Valiant Hero Extended Ending | a fan-made Henry Stickmin animation

- this project has been in the works for around 4 weeks total. it started when ockeroid, the talented artist who composed some of the music for THSC, released his end of the OSTs publicly, some of which were newly made extended versions of existing songs. i started scrolling through the comments, and someone put a timestamp to the extended “Valiant Hero'' track, stating that the horns that follow the shortened versions ending not only was the government theme for the games (which i hadnt noticed at first), but they said that that part sounded like it was some sort of funeral scene. after reading this, my gears started turning. fast.
this still was a really fun project to work on. i had a little bit of a break in the middle of its production, but i still think i did very well in terms of time from start to finish (less than a month).
finally, special thanks to ockeroid for helping with the game and then making extended versions of some of the songs. this was a great gift to get and you killed every track. and thank you to puffballs for creating a series of games with some of the best characters ive ever seen on screen, im excited for what you and the other members at innersloth continue to make

This is actually really sad. Seeing Henry losing a person who was like a brother to him. Henry had so many memories with Charles and just to see him actually die for Henry was one of the greatest sacrifices and one of the greatest plans ever. Charles will be and will always be missed. He was one of the most true heroes.

This makes the ending even more depressing than it already was. It adds to the story and how honored Henry was to be Charles’ friend. We all love Charles and he will be missed.

Actually, Henry pretty much lost it at the 1:10 mark.
Why you want to flood your house?
You can't do that because your house is big and your tear is small.
This literally made me cry. You can feel Henry’s immense sorrow as he breaks down into tears at Charle’s grave, and the flashbacks of all the good memories they had. It was executed too well.
Also the animation legit looks like the real thing. This is too good for this world.

It's not often that things on the internet make me cry, but this legitimately did it for me. Henry's emotions capture the pain of loss so excellently.

I'm honored to say that I'm the person who made the comment which inspired this animation.
That being said, I'm honest to god AMAZED by the work and effort put into this. Watching this felt as if it were actually a scene in the game, and I can't even begin to describe how much emotion I felt all throughout. Not to say it wasn't impactful at all, but I think the ending would've held so much more weight if this was how it ended. All in all, it's amazing how far one person's vision can take somebody, and I'm way more than happy to have been the key inspiration behind this lovely work of art, even if I never knew until now.

I will always cry when watching this ending animation. Even if just thinking about thinking about it wasn't the thing that triggered it, I will pop up the animation and sob. His stories he shared with us all, the memories, the laughter. It was heartbreaking just to see him make such a sacrifice. It makes me question my person, it makes me wonder, was it worth it to play and watch lets plays and stuff on this, just to see him die? Was the pain worth it? was any of it worth it? He will always be alive and say silly things in our hearts, but the feeling that he isn't with us anymore just--- it just does it for me. Seeing Henry Die in Revenged wasn't half as bad as what it was to see Charles die on that ship. It was so uplifting and funny throughout the normal part, but to see him pass clouded over all that. My stomach starts to squeeze up and My eyes start to water. It was even more heartbreaking to watch the other UA-camrs like GT live and 2 left thumbs react to this. But we are all in this together. It isn't just one of us that's sad. I'm sorry to anybody who figured this out through UA-cam as this just makes me feel down.But to answer that question about if it was worth it, I'd say it was the greatest plan.

But it is okay to cry every now and then. If you're sad there is no reason to hide the tears, that isn't good for you. Crying is a good thing.

Gosh!!!!! The quality of this animation!! It’s so faithful yet so good!! And the storytelling! Off-screen friendship being shown! Holy moly this is so good! How Henry couldn’t bring himself to attend the military funeral but had a private emotional moment later on! I had to salute with him!

I am still believe that Charles captured one of escape pods and snatched in the last second before exploding. And imagine how Henry in his own continuously story while being trapped thinks thats all for him but suddently hears the "greatest-plan-fanfars" and seeing the falling from the inner space escape pod with Charles in.

god I love how sad this is...generally its hard for me to be connected to things and cry, but when you have this funny, great personality-given character, go through a lot with you, which ever "timeline" you technically have either way, and then hit me with an ending like the original or THIS!?!?!?
