That kickdrum sounds verygood! I tried ANYTHING for my kicks in 20 years of psytrance production, but I still do my best kicks with the beloved good old BazzISM v.2 🤣All I need is a curve from the top freq to the lowest (pitch modulation has to end a little while before the volume modulation finishes, so I have a "full tone" at the end - because it's the end freq that sets the tone of the kick - but all I need is a curve for the pitch and an MSEG for the amplitude mod (and I don't use the internal MSEG of BazzISM, I prefer to use DUCK by Devious Machines because I can curve my segments, a thing I cannot do in BazzISM). I also started to make my kicks shorter: a lil more than 1/16 of lenght, so It become easier to put my kick and bass in phase together; a thing I learnt with time is that LESS IS MORE, I don't need compressors (you sculpt the dynamics by correctly setting the MSEG of the amplitude). The only device I use is an EQ (to lower the "hum" at 200-240Hz and a lowpass filter to cut the veryhigh freqs) and nothing more 😋
Compression is for dynamics and giving a nice punch. Also helps in giving a little more room in mastering. If you want to make it deluxe, you split the sub bass freqs from kick and bass into their own audio channels. Give the subs a little different compression with little less ratio, a bit less Atk and play with Release, no Knee or Lookahead. So you get a nice dynamic jump after the click, when the bass sets in. Overall compression and splitting the sub freqs don't make a huge difference, but on a 10'000 W sound system you can feel it 🎉🌌 a trained ear will hear the difference also in a studio. What I miss in many yt video tutorials is, a notice about routing kick and bass into a mono bus channel. Edit: and make sure to create Kick and Bass in Mono beforehand. That's important tho. And i haven't seen many on yt using multi-band compression on a KickBass bus. This is what kinda fuses all components of a bassline into one functioning entity. Next to Side-Chain compression Kick>Bass. For the right frequency ranges of each band you can google it or play around. Generally, if you set a peak or so on a Bass EQ, that's the frequency you wanna compress. Not more than maybe 3dB. The channel dB shouldn't differ too much after compression. Maybe -0,8dB at max Or you risk in messing up dynamics and sudden peaks of loudness at some points. Then, if you send signals of Leads, Pads, Fx into one fx-channel with a unifying Reverb on it, same with percussions, fitting on the overall dynamics of KickBass, helps to make everything sound like one book. And yes that's right. Generally it's like photography. If the initial output to work with, already gets close to the result you wish, then less is more and has a higher quality.
Strange, it does look good to me. I'll look back to the premiere project to see if I messed something up. Do you have the timestamp or is it just immediately at the start of the video?
instead of using the LFO plugin, you can shape and bounce the audio of the kick itself. make it fit, control with an oscilloscope and bounce it. so there is no latency. also for processing i missed the side-chain and compressors. overall, i find it has more groove to it, when you give the kick a very little leftover after the 1/16th. exact cutoffs at 1/16th and all kinda take a way some drive it can have. so you can let the bass jump more fluent and not the same monotonous hightech repeats. all better with sidechain and have a little more signal to play with. and this you can automate at some parts and change the drive for some extra psychoacoustic touch bending the mind of dancers ;-P also, you left the magic ~500 Hz untouched on the EQ D: you need to highe it a little peak down. this will give some more pressence to other dynamics after compression.
Nice! Glad to see my inputs on your stream made it to a video! I noticed that you like to use Melda stuff, so I would also recommend using mbassador for phat results! Also nice work man, the track sounds dope
@@DemolitionD it should play at the octave on which the lowest harmonic plays between 25 and 75 Hz depending on key (the subbass region). this will differ from DAW to DAW, in ableton it's the 0 register (and a few of the lowest notes in the 1)

The groove 😻😻😻
Would love to see the acid leads and the background chirping noises , more specifically if its randomized or added manually

I'm glad you like it my friend!

thx, bro!!! pls more of this genre!!
I have 2 synth videos lined up & recorded 2 more synth shorts too! loats more stuff coming up!
Do i need to open 2 serums in my fl? I only can do the kick... but don't understand how it works with the bassline
yes the kick and bass are both made in a seperate instance of serum
@@Projektor_music thank you😊
good video For someone whos new in hitech or even new in psytrance its perfect. but i found some issues, audio is not sync with video in intro

I love ur vids,
... to b honest , in my hitech I prefare to use longtail kicks like u do in ur other vids ..
But Thanx , very inspiring 🎉
I don't often see that but if you do it right it will work as well!
I don't get the bass tone🙈 only a beep in serum but no bass, have everything done like you
have you tried playing a lower octave?
@@Projektor_music had it on -1 maybe need to go lower

@@Projektor_music ok will try it thanks. I use fl studio21
is there any free plugin like Serum I can use?
vital
but this kick bass style kinda unique
in a good way?
@@Projektor_music NOT THE PERFECT , but good
@@FUTUREMUSICK ohh...?
i think your voice and picture is out of sync man or my youtube lags 😿
yeah it seems to have a few syncing issues
kinda
Did you put mud on you, took a mud bath and rolled over on the ground in Psytrance concert? Is it how you got the allergies? 😂
no just normal seasonal allergies lol...
