- Today, I’m going to discuss my PERSONAL favorite indie games of all time and these can double as the recommendations I give! and don’t forget to turn on your notifications and comment which are your favorites!

Thank you! ☺️ I get a bit self conscious sometimes because I’m a pretty timid person and not a great public speaker lol so I do try to treat this as a conversation I’m having with all of yall :)
To be clear, Undertale was designed by one person, not developed. Temmie Chang, Magnolia Porter, Gigi D.G., and other very talented people came together to make it. It was Toby’s vision, but he couldn’t have done it without his team. It’s also my favorite game of all time and probably will be for a very long time.

I’m actually very glad Hollow Knight wasn’t on the list. It may be a great game. I’m just SO tired of its popularity. There are plenty of other indie games out there. I opened this video thinking to myself. Let me guess, number one will be Hollow Knight…. Holy cow!
lol I did love hollow knight and the metroidvania genre but with soooo many options out there it was hard to place it above the rest of these others that I personally love

nice list! i recommend you playing outer wilds, its really really good and published by the same people as neon white
It’s been on my radar but haven’t gave it a chance yet! I’ll have to carve out some time to try it 😄
Outer Wilds, The Messenger, Katana Zero, and Inscryption are the four horsemen of astounding games that are heavily underappreciated

Been playing Sanabi and I’m loving it.
I really enjoyed it but I think I may have to explore it again since I didn’t end up finishing it

I saw that you put Inscryption in the intro, so I’d like to ask if you’ve played it. also, have you played The Messenger or Katana Zero? they’re also incredibly games that are criminally underrated
I did! But I actually didn’t finish it, the amount I did play I did really enjoy though and when I do return to it I can see it being in my top 15-20 for sure. I played the messenger, I did enjoy it but just not as much as these.

Indie games you should play :
Everhood
The void rains upon her heart (litteraly the most underrated game of all time no debates)
Idk if you played it but hollow knight, and if you have, 112% it dont just do the main story youll miss out on the all the great stuff
Katana zero
Hyper light drifter
Blasphemous 1&2 (i prefer the second one)
I’ve definitely played hollow knight and the blasphemous game! Void rains seems intriguing I’ll for sure check it out 😄

Hollow knight should’ve been on the list at least for me personally
Similar to terraria, this is like top 15 for me but with soooo many options it’s so hard to narrow it down to just 10 lol
If you want some suggestions that aren't in your list I would add Hollow Knight as other people mentioned, the Binding of Isaac (if you like roguelikes it's literally the blueprint), Ori 1 and 2 for their incredible ambience, both Little Nightmares games for their peculiar atmosphere (also the third game is coming soon), and Shovel Knight as I played it entirely recently and just really had a blast with it

I’ve played hollow knight and shovel knight, loved both! Just not enough room in a top 10 for every banger title 🥹

Thats not really an indie game since ubisoft bought the IP but its my favorite platformer of all time by a long shot
@@Duskull666 Ubisoft created Rayman, they didn’t need to buy it. It was never an indie game.
Good list but where’s terraria man it’s defined one of the top 30 video games of all time and I think it should atleast be top 9 in indie games.
But I mean that’s just my worthless opinion the tier list is very good.
There’s just toooo many amazing games lol terraria is definitely top 15-20 for me but these were too close

From what I recall I did really enjoy it but that’s one I’m probably going to have to revisit soon 🤔
