I was there! Man bring back good memoris! And this summer im going back to Ullevi stadium to see them again! Up the irons from sweden!!!
Sends chills up your spine just listening to the crowd- amazing stuff from the world's greatest ever band.
The consert in Globen was amazing :) To be on a maiden consert is one of the best thing u can do!! Love them!!!

Lol, you're right, they're not being updated live but just look at how many people went. Sweden have a big Iron Maiden fan base so and as such, you can estimate a number on how many fans would be watching. As such, i don't understand what you mean by "those countries".

Scandinavian countries generally show a lot more rock and metal because they have so many bands themselves.

That doesn't mean that they're updating Bruce in the middle of the concert how many people are watching. Let's face it, most of the people in those countries wouldn't be sitting in front of the TV, watching Maiden. And that's _not_ a bad thing.
I understand people are protective of their favourite performers - I am too and I've loved Maiden for 10 years now. But I think we can still remain at least somewhat objective and you don't have agree 100% with everything they do/say.

By "those countries" I meant where the concert is televised.
I have no doubt that there's a huge fan base in Sweden and the other Scandinavian countries. I'm just saying that you can't sum up the populations of the countries which are getting the concert on some channel and then claim that all of them are watching you right now.
Anyway, just got a little ticked by Bruce's exaggerated claims.

Someone please name one other performer than can out do Maiden, name one other performer that can do a world tour and sell out 50000 + at every venue. Maiden is about unity ! Look at all of us we are not out to kill each other! We shake hands hold our fist high and chant Iron forever!! I have seen Maiden over 20 times and not once did i see someone getting into a fight in a parking lot or some getting hauled away!

I can't help but object to one thing Bruce says. He states that the concert is being broadcasted across a few countries and 20 something people are getting it and _watching it_. Now... the fact that they can watch it doesn't mean that they are. In fact, only 1 person might be watching it. That's like saying that if the BBC is showing the concert, then a billion (or whatever) people are watching Iron Maiden. It's a bit hypocritical of Bruce, since he keeps ranting about media bullshit and so on.

maiden always have had a good attitude to bootlegging, unlike a certain lesser (much lesser!) band.
oh they are both gods, for sure gods, but still, i have definetly got to say though that Maiden is better, like fuck, they got a mascot, they have more recognizable albums, and they have a nutty fucking bassist and 3 nutty guitarists, Metalica has a ver nutty guitarist and only about one recognizable album which stands out greatly in a very good way, they are both definetly gods, but i have to say that maiden is better
