This perfectly describes my college friendships from 15 years ago. We grew, changed, moved around the world, and started families, but the lessons I learned in those friendships have helped me in marriage and in new friendships today. Perfectly relatable, Julianne!
Ich habe Euch gerade im Fernsehen beim ARD-Morgenmagazin gesehen und bin von eurer Musik total begeistert. I just saw you on TV at the ARD morning show and I'm totally blown away by your music.
I just shared this with one of my very best longtime Forever Friends. She loved it with the comment on the talent of the Band with, "They have this strange calming effect on me." Yes. Thank you Petersen Band
Beautiful voice, beautiful music, an excellent group. How wonderful it is that we can travel the world through the internet and discover beautiful songs sung by talented individuals. Receive my warm greetings from Brazil!
There are such beautiful songs that I listen to over and over again and I keep liking them more. this is one of these songs. Congrats Julianne and great job guys, lovely vocal accompaniment from Katie. The Petersens, I'm glad you exist!

This is the second time I've heard this song, and it's such a wonderful, quiet and upbeat ode to friendship and sisterhood. I'm so glad the full band has added it to the repertoire. And congratulations to Julianne for such a cool greening of your songwriting talent. May there be tons more songs!
So glad she's continuing to write songs. The pleasant nature of her voice goes so well with that touch of melancholy that elevates the music from nice to beautiful.

Bravo Julianne, Katie and all ya’ll! Hugs, Michael Albuquerque NM USA PS I am a recovering New Yorker and I know “all ya’ll” is really a thing!!!
When I first heard "Beatrice" I immediately thought that this song was the most suitable to be played with the whole band. But I hope there will be more. This "friendship waltz" is really something unique and very sweet to listen to in all the musical production of the last period. All three versions I've heard so far do full justice to the beauty of the words. Including this bluegrass version that accompanies Julianne and Katie's vocals perfectly. I have always thought that you are all great songwriters and this is the confirmation! Thank you!!! 🙏🏼❤
@@emmajo1925 Thanks Emma! I just read your comment and I absolutely loved it. My comments tend to be a bit "technical" at times, but yours has fully captured the poetry of this song. I hope Julianne reads and enjoys it!
Congratulations Ellen.. The "Silly Girls" are now beautiful women. Julianne this shows how your confidence as a lyricist has grown. Totally adorable the song & The Petersens Girls too. Philip x
Just brilliant! Your songs and dynamic sends shivers down my spine. Beauty and harmony are leaving this world at a rampant pace, but there are still people like you who are keeping the flame of hope alive.
This was just wonderful. If I hadn’t read the title before listening I’d have assumed it was some old standard that I’d never heard before. Congrats on creating something beautiful above and beyond the usual
A few days ago i listened to this song on Julianne's channel with the piano accompaniment and now what a great surprise! Wonderful arrangement-the song sounds so harmoniously with all the instruments. Great job!!!👍👍👍
Oh this is precious! I admire how you and your friend, Katie, captured the essences of real girl friendships in such sweet words and wrote the perfect tune to accent them! I feel like the stringed version of this song is more youthful. As I listen, I picture two innocent little girls waltzing together carelessly through a meadow then rolling down the hill in giggles to fall in a pile at the bottom, where they take a look at one another and, for the first time, recognize the blessing they are looking at. The piano version has a little bit more of a reflective undertone to it… it feels more like two young women, who have grown up together, are taking a moment to dwell on how much their lives have changed and how they have stood strong in their friendship to this point, and are ready and thankful to be able to do the same in the coming stage of life. Both versions of “Silly Girls” are good for different times of life, and I am so happy the band covered it for that reason! It is a wonderful song, Julianne, and thank you for sharing it with the world! Good bless! ❤😊
Great comment again, Emma. With your imagination you should try writing a song yourself.😉 (maybe you already have). But yes, it's funny how the same words can be felt differently when the arrangement/instruments change.
@@FrankvdMuijsenberg thank you! I love to write and play and sing, so the Petersens are a huge inspiration for me! Really beautiful guys. Julianne, such a wonderfully written and crafted song. So much substance in your writing. Everyone sounded great. What a lovely distraction for a few minutes. Well, more than a few minutes as it will I'm sure be in our heads for some time. Be safe and well y'all! Ellen, keeping you in thoughts and prayers. Keep yourself well.
The song was great (and peaceful). But I must say I really loved the background to this video. The cutout in the forest just made for a comforting environment for the band. The girls' dresses are beautiful. And of course, the singing is too. 🙂

Linking arms through strangers and streets
I won't demand your unanswered questions
All of your silence makes sense to me
I'll give you my coat, my cash and my chapstick
I'll write you a note with nothing to say
Secrets we share, braiding your hair
Saying goodnight at the end of the day
I understand you'll make new plans

When love comes to take your breath
I'll store mine in a jar
To give to you, grow pink with you

Making you tea with two creams and sugar
Hanging your drawings up on the fridge
Seeing your beauty and mine right beside it
Isn't it funny, I'm glad you exist
