To be fair, the clone army was created weirdly before the war even begun..
Why didn't the jedi find that wierd ? I guess even if they were suspicious of the clones they had a war to worry about so they needed them. It just feels like a plot hole that they accepted the clones who came from a bounty hunter hired by a known sith lord.

I loved that during the Republic Commando novels, it showed the leaders ordering the clones to take off their helmets more in public to try and humanise them to the public. An excellent example of worldbuilding, not just figuring out a problem (the public would be afraid of faceless soldiers), but also implementing a solution (give the clones free time and money to go to local bars and restaurants to show the public that they are living beings). I was so sad when that series was retconned by 3D Clone Wars, I love the TV show but those novels were what got me into the Expanded Universe
This! Exactly the same for me. Always enjoyed Star Wars, but those books made me a true fan. And they did so mich for worldbuilding in an efficient, „average guy“ way!

There’s this thing called the Clone Bar on Coruscant or it’s in-universe name: “79’s”. They’re allowed to freely interact with any civilians inside and look like they’re afforded some form of liberty.
It’s in the Clone Wars TV show and hella canon. I don’t know why every clone wars lore video I see regarding the troops omits 79’s existence.
because this is a Legends lore channel; Clone Wars is Disney. Even before Disney bought LucasArts and Star Wars, Clone Wars changed the lore for younger audiences and modern viewers, which the Disney later built their lore around. The newer Clone Wars tv show fits more in Disney lore than EU lore, especially with EU using indoctrination and training as a basis for Order 66, as opposed to the Clone Wars show's and Disney's inhibitor chips.

I'd be scared too of these potentially unstable super soldiers appearing out of nowhere
The brutality of the clones was truly exagerated in many occasions, and honestly I will 100% prefer to have clones than stormtroopers close to me, screw the Empire
Clones were also only really deployed to battle areas, so in the public's eye they left a trail of destruction behind them. Whereas the stormtroopers had no real battles to fight as there was no enemy apart from a small rebellion. So they would be seen as being more like peacekeepers. Furthermore, most of the people alive during the clone wars would've gone on to experience the rise of the empire as well and lots of them probably didn't even notice the difference, except for the fact that there was a huge trail of destruction or large scale battles.
Because they realized the clones had no rights, family, or anything they got to own. They were slaves and the Republic citizens were scared because they knew that if the clones wanted independence and got it, then the clones may not have to fight in the war and that means that Republic citizens would have to fight and god forbid they had to do that.
Because people love Larry the stormtrooper’s vlog on the Death Star
The more I watch these videos, the less I find myself supporting Clones. I still think that they're the best soldiers, but 1) they're organic slaves with no guaranteed future, who 2) would've lost the Clone Wars being vastly outnumbered by the droids, and 3) were essentially kept a secret from civilians with no real room for connection.
Some random civilians who are caught up in the galactic upheaval would be an interesting star wars series concept.

5:05 wtf there are bunch of flood there lmao
What’s with the clones getting infected by the flood
I guess I can kinda see how citizens were a little more afraid of clone troopers than stormtroopers. Knowing that a friend or family member might be under that helment would put someone a bit more at ease.
