in Utah.

Just love that square body, mine is a 1980 with a 402, great trucks*****
Looks like you guys had a good time. Stay safe and healthy guys and gals.
Does pretty well on the long steep climbs for a carbureted rig.
It weird all these years watching your channel makes me miss my 76 dodge power wagon. I can watch Matt and all the others and not think of the 76. Don't know what it is about your videos. Almost every time I look at all my crawling rc trucks and think I need to sell them and find my 76 or something similar. Anyway y'all have fun and be safe.
keep the clips coming
Great views man! Thanks for sharing them! Luv every one you put up👍🏼
My favorite off road wrecker for sure
It's cool to see Tuckers' new 4runner.
Love it. Basically a sock lifted Chevy on leaf springs. Goin we’re highly modified other vehicles go👍😎💪🏻
Good vidio nice driving
Great video***********I gotta move to Utah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I kept seeing water run down your windshield, and wondered where it was coming from. Then I see snow sliding off the back of the Morvair and figured it out 😎
Great video! Been following you guys for quite a while....glad you got there safe and had a good time!
Hey you gotta recover us from this cliffhanger you left us on waiting to see the video of hells gate (I know Abby dad joke lol) can't wait glad yall had a good time
What a dream, to find 2 awesome, capable wreckers on the same trail! Just hope nobody requires your help!
Eric I don't know if they're trying to find your limits or the big red monster's limits but keep showing them What you and your truck can do
Great job. Been a fan for a while, appreciate all the awesome new content you guys and gals have been putting out!
Still can't believe i'm seeing the old wrecker licensed and driving on the road; i swear in an older video you guys said it would never be on the road.
I also can't believe i've been subscribed long enough to remember when Baby Seat Cover WAS actually a baby :D
LOL my how things change
Definitely an awesome day to go wheeling it looked like!!! It definitely looks like a tone of fun for sure!! Awesome video and remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!
I bet you guys had a lot of fun at Moab
Over here in Scotland, my nightmare would be getting out driving into the countryside then finding myself crawling along in a crocodile of cars, as far as the eye can see, travelling at walking speed 😱

awesome trail
Awesome video
Another great trip, Youve followed trail mater ito some serious back country
Slick rock n snow...what could possibly go wrong....Long way from your home stompin grounds!
Impressive how well your truck climbs those rocks. Was that white rig Tucker's new ride?
Nice footage. Y’all go on some nice trails
Great footage. I can’t wait to hit Moab with the family someday.
It's kool how you have bonded with Rory (to help others) and that you call the kid 'seat cover' hahaha
What is it is raining/slick on these trails, does that automatically mean they're all CLOSED ?
For sure, because if you slicky-slide all over such trails it is a sheer drop.
Epic Trails indeed, Cheers to all you plucky Rock Crawlers.
:-)
I spy with my little eye….4:05 - 4:20 something bright white, any guesses?
Hell's gate, shmell's gate. We wanna see the wrecker on Escalator! 😉😂
If I may make a suggestion, you should get one of those gauges that registers the angle you are on for front to back and side to side and mount it between the defroster vents because when you mount the camera like this, your viewers would be able to always see the angle you are on at any given time. Where was all of the water coming from that kept running down the windshield?
Snow melting off the roof.
Very encourageable to go watch the rest of it on the other channels
nice ride
Yea Lizzie!
Matt with the off-duty shirt
Thanks Eric.
Where the heck was Matt parked that the Morvar has Snow on the roof ?
Mike M.
The wrecker had snow too, 3" the night before south end of Moab.
Holy crap. That's like straight down...
It's really cool to see the bsf wrecker do so well totally out of it's Midwest element but I would rather play in the tight trails and mud
nope, not quite, there was some snow but it sure did do well
Wonder who is in the stock white 4runner......Tucker? You guys need more 4runners in the group!
Yep, that's Tucker
Very cool!
Only truck missing was Laydons flatbed!
Just amazing that you can go on all those up hills with a holley carb and not flood out. I can't drive on flat ground with a holley and not have it flood.
Would love to join you guys on a trail run. Never done this type before
Is your jetting lean from elevation change. Sound like a sag off idle. Excuse me if it’s injected. Nice rig thank you for the video
It has had a stumble just off idle for a while, I haven't taken the time to tune the carb in years. I should do that someday.
Old CB slang for good looking female passenger
@@offroadrecoveryteam 🙂🙂 OH OK
Did I just see Tucker from MORRs new white Toyota, repaired & prepaired by Robby Layton's team?
Yes you did!
Try putting the camera on a flooring base that stays at flat view .not mounted to the vehicle , but stays strait up and down
👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have to say. Many people must of looked at that wrecker and said. "No Way thats going to make it ". Very impressive to take 9,000 lbs and way to big of a truck. Un trimmed and full framed. Just guessing but thinking that truck isn't more than 400hp and maybe 450 pound feet of torque.
Its beyond impressive even after all the rebuilds & repairs for a small block.
Been there, but why the water on the windshield going uphill?
Where alot of the trails in moab to narrow for the dulles of the wrecker?
With those steep trails will the engine oil not pump properly
@2:02... I see Eric is wearing his "Anti-Crack Suspenders"! 😀😀 @2:29... is that Tucker's 'Yota?!? @8:06... that's STEEP AS FXXX!!! @11:27... "Old Thumper" makes the climb!

guys going moahab at thanksgiving this year in ariibea big house all my family lot rooms
Where is the water on the windshield keep coming from?
Is there a water bucket on your roof. Or is that all the rain water dripping out of your pockets or what’s going on
snow melting
Stock rigs for the win
Who was in the white 4Runner ahead of you?
Tucker.
That was fun!! LOL!!
Awesome
Videos don't really show just how steep these are so get out on the trail.
Do you think your daughter Abby will ever Drive the Wrecker???
what carburator are you using?
idk if it dose but your rig has always sounded like the manifold has a leak or exhaust leak some where. Possibly the audio or just the sound of the rig.. love the content but js
He poked a hole in a header collector on a recovery earlier in the week.
Before that, it sounded sweet!!
i like baby seat cover
You found a naked red guy down there with bull horns sticking out the side of his head
👀👀💪💪🍺🍺👍👍
