Wow, I love Humvee, perfect capabilities and awesome vehicles!
Cheers!
From France
Wow! A story well told with great editing and post-production work. Thanks for all those trailers, truly built up the anticipation. Definitely worth the wait! Take care!
+AMAROLAS Thanks dude, we truly appreciate it!
This is AWESOME! Lots of people hate on anything with independent suspension, and the H1's I see out there are almost always pavement queens. Watching this and hearing that familiar V8 diesel idling brings back a flood of memories from training and overseas...
+AWDfreak welcome to the HumveeLife crew! There is something about that diesel engine and the noise inside the cab that you just gotta love.
1998 h1 good condition online 45k.....stock TJ 5k that leaves 40k for upgrades ..
when the US Military starts using Jeeps, then we'll care.
HumveeLife ummm what ?
HumveeLife ..willys jeep...
Looks like a ton of fun, and you all enjoyed yourselves! That’s what it’s about. 🤙. Keep drivin’! Great video!
Sweet videos! Glad I found this. I was in Moab in 1998 on a mountain bike. Best memories! A H1 would have been better.
How can someone disike this video? Amazing guys! Keep the H1 on the road! They are a piece of american history. Respect - from Brazil.
Carlos Bernardo xxx
Carlos Bernardo Probably from the H2's that were in the vid😭😭
Thats not h1 nor h2 thqt is humvee totaly those are different vehicles
I think the whole scene of them driving down the road with one of them crab walking got my dislike it's more like a ricer video corny
Calvin Cuaton these are h1s. Actual humvees are totally different. Only have 4wd and are stripped. No AC, radio etc. seats are pads on top of metal body.
Dude I just found this channel and I’m amazed! The Humvees and H1’s are my dream vehicles. Keep up the great work.
Dude! We're glad you found us! The HMMWV and H1 have always been our dream vehicles too! Working on the pre-production of the next project now!
I love how the driver of the lime green H1 made some of the obstacles look easy as pi!
he is gas so he has alot less weight in the front.
He's a 6.2 Naturally Aspirated Diesel, sounds different with the NA engines and the straight pipe.
@Patriot extraordinaire He's an extraordinary driver.
I knew right away he’s a 6.2 NA. Sounds exactly like my HMMWV.
too hot on the gas pedal..this guy will be the first to break some parts on his drivetrain. watch; Trail Mater channel..Rory is the Master of MOAB. he is skillful, smooth.
Great vid guys! We just visited Moab with our Sherp! We are definitely going back!!
It would be cool to see an h1 and a sherp that would be bad***

Ss
I saw an H2 in that H1 convoy! Great video, thanks for sharing it.
He was trying to be sneaky. Lol
There were 2 actually... A black one and a tan one
Awesome trail run, one of the best military vehicles on the planet I tried to find one years ago, got the next best truck on this planet.
Right on man!
That step to get up to the engine was sweet
Thanks for sharing!👍🏽👍🏽
Love the sound of those diesels. Had one in my 3/4 98 suburban. Wish I kept it.
They should re do 3/4 suburban
@@dimmacommunication they did but they were a real limited production vehicle. 2016-2019, I believe, and they weren't installed with diesel engines. I haven't ever seen one in person lol
@@ForgotteMemories101 They re did the 3/4 only for law enforcement 😥
What's the point of a huge SUV if it has almost the same weight carry as a ford fiesta ?
Vehicles like the suburban should carry at least, as a bare minimum , 2500 lbs . I've been 225lbs dressed , 5 of people like me and you already almost reached max capacity.
awsome vid guys! great editing ! i love the trucks btw keep it up
Lol i dream of making in a year the amount of money you have invested in your Hummers... but I friggin love it!!!! Keep the awesome videos coming!!!
Glad you love it dude!
Great video footage. Gotta love the lockers, get you everywhere!
Awesome job thnx for filming editing posting and sharing
+REAL4wd You know, eventually we're going to have to get you into one of these episodes!
Open top Humvee is getting dressed up for this years episode 👍🏻
Mark Tnx again for making those videos
REAL4wd Awesome!
I was in the British Infantry for 15 years and this is the most well and the men I used to be with 24/7 the places we use to go when we where deployed was unbelievable Afghanistan and Bosnia was the best places I ever did off roading or over landing as they say in the good old US of A. I will never forget them days boy we had some balls probably to big lads why many man lost their lives from falling off cliffs and into rivers. R.I.P
Y’all are a good bunch of dudes.
absolutely no articulation and the ability to go anywhere the driver has the balls to point it.
Tough trucks tough trails. I reckon only a Unimog could have matched that performance. Drivers have lots of experience. Very good!
Never haul anything with a super 'piece of' duty... lmao. Love the Hummers! Hope to afford one before I die. Lol
A guy that can't afford a HUMVEE commenting on superduty so he probably can't afford on of those either...
@@richfarfugnuven6308 he probably drives Prius.
I remember a decade ago these were somewhat affordable. Nowadays theyre like 70-100+k CAD. Crazy.
Same here in the US
Better than a jeep.
Love the Video. Awesome.
great video, I hope to get out to Moab myself someday.
+TheLC73&H3T we hope to see you there!
Really nice video
Thanks dude! You can see more from our second trip here: ua-cam.com/video/Y5fxEphuDY8/v-deo.html
Man I love the H1!!! I'd die for an Alpha!
Great to see all those H1s together off road. Awesome video, when does episode 2 air?
+gabester235 This month
Gabe Solms
will there be any 2019 Moab adventures
Plz keep moving the convey and complete each mission this video is great
Im a Jeep guy but this is awesome!! lol
+Zach Bartz Thanks dude! The town of Moab was always packed with Jeeps and we met a few Jeep people on the trails! Moab is heaven for all our toys!
AM General is a descendant of the company that made the original Jeep anyway.
Well done vid!
thanks dude!
awesome..... Nice team work!
I can’t imagine the long line of endless traffic with furious drivers behind all these hummers
Especially when we break down or pose for a selfie!
HumveeLife haha i Love that 😂
Awesome Humvees i love it!
Nice Video on the Humvee life
Number one vidio of hummers ive ever seen ps pls like
Thanks Dusty! We have plenty more!
@HumveeLife and how much does a common humvee weigh?
@@thetouringprepper8681 The H1 Wagon's stock GVR is 10,300lbs. I'd guess a bare bones HMMWV is probably 5,000 - 7,000 lbs and it depends on what has been added.
two ozzzie thumbs up guys
One 'Murica thumbs up back at ya!
Why didn't you drive from Houston, tx to Moav with your H1? is like moving a flat on the road...
What are those steel cabels going between the front of the hood and the lightbar?
They keep the aliens away.
Actually, they are limb risers. Aside from aliens they primarily help to lift branches and limbs away from the windshield.
Ah thanks, always wondered what those where for. Now i can stop lining my hats with tinfoil and get less branches on my windscreen at the same time!
My bucket list
At 9:34 does the 2nd red one have rear wheel steering? It was driving sideways but straight like a monster truck
Is this group have another trip coming other H1 owners can join??
Bright green humvee & yellow skull wheel humvee are only vehicles that brought their driver
Anyone see the guy with rear steering. Noice
Been wanting a H1 since i was 10, hopefully i can afford one before im to old to enjoy it..lol
Get a military one and duramax swap it. Best way to get one better than the original. ....
@@lt9690 but if you get a humvee then it only goes 55 MPH if you're lucky and that's kinda lame.
@@ffhjvbuydb78eb the duramax swap will fix that problem
@@ffhjvbuydb78eb nope, duramax swap makes it a completely different beast... not cheap though. Top speed of 90. ( took mine to 97) 400-500 +hp, insane torque, depending on your tune. Besides even 55, on a dirt road, is pretty darn challenging. Speaking from experience though. No regrets so far. Besides everyone and their dog has a jeep. Nothing against jeep though. They are definitely fun as well. But Humvees, well just like their old advertisements, like nothing else...
@truckers4 trump true. Cummings also bad ass swap. Duramax or Cummins, just different ways to do a a restomod. I was just more used to gm products. Had a 79 Camaro as my first car.
I noticed a lot of the Humvees had a tubular rock side rail do you know the brand?
I'm loving it
...you just had McDonald's didn't you.
Optimus Prime. searching Hummer always be careful of what other words are included. Subed, love the hummers and the trail.
Hummer H1 is a monster!!!!
I like how the wipers are on the top lol
Good stuff!!!
I love the lime green
We do too, it's our favorite...ssshhh, don't tell any of the other drivers.
nice guys...like a dream!!
+tomhmmwv Just wait till the other episodes, day 1 was limited on off roading due to the two break downs.
+HumveeLife oh yeah! I'm waiting!! :)
Hi Guys quick question what runs cooler a super charger or a turbo intercooler on the hummer? Im trying to work out how I can get my girl to run cooler alot cooler when driving through soft sand for long periods . Cheers for any advice.
Howdy! I would think a turbo will run your engine cooler since it's not "running the engine" like a supercharger would. I do know there are H1s and HMMWVs that have been supercharged successfully. Here's an article on supercharging the H1: www.flashoffroad.com/Diesel/supercharger/supercharge.html
An intercooler is probably the best way to help cool the engine. Rubberduck4x4 and Predator Motorsports make one for the H1, I believe they buy you a reduction of 70+ degrees in intake temps.
A small thing you can do: If you're going at slower speeds I'd suggest putting a couple radiator fans on the radiator stack. They will only cool at slower speeds. When the H1 or HMMWV go faster the fans actually don't get much air at all. Just add a toggle switch so you can turn the fan on and off when you're in Low Lock going slowly through elements, I'd say 20MPH or less they'd be effective.
Another is removing restrictions from your exhaust. The stock muffler is known to create a massive amount of heat build-up. Take it off and add a high-flow muffler (or no muffler if you don't mind the noise, I did it on my 6.5 NA, truck is very happy). The more your truck can breath, the happier it will be. Temp-wise just keep it around 190 if you can. 200 is fine, 210 is alright, 220 it's time to start thinking about slowing down. 230 and up for long periods of time is asking for trouble.
As a side note, when I did I road trip on the hottest day of the year (128 degrees F) from Long Beach to Houston, every stop we made I was finding a self-serve car wash to spray out the radiator from all the dust. I'm sure it cooled the engine as well, but I was more worried about the dust and sand (like you're driving in) building up and causing heat issues. Trip was great, no issues...except for very tired drivers.
Let us know what you do! I plan to supercharge my 6.5 NA in the next few years.
@@HumveeLifeUSA thanks guys for your help much appreciated, have great day looking forward to seeing some new videos
dang yall went on cliff hanger i dont have the guts to try that trail
I liked the video good job. Only thing is your channel isnt titled right I looked and looked but dont think I saw a single Humvee in this video. I saw a bunch of H1 hummers and even a station wagon called a H2 but no humvees well I am unsure about that one but I think that was just a dressed down H1.
Which body style of hummer do you guys find optimal for off-road?
Hummer H1 look so badass and so much fun to drive I can only imagine especially a military vehicle but they just can't do what a Land Cruiser can do.
Alot of 4x4 vehicles can outperform a Hummer in every way except for sheer power because of how big they are.
@@JeepJeep234 yeah right. No other vehicle even comes close
I’ve put 110K miles on my 1998 H1 wagon in AZ I put it thru snow, mud, sand, crawling, ice roads, even crossed a 5 foot deep river, never had to use my winch. The Land Cruiser would still be in the river.
I've noticed most of those hummers didn't make smoke , engines ?
6.5 NA, majority 6.5 TD, one P400 and a Duramax and one 6.2 NA.
Around 22 min was really questioning tire pressure choice.. but I don’t know anything bout H1
Then at 23 confirmation that lower psi still works
Nice video!
Thanks George! Love it!
Those Humvees are awesome.
Great video except for the over melodramatic narration...this is wheeling in Moab, not Seal Team 6 taking down Bin Laden.
That's why no one spoke Arabic! lol
Thanks for the review and for watching! Check out some of the non-narrated stuff!
I used to drive these for work. (not military). Awesome off road but the repair costs are crazy.
I just subscribed and I think I may have to unsubscribe before I get sucked into running out and buying one of these beasts. Awesome video
Rob Sibley right on! HMMWVs are great stocking stuffers and fit neatly under the Christmas tree! Welcome to HumveeLife Rob! -CJ
We have M38A1C 1961 model jeep my son says that it is Humvee of our grandpa era.
I don't own one but this is a great video almost hated when it went off...
Thanks Theron! Glad you enjoyed it!
I like when they hammer on the throttle and it won't even move.
Transfer dosent lock on hummers i notices all tires wont spin even
Howdy Eric! The stock Tcase has High Lock, High, Neutral, and Low Lock.
Awesome...!
offloading starts at the 12:00 mark
Did that say only 23 for the record? Doesn't seem like that many
Nice! I would love to have resto-mod one for a daily
Do it!
Why haul it when you could get it Street approved (yes I know it takes a long time to do it but it’s worth it if you don’t want to bring a lot of stuff along with you.
Also try driving these to calico ghost town on the hard paths not the easy ones.
This is so cool… I want an H1 BAD!!!!
Go get one!!!!
Did the H1s come with locking diffs?
I thought this was video game in the thumbnail I was like ooooooh! What’s the game I want it it has a hummer
Is there any 'wheeling here? 7 minutes in, going to look for a Jeep video so I can see some 'wheeling.
Good go away jeep boy
@@ap1hondaking Being a 'jeep boy' doesn't keep me from respecting the humvee (the only real hummer). I just came here thinking there'd be some 'wheeling. See ya honda boy.
How come I don't ever get invited to these events! I did get to go to a meet in oak ridge , it was called the hummer club but I went up a hill to fast and got cussed out never heard from them again
+Brady Stanga Hey Brady, we're not affiliated with them, but the Hummer Club Inc. (www.thehummerclubinc.com/) would be the group to look into that has set trips to Moab for Hummers. We did see a couple of H2s amidst all the H1s last year.
Brady Stanga what do you mean you went up a hill too fast lol
Lol 😂
Joseph DiGeorge right lol sounds a little odd
For me, Humvee is a dream from childhood, however, mainly military versions are available ( ok 30 000$), not to mention Alpha, which, as it appears, can cost up to $ 150,000 :( It flies sub and at least look at these beautiful machines because they are far beyond In addition, in Poland, to drive it, you must have driving license for trucks.
Damn These Dudes are next level 🤩👌
3 diff lock on humvee H1 as well?
what happened to the rest of the humvees and the H2?
We split into two groups. You can actually see one group in the distance on the day we went to the golden crack (episode 3).
9:35 crab walk h1? 😂😂
Do any of these have the stock 6.2 or 6.5?
Great video!
The green open top is a 6.2 NA. All the rest are 6.5 Turbo Diesels, one P400 (wrapped open top) and one 6.6L Duramax (black open top with yellow skulls on wheels...and stuffed animals everywhere). In season 2 there are two 6.2 NA trucks, one is a stock HMMWV.
HumveeLife awesome thanks! I definitely need one of these but people tell don’t waste my time unless it’s a 6.6 duramax. This clearly proves they are very capable without the duramax
how many diff lock dose hummer h1 have?
So you say you did 1231 miles in 21 h with a humvee on your back with stops? That's like 70-80m/hr average.
Are these H1s or humvees
why dont you use a M998 vheicle.
Estubo bueno el paseo en los Hummers mis respetos para esas Ramflas
Intro....act like they going into a war...lol😂😂😂😂
Are those humvees or hummer h1’s
it sucks they wont make any new ones with better MPG
Good god that red wagon and dark green wagon sound bonerific!!!
And the guy in the bright green 4dr/bed just doesn't give two fucks. He just goes up whatever he wants Awesome Lol
cute trailer your mall crawler.to Moab
H1 Hummer what engine with 6 gears 0 to 60mph under 8 seconds can there be swapped gas to truck is good in today's standards
'
hummers / humvees are very beautifully vehicles...
but why both H - H are not having 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights...
no wonder why men uses caps caps on the heads all the times
