I don't comment on videos. Young man that Cadillac is a keeper. She's belongs to you and will take you anywhere in the United States 🇺🇸. Thumbs 👍
I just watched from beg to end! So neat! You are so fortunate to have grabbed that!
Iam so glad to see those old cars still around today it puts a smile on my face. 😊
Brian, the 63 is like an elegant lady. She doesn't change with age. I can't get over how smooth she runs and how quiet she is under the hood. Now she needs a set of dual exhaust, not aggressively loud, but just enough to give her some attitude.
You’ll regret those sliders, but you won’t regret the caddy. Nice car.
Great video and documentation of this cool car from find to the first road trip! I'm so glad this car was found by you, it couldn't be in better hands! Thanks for sharing the trip with us Lunar! Thanks for the tribute to Walter P. Chrysler!
Thank you man I appreciate it. There will be more video of the sleepy hollow cemetery later this week. It was full of great men of industry that built our country, but it was inspiring to stand in the greatness of Walter Chrysler. He created an automotive empire, all the way from humble beginnings, to when he ran Buick, and when he formed his own company. He inspired many generations of automotive enthusiast
That's a great find and a real man's car.
Nice to see a younger generation appreciate our beautiful classic American cars, From the baby boomer! years.
They just don’t make them like this anymore, and she was perfect from the factory
Thanks for the visit to Mr. Chrysler!
There will be a full video of the sleepy hollow cemetery and a tribute to Walter Chrysler at the end. He started his automotive career running Buick, it would be a totally different industry without him
@@LunarOutlawsGarage I look forward to it I did a paper on him my last year At college! Loved the video man !
Keep her going! You remind me of the days of my misspent youth buying, repairing, and driving a 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado.
Now that's a trunk. You don't even have to bend the stiffs to fit them in there.
🤣
Dude that was your barn find? WHAT AN ABSOLUTE SCORE. That Caddy is off the hook fine.
I really love that caddy. Man it is fun as heck to drive
Brian, you need to take those lower tail lights apart. 1963 was the only finned year where they didn't use the fin light for the brakes and turn signals, so all you have is the lower light.
The lower bulb is placed right behind the reflector so it can shine up and down. You are supposed to see red in the reverse light when you brake or use the directional. The clear red lens on the right side must be really dirty because I saw no red in the lower lens when you used the brake lights.
The left side was out completely so you had no brake light or turn signal there but I bet it is just as dirty as the right side.
They are filthy, and the sockets are in need of replacement
@@LunarOutlawsGarage They are very hard to see. I was very aware of that when I was driving my hearse.
@@LunarOutlawsGarage hiya Lunar-
I'm a bit late to the party, but I can tell you that when you repair your tail lights, replace the 1157 bulbs with 2257 bulbs... They're harder to find, but are at least three times as bright!
You can see in your eyes how much you lobe this car it went to the right home!
It is an absolutely awesome car
Stop by staten Island n drop that 63 to a 63 yr old man im waiten lol ill even give u a bus ticket back home . Enjoy brother thanks for the SHOW . I L ove at vehicle
Thanks Armand 🤘
The front end seemed to be riding really low. Bad shocks ? Very nice shape indeed and runs amazing.
The springs look a bit weak from age...
You should start a new channel "Road Trips in an Old Cadillac"
Lol I look forward to barn find hunting with her
I am certain that you will get a tremendous amount of enjoyment from your Cadillac. One of my most memorable vacations was in 2008 when I towed my Argosy travel trailer over 3,500 miles touring the states West of the Mississippi with my 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. It’s only hiccup was on the first day out when it’s newly replaced alternator burned out.
That sounds awesome. How was the ride smooth as glass?
Upstate New York is very cool.Would love to see the Caddy off the Belt Parkway at the Verrazano Bridge
Great video and great find with a nice story attached. It is great to see the younger generation that has an appreciation and passion of the great classic American luxury cars. This brought back fond memories on when I took my 1969 Eldorado (all original and 17 years old at the time I purchased it from an older lady in the '80s). Me and a friend and his family packed this car and trunk and we drove the '69 Eldorado from DC to Detroit, ran it on errands in Detroit and made it back with no major issues. It consumed some oil a bit and we added a half a quart of oil every 3rd fill-up going and coming back was mostly down hill so it did not burn much oil at all. It is truly a blast when you can take an automobile of yesteryear on a modern road trip. These cars love gas ⛽ 🐖 and they had a lot of low end torque too. Thanks for sharing man. This is so cool. 😎
BP
They really do enjoy gas, the trip took nearly 50ga lol. But they are truly time capsules and most of the ones I buy are so far gone that they have to be completely rebuilt. But this one was so original and in amazing shape. It a sounds like you had some fun road trips in your day. 🤘
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
bryan try some turtle wax power out odor x on the interior of the caddy to rid the smell , if it has a/c do it that way if not just run the blower at its lowest temp with all windows closed .....ive used it on some nasty cars and it kinda works well
I will have to give it a try she needs it 😅
@@LunarOutlawsGarage that should clean up nice. Are you going to keep it?
So cool
Thanks brother! This video has it all... good friends, slick caddy and castles.
🤙😁
We call White Castle burgers “ belly bombers “ in Jersey. I bet that car ride home had some stink to it lol
Lol we had to have the windows open the whole ride. Remember this thing came out of a pull barn four weeks ago. I try my best to get it clean but it needs a new carpet and a steam clean as well
I live 5 minutes from that gas station in the beginning. Bubie's!
Small world. There’s a chance we know each other than. 🤙
144 miles to White Castle, for a suitcase full of Sliders...
Everything was GREAT, until 142.5 miles back toward home... And then 😳.
Two and a half miles later, I got home... Thank God I've got a pressure washer... The front seat that I spent hours dilligently cleaning was unfortunately soiled.
Again, thank God I have a pressure washer.🤣
Lesson learned about White Castle.
You know I like Cadillacs and have own, drove, sold, stripped of power options, miles of color coated wire.
My '55 Nomad has power windows and power vent windows, power seat from a 60s something Cadillac.Back in oil crisis I could pick them up from "tow it out of here and it's yours " to $350.00.
Your '63 has a lot of history and if verified you have a gem on your hands and needs a board with all that information.
Things I would do to this gorgeous gracious lady. # 1 Lower that rear stance instead of showing all the world her under pinings. Throw some weight in the trunk to see the look. A tri-five rear end fits in the trunk. #2 Tint all the side glass-back glass. Will help keeping the interior cooler since no A/C and plus it just looks cooler. #3 36" glass packs. Watch a YT video or take it and have the leather cleaned and restored. Believe me it pays to hire the job out. #4 Paint it white with white pearl top. That's what I'd do , did to my '65 Coupe Deville . You do you.
Nice car, and a fun trip
i love this.
😁🤙
Walter P Chrysler 👏I have a ‘58 Dodge
It looks like a 2 speed Powerglide!
white caddy goes to white castle , awesome
Heck ya man
Awesome video 👍👍
Thanks mmonty
You've made some good video's Brian. This is one of your best ! I'm starting to see why this car is special . Cheech
Thank you man that means a heck of a lot 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Nice car.
Great video! Love Love Love Old Caddy's! You got that one looking really good, however, I think you need to do some work on the Brake and Tailights! I only saw the one on the passenger side working...all others were dark!!! But all in all, Loved the camera work watching it cruise the highways once again!!!!
Thanks Gary ya it had a lot of bad light bulbs throughout the car. I am going to pass it dow to my daughter when she is old enough so I will install seat belts and disk breaks. Safety stuff only.
Keep it on the road, drive it often.
Sweet sled! Do you have to run fuel additives to emulate leaded gas in this or were the heads rebuilt ar some point?
Yes. It is all original so additives are a must
Hell ya brother
I used to buy those White Castle burgers from the one in the Bronx. Send me straight to the shitter 😆 🤣
lol
you went full on suite case
Will have to watch the following day as I will be in bed
I hope you enjoy it
What did you ever do with the 1963 Cadillac? I haven't heard anything about it lately.
I drive it about once a week
we called them murder burgers
Unnecessary awful “music”.
Though I absolutely appreciate your feedback, I feel it necessary to point out that your opinion of music is different than someone else’s. Also, I only have a very small selection of music that I can choose from without demonetizing the video. I also really love constructive criticism, but I would put this as unhelpful criticism, but thank you for your time. I do appreciate that you did take some effort out of your day.
