Thank you so much for your helpful information about getting out of vehicle and scouting out route. My husband and I ride rzrs. I've never been on tomichi pass. Wanting to try when we go up in September. Thanks for all your hard work to keep trails open. If I lived up there, I would totally volunteer!!
I was there a day or two before y’all did all this work. What you did was definitely an improvement on both trails. Wished I lived closer, bc I certainly would be a volunteer. Thanks, Marcus for all you and your team do to keep these trails open!
Great work! Love the advice about walking a trail and seeing if it's a good idea to drive or not. Lol that's exactly what I did on that very same trail, walked it and said nope! Also if you need volunteers for trail work please consider some communication to CORE members, members like me would gladly help out
Nice work on Tomichi, really very impressive the difference your efforts are making. It appears to be a whole lot safer. It is just too bad irresponsible abuse the Privilege to explore the outdoors via 4-wheeling thinking they need to prove something to themselves conquering an obstacle and putting access to the pristine areas at risk from closure by the government. Build it and they will come seems to be the theme here. I remember the days when seeing anyone on this pass was a rarity. Palisade looks very challenging with the number of huge rocks and the act of making small ones out of huge ones is a daunting task. Best of luck with that one. Great video Marcus and I hope that your channel grows to where more people will be aware of the importance of being a friend to the outdoors and respecting the "privilege" of having the access because there are people out there that want to close everything down.
Haven’t driven Tomichi since 2011 when our JK was still stock width. Jeep is now roughly 83” to 84” wide-will we still fit on that shelf road leading up to the pass?
Thanks for watching. Yes, your Jeep will fit on the shelf road. Since we reopened the route, I have taken my YJ (86"+ wide) up and down the road many times.
Wait, you mean we’re supposed to use our OWN judgement when we CHOOSE to off-road… an activity that I know is sometimes risky as conditions can change from day to day. It’s wild you have to even say that… but I understand why, just disappointing. Great video Marcus!
You and your volunteers are awesome. Excellent trail rehabilitation
Thanks to you, and all of your crew of Volunteers, for all the effort and hard work that you all put into this. It's very much appreciated.
For sure!
Thank you. Wife & I did Tomichi today. Thanks
Great job Folks!!
Thank you!
I got to drive Tomici Pass back in 2012. A stunning trail, thanks for what you do to keep it open!
For sure! Thanks for watching!
Looks great good job! Hard work especially at that elevation!
Thank you!
For sure! Thanks for watching.
The best off-road organization around… hoping my 11 on/4 off schedule starts soon. Trail work is so much fun!
I would love to have you out and collaborate on a trail/project video.
@@keeptrailsopenonce 11 on/4 off starts, I should be able to. Going back to GJ once I get back from TN.

Right!? Personal responsibility seems like a lost concept these days...
