Why do I never get tired of hearing the Petersens' music? Answer: Great musicianship, great harmonies, and showmanship. You really can't ask for more.
"Sherwood" is a beautiful song by Katie. It is a joy to listen to being performed.
Katie: I wanted to first read the lyrics of the song before listening to and imagining the melody. But when listening to the song I was amazed by your creativity. Sherwood is very beautiful. You and your family are great musicians. I admire all of you.
This song is splendid. I think it relates to what many people must feel when looking for their life long love. It embodies a total commitment to one another, come what may. Whatever happens in this life, sink or swim, you do it together. Sadly, this level of commitment is becoming the exception rather than the rule. I feel so blessed to be at 24 years and counting with my bride. It has not always been easy, but the trials have refined us and made us stronger. For those still looking, remain true to the Lord and know that He will provide.
Katie you hit a home run in the writing of this song. I "sure would" enjoy hearing some more of your compositions. Keep up the great work. 😁

I always enjoy how Katie starts bobbing her head and swaying when the music starts like she's letting the music and moment overtake her. And I imagine it must be 1000x more special when it's her own music and lyrics that she's feeling in the song. Well done!

I was fortunate enough to watch you guys perform in London, September 2023, just a few weeks back. You performed this song 'live'...I think it had only been released a few days beforehand so i guess i was one of first few to hear it.. Absolutely brilliant. Great job..Huge fan....I have even looked at holidaying in the Branson area for sometime later in 2024 so i might even get to see perform in your home town..🤞(you have a committed fan base! lol)...😊 Edit, album very good by the way..31 joyful minutes.. Congrats on its release...
absolutely loved the background for this video, not only the beautiful forest but also the noise. Hearing all the bugs/critters in the background has to be my favorite part of these live videos. It makes the music even more enjoyable

When you sang abut Sherwood I sure would, I almost fell out of my chair (and not just because I’m 70) lol.
