We have finally reached the finale of one of most beloved Flash series of all time, Henry Stickmin! I thought it would be fun to peel back the layers of the Henry Stickmin Collection, seeking out references, callbacks, secrets, easter eggs and more!
These games are JAM packed with references. So it's no small task!

I'm not sure what that mention about code filenames is about? If it's a symbol name then you should know I name my symbols a lot of garbage. If it's code then it was written by Forte who isn't involved with the story or characters really. My quick instinct makes me think that bull is short for bullet because I am lazy.

One little joke that I like is while henry is running on the solar panel, if you pick “fire missile” the fail text has long instructions on how to use the missile, and this gets acknowledged when you let the timer run out, which the fail text says “You don't have time to read the instruction manual for that suit!”
That is a really clever tie-together! I was too busy looking for specific references that I missed that little internal joke. Great catch!

For the "teal vs. cyan" among us debate, cyan is the official name for it. You can see the color is cyan in the information in the medbay scan, and also on vitals.

Okay, for one, so glad we're getting to my favorite ending in all of Henry Stickmin, Master Bounty Hunter. Two, and this comes directly from Puffballs' Developer Commentary, the Under Barrel Grenade Launcher seen in the Armory is a reference to 2018's Aquaman. Puff noted that, at the beginning of the movie, there's a grenade launcher seen in a submarine, and the fail text, "Who brings a grenade launcher onto a space station?" is exactly what he thought when he saw that scene; just replace space station with submarine.

The melt ray melting itself is a reference to Duck Dodgers' Disintegrating Pistol disintegrating itself.
You glanced around this, but didn't mention it directly - Mr. Macbeth's fight song "Tickets, Please!" is nearly identical in structure and instrumentation to "Metal Crusher" from Undertale, with the melody being swapped out for an expansion on the Toppat Theme.

Two things I noticed:
-Henry's option to pick the lock uses a paperclip which is a reference to Fallout.
-The Mr. MacBeth fight could be seen as a callback to the fight with the Right Hand Man back in Infiltrating the Airship which also includes a detailed reference to two other RPGs.
Not trying to be that guy (an asshole) But in fallout, the lockpicking items are Bobby pins, not paperclips
Narwini and Erectus are indeed from Age of Empires 1. Units speak non-senses like these when you give them orders. Also the reason why Gastro is wanted is likely because the government is not aware he's locked at the Wall since you don't free him in that Fleeing the Complex route.

The MacBeth fight is most likely a reference to Mettaton’s battle.
The music has a giant similarity to Metal Crusher, Mettaton’s original battle theme
Equipping the Mirror, turning your soul Cyan is much like pressing the Yellow button, turning your SOUL yellow
A bunch of unavoidable attacks are also in Mettaton’s battle
I'm pretty sure that Macbeth theme is based on mettaton's theme
I gotta say the music in this game is amazing, it can match any moment perfectly, the names of the songs are great too.

Henry's Helmet visor cracking, but not shattering may also be a reference to whenever fellow spacesuit clad character, Olimar, is hit by a powerful attack, as his helmet gets cracked in a similar fashion to Henry's breaking.

19:07 Mr. Macbeth saying “I didn’t ‘spect to have to use this” is another quote from the Star Fox 64 character. Specifically, it’s what he says when the boss fight in that game starts. Fitting, since Mr. Macbeth says this before he and Henry get into a boss fight.
Regarding the Age of Empires "Convert" reference, I can confirm that "Narwini" and "Erectus" also come from that game. They're words that certain units can say when they are selected or commanded to do something by the player. Quite fitting that that's basically what's done with them in this scene: They join Henry's side, ergo being selected, and then are told to "stand guard" at the door.
19:07 "Didn't 'spect I'd have to use this" is yet another quote directly ripped from the Macbeth train driver when revealing the boss.
