I just got the chills from watching this. Mr. Nash just nailed his part. Crosby always sings like an angel and he has those very hard to cop middle harmonies. Gilmour does not get enough credit for his vocal abilities. It's his own fault for being such an amazing guitarist.

The resurgence of folk music in the late 60’s and early 70’s produced some of the most amazing and inspiring music ever recorded: Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor… they enriched us beyond belief. David Crosby, Steven Stills, and Graham Nash stand among this group as icons whose music will live on forever.

Even more amazing, this live performance of the flip-side of “Ohio”, the huge audience sat down, shut the heck up, and just listened to these three voices weave harmonies smoother than a pipe organ.
No one tried to insert themselves between vocals with annoying “whoops” and whistles, all trying to top each other, trying to make it about them and totally missing the song.
This is how moments like these should be.

I can't imagine what that must be like going out my front door and being shot at and bombed and coming home without the ones I love because they did not make it. In 2012 I was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. Mother earth bless her heart was getting ready to swallow me but I survived. So today I am grateful to those that fought for me and for the doctors and nurses and those that loved me when I could not love myself. But most of all I am grateful that I get another day to listen to these three fine men sing this beautiful song one more time. Life's good rock on

I love that when they sing in unison or in harmony no one voice dominates the others. While watching this, I was reminded of the two (I think) albums that Linda Ronstadt, Emmy Lou Harris, and Dolly Parton did as a trio. One voice always seemed to dominate (I'm sure you can guess which one!), and it got kind of irritating because all three of them possess wonderful voices. This song demonstrates the teamwork of three singers who understand how marvelous it is to hear such a harmonious blending of voices.

In 1970 I heard CSNY in concert - when they did their a cappella set, it Was that quiet. It was a large venue, full house, and you could have heard a pin drop. Unfortunately, subsequent CSN w/wout Y were never that quiet again - audience just ignoring the pleas of David and Graham to be quiet so they could hear each other and stay in pitch. This lovely performance was just stellar - thank you for posting it.

Very appropriate song for Memorial Day. Thank you to all who served, and bless you to all who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country and all of us.

Three performers who alone are amazing but together form a masterpiece! Saw CSN & CSNY numerous times. Also got to see Gilmour. Another amazing performance! It is a shame what has become of our musical history. CHILLS CHILLS CHILLS
