No it would not. Shortly after Order 66 Yoda went to take on the Chancelor. Without Anakin going rouge Anakin, Obi-wan and Yoda could have easily dealt with the chancellor.

I'm interested in alternate universes for Star Wars. They could even make a version of Star Wars similar to ones we have but with better plot (like less plot holes).
He already had visions of freeing the slaves in the galaxy mentioned in the phantom menace something that he may have actually done if he hadn't turned, he would've made it to his full potential unlike when he turned and became Darth Vadar.

Putting aside that Rex almost killed Ashoka. More important is that Sidious never actually give order to clones to not kill Anakin. They were simply programed to kill everyone force sensitive who wasn't Sidious (or his clone), which is also why they know about him or try kill Maul.

@@TheRezro I'm fairly sure that palpatine didn't give order 66 to the 501st battalion on coruscant and that it was Anakin himself who ordered the clones saying that he was ordered by the chancellor, I don't see why everyone gets confused with that part
If Anakin didn't turn then yes he would have survived. In fact he might have even saved Rex like Ashoka did. Maybe even all of them
Assuming 66 still gets enacted somehow and Palpatine doesnt get arrested there isnt a chance anikan survives 66. People forget a key thing about anikan. He was way too trusting and attached to the clones around him. He would've never seen it coming when they turned
Obi Wan was suspicious and he didnt see it coming. Yoda was suspicious and it's the only reason he survived. Anikan would've rushed head first into battle only to have a bunch of his clone friends shoot him in the back
@@TheBacknblack92 maybe. Anakin survived so long in the war because he was smart. The only clone he trusted was actually Rex. Appo even as Vader he trusted very little so it's safe to say if Anakin didn't turn he would use his darkkside to kill Appo and the other clones. As Vader he actually kiled Appo. At this point even Anakin would want Palaptine dead after the betrayal. As either Vader or Anakin he didn't exactly take betrayal all that well even before he turned.
I think Anikan would’ve gone into a dark side rage and killed a lot of the clones it turned on him but then when Rex showed signs of trying to hold back ahsoka would’ve stopped him from killing Rex and then they both would’ve save Rex
@@TheBacknblack92 Anakin was gifted in the force though. He would be capable of sensing Order 66 or he wouldve had a premonition of it like he had with his mother and his wife.
Yoda wasnt suspicious, he sensed order 66. Obi Wan was suspicious but that was after he was shot down by his clones... he almost died from the surprise attack.
Also on a side note, during Vaders early days(Post ROTS) there was a clone battalion that attacked him as they mistook him for a Jedi and he survived.
Assuming Palpatine was only baiting Anakin to chop Windu's hand, Palpatine would blast them away with Lightning or Push and bail out through the window, and catching a car or a speeder. Then he would quickly Execute Order 66 to create extra distraction. Just like in canon, most of the Jedi would end up wiped out and attack on the Jedi Temple would be underway. Palpatine would probably ignore heading up to the Senate for now, and maybe rendezvous with clone army in the Temple to do the deed himself. Anakin and Windu would get report about Temple under attack and would return to help defending. It could end in a stalemate, because both Anakin and Windu are powerhouses in their own right and they could have a good chance to take on Palpatine 2v1. Return of Yoda and Obi-Wan would tip the balance in favor of Jedi, Palpatine would be forced to retreat.

Well funny thing is that if you take in account the Old Republic games and novels, then yes you can heal. However Rey just does it like if it was the easiest thing possible.

Not only would he live he would be the greatest threat to Palpatine, especially if Obi Wan,Anakin,Yoda, and Mace Windu fought Palpatine. Although that would depend on if Mace Windu won or had to run as it’s not confirmed if Mace Windu won fair and square.

My guess that Mace would have won the fight but would be unable to finish off Palpatine due to some crazy plan he would have of escaping such as having clones/corosant guards save him or some secrete escape hatch.
Honestly, Mace won fair and square. I think Palpatine was just fine with losing if he did, as Anakin would have come over. Windu is highly regarded as the best duelist in the Order, and that includes Grand Master Yoda. If he beat Windu, he still could have tricked Anakin into falling to the Dark side in another way.

I have a theory about how Palpatine beat the three Jedi so easily. I think at the moment he attacked he stopped masking himself in the force, and seeing what Plagueis described as a black hole in the force stunned them all and allowed him to take them by surprise.

Well he did survive and to be honest he was one of the best known names in the Jedi Order. Anakin would be more of a lose cannon against Palps.
Last time I was this early Syfo Dias hadn't yet placed the order for the clone army.
Anakin had one of the best clone legions assigned to him which made his performance in battle against the Jedi (or anyone else) more effective. But think about it this way: if he didn't turn to the dark side there would already be elite troops near him to attack him, Palatine knew how powerful Anakin was and probably considered this. It works both ways people.
I have no doubt in my mind that there’s no one reason Rex resisted the chips. But the incident with Fives and witnessing his death definitely was a huge factor along with his relationship Tano.

I super agree with your assessment of the Chancellor's office duel. I also 100% think that Palpatine purposefully lost to Windu to convince Anakin to join the dark side. Palpatine was a literal genius of the dark side and of manipulating people, and as such probably saw that Anakin needed a little more convincing to be completely turned. Glad we both came to that conclusion and awesome video!
Better idea: Anakin holds back the clones eventually letting Shak-Ti/Cin Dralig to escape. Alone he is surrounded by clones and knows the end is near. He reaches out to the a Force and feels a familiar presence. He sees Ahsoka and Rex alive. He is able to telepathically tell her to find Padme, and keep her and her child safe. Relieved that his family will be safe, he walks out and holds his lightsaber close, allowing the clones to finish him and become one with the Force.

Obi wan got shot right off the side of a cliff and never saw it coming. He survived because of luck. Yoda only guessed it at the last second because he felt the other jedi dying. Anikan was way more trusting and attached to the clones than those other two. If anyone dies it's him

Vader pretty much single handed dealing with Jedi for over a decade following 66. With him fighting for the other team? That’s a lot more scary space wizards with laser swords running around
Bein one of the very few Jedi with a potential power enough to rival even the likes of Mace an Yoda. He stood a VERY real chance of surviving had he NEVER been anywhere near the Darkside. Given that he was probably one of the Orders most powerful Combat Knights an probably one of their most gifted Generals. If not their best.
Also, also if he's powerful enough to singlehandedly make the Force gods bow to his might. Whys it not conceivable then that he can't strait FIGHT his way out. Even ALONE if he had too? He IS a combat oriented Jedi Master Strategist, General AND VERY battle experienced an AGAINST Clones he'll ALREADY KNOW ALL their abilities and flaws to exploit. That strong, an with that kinda knowledge it should be a peice of cake. Why not? Yoda an Obi fought their way in.
I'm sure the Clone Troopers would have had their numbers depleted by Anakin, save for the ones who could fight their programming.
I believe had Palpatine failed to take control of the senate, Padmé never died in childbirth, Anakin given more time would very quickly rise to the rank of Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Because keep in mind in this timeline he didnt lose all his limbs and thus kept his strong and OP connection with the force. He would become very very powerful being The Chosen One.
he didn't lose his strong connection to the force because of his "vader" suit . he lost that strong connection tot eh force because his mind was broken . 1. he lost the fight to obi wan ,and was mental flustered over it . and 2. he lost padme. which number 2 is the main reason i think his force connection dropped , it was alife shattering thing for him, not only had he betrayed the jedi order which he had loved at one point , but he did it all for nothing. it made him feel like gabage , it was a pain deeper than even the physical pain he endured in justs day to day living as vader. it was this part of him that luke sensed in him. the part that understood the depths that he had sunk to , to become vader.

oh and the sequel Trilogy specifically the Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker being pretty bad helped also

This story really needs a part 2.
Imagine how different Episode 4 would be with Anakin on the light side, raising Luke and Leia and with "Old Ben" somewhere in the background, meanwhile Palpatine is trying to recruit some new and less-experienced apprentice somewhere.
New Hope wouldn't have happened the Clone Wars would immediately start the Galactic Civil War before Palpatine properly set up the Galactic Empire. There would have been too much evidence left in this time line for Palpatine to sweep it under the rug and the remnants of the CIS would still exist knowing they were betrayed.

No. If he was at the temple he would have been killed giving his life to defend the younglings. He may be a great jedi with a lot of skill but he has a limit and that would be it. He'd be in the front line of defenders as is his personality. I just don't think they could last under so many clones. That is a lot of blaster fire as we see in the timeline. Maybe.. it's a tough argument

True it’s a lot of gunfire but he has a chokepoint plenty of allies and the defenses of the temple will actually be on in this timeline.
Plenty of Jedi survived the attack on the temple. Hell baby grogu did it! With one of The most powerful beings in the galaxy leading them especially one that’s lead these clones for ages? A great many will survive.
He certainly can’t hold the temple forever but he’s not dumb enough to try. He’d get the people and most important relics out then book it.
Consider the stunts he’s pulled in the second movie. The guy can move around the planet really easily.

obi had already ahd his go at "teaching" anakin i don't think a pep talk from obi would have helped . obi had already failed at teaching out anakin's anger and attachments. a better question would be : what if obi was not allowed to teach anakin because Yoda was going to teach him. i think yoda teaching anakin would have had a much greater impact on rather or not Anakin fell to the dark side.

What if anakin left the jedi order like ahsoka
Anakin had played with the idea of leaving the order, and had been on the verge of leaving it on several occasions, but he never did in the end. Asides from wanting to save his wife, Anakin had a innate hunger for power, which wasn't really born out of malevolence and a desire to control and to dominate people, but more about changing things in ways which he deemed better, especially because of his past as a slave and all the issues and injustices he saw in the galaxy, and he sought to achieve his potential as the Chosen One, asides from a natural inborn curiosity and drive to always learn more and to become better, especially concerning the Force. I don't think he would ever have given up the opportunities which the Jedi Order provided him, even for the sake of his wife and their future family, unless, he could learn about the ways of the Force in other ways, such as from Palpatine, who promised him more knowledge and power than the Jedi did and which is what ultimately settled the deal and caused him to defect, asides from all the limitations and perceived injustices he suffered at the hands of the order.
There was a distinct faustian characteristic to Anakin, a drive to always push the boundaries of his knowledge and of his power and to go further, even if he had to resort to dangerous and more than questionable means to do so at times. He even stated things to that effect himself, on several occasions, like when he talked about his wanting more than the life he was currently leading in Ep III, which he himself thought he shouldn't and was wrong, and when he alluded to Palpatine that the teachings of the Jedi Order were lacking and that there were things about the Force which they weren't telling him, implying he desired to learn about those things and about the Dark Side, shortly before his fall. And he did suffer a very faustian fate following his commitment to Palpatine and the Dark Side, including a fall from grace and a literal dismemberment, followed by a long period of pain and penance, before ultimately being redeemed in the end.
The Jedi temple guards were almost gone at the time of operation nightfall because when the grand inquisitor was a Jedi temple guard he killed most of them in preparation for operation nightfall.
still wouldn't have mattered ,if Anakin doesn't turn to the dark side , that fight at the jedi temple is gonna go down way different , even if the fallen grand inqusitor was there fighting against the jedi he was no match for anakin. the reason why the attack on the jedi temple was such a slaughter is because anakin the order's best knight was there to fight the jedi that could give the troops problems. take anakin out of that side of the fight and then you got a lot of jedi that are problems for the troops plus anakin who would be the biggest problem to them.
I really wish they would make an episode showing the attack on the Jedi Temple. They have an interesting take from the past for trailer videos for the game The Old Republic. But I would love to see Anakin take on the masters in a shirt film or even animated like Clone Wars.

In canon his connection is not reduced by his loss of limbs, but his mind after his fight with Obi Wan.

i agree , GT forgets that mace DID out right beat Sidious. it wasn't sidious meaning to lose. with out anakin's hand removing blow sidious just couldn't match mace windu.

If i remember correct it was confirmed by Lucas that Mace was winning in his battle against Sidious so if Anakin didint show up then Windu would most likely killed Palpatine.

I'd have to say that is a good question. It definitely would change how long the jedi would of held the temple. Many powerful jedi fell to anakin without realizing his betrayal

Honestly Anakin would have been better off leaving the order he could have announced his marriage to the Jedi council and resigned from the order then he could still continue asking a favor from Palpatine and continued his service as a republic general leading the 501 with Rex and Ashoka.
