Hi Andy. Good rescue mission. How do the bumpers compare to the dji prop guards for weight are they lighter than the original prop guards or do they add weight ? Thanks
Ya know Andy, I was really rooting for you! what about a stick like a short bambo cane that sticks out front? couple of cable ties an light... lets see more rescue missions
how many things in your home have u hit? i just dont wanna feel like a noob lol with 6 seconds remaining ... he has done it, i was so scared ud snag and lose your avata 2
Exactly! I thought the same the first time I flew one a lot of years ago and it's the reason I use the odd 3rd configuration option with the throttle on the right stick. Having played Descent when I was a kid surely helped in the beginning
This video got me thinking and now I have an idea (please don’t steal, I’m planning to go for a patent) So it’s basically either gonna be made out of wood or some light metal like aluminium and it’s gonna be 2 long sticks (probably extendable so you can reach higher but also be able to store it) and those 2 sticks are gonna have shorter horizontal sticks between them so you can put it against a roof and climb up. I don’t know what to call it yet… I’ve been thinking climb to reach stick or a height helper… anyone any better ideas…??? 😂😂😂 Nah… jokes aside this was a good idea and seems to have work well enough and has been safer as a ladder 😅 Good job 👍
@@andykirby I didn’t scroll through the comments, it surprises me that I’m te first ladder comment lol 😂 I was afraid of heights to until i said f*ck it and went as apprentice with a construction company where I got to do roofing… now I’m soon gonna be climbing trees for a living… That changed quite quick lol
Shocked the battery came out, i just watched another Neo video and the guy was deliberately trashing it into walls at up to 50kmph and the battery stayed in....
An odd way to clear moss from the roof!
Well done
Great tunes and a good recovery, just a bit surprised the battery detached…
Surprised the battery withstood the hit too. If you just pinch a lithium ion battery to hard they can become volatile.
HUM,TRY TO USE THE SOFT STICK ON DRONE.AND THEN TAKE IN OUT?
(我的意思是,試試下次捆一根相對較軟的棍子在無人機上,然後用挑的,把它挑下來🤔)
Excellent Andy, great videos and love your happy spirit.
That was epic well done

May I ask what your rates are when flying indoors?
Cool flying man, may i know what rates are you using?
That was fun to watch

I couldn’t help but think of the Sikorsky Sky crane helicopter haha.
Great job Andy 👌🏼

Wow your house is so beautiful I love your interior room❤😅
Surprised the Neo battery flew out so easily.
So cool recovery
Banging tunes when you going to do a set
well done andy.
Interesting dipole in the tree....wonder what thats for lol
ive 3d printed my gurard for avata 2 and neo
I can't help but think these drones feel very much like flying a ship from the old Descent game.

@@doguigmc I always had throttle on my right mouse button, playing Decent. Or rear button on joystick.
Happy ending
Cool job magnets
You could have at least hook it around the Neo😅 Take you with me on the arcade crane grabber!
I would've wet myself if your Avata auto-landed on the roof! 😂 Great stuff.
Yeah I'd then have to get something else out to rescue them all 😂😂

Haha I was waiting for the ladder comments.😂 I don't have ladders and I hate heights beleive it or not!👍🏻😁

"Do not use this battery if it has been dropped." - Standard battery disclaimer. Haha.
Conclusion: Always buy a DJI Avata when you buy a DJI Neo.
can i suggests at magnet next time

Hey do you all still have an active discord? looking for a discord server where people can discuss ebike builds and strategies and all of that?
Now you shown us round there’s a few burglars wringing there hands out
You never fly "just one more pack" :)
use magnets next time?
We can all play Ghost Reckon in real life now 👻
That would suck to get the neo down, only to get the avata stuck there too 🤣
You have a lot of patience.
No comment on the exploding pagers and ICOM radios?? 😂😆
There's enough metal in most LiIon batteries for a strong magnet to work.....
It's lithium polymer unfortunately.
@@andykirby Yeah, it's mainly 18650's that have magnetic metal cases. Not pouch cells.
Good recovery job 👍
at this point just buy an air75 haha better handling and more fun
I have one 😁
Haha that’s fantastic
Did I just watched a video that could have been simply a guy using a ladder?
🩵👊😎
😅hi😊
😂😎 👏
lol 👍🏻🫡
😂💪
1:14 looks like one of those fairground crane grabbers that don’t grab. No teddy bear for you.
Haha! It does😂
