Just ordered the Sport before tire side exit with black chrome for my 2022 F-150 5.0 SC Lariat. I was always a Borla guy but have heard many good things about Corsa and have done my research so I decided to pull the pin here today. Cant wait to get this installed :)
@@hellothere7946 I like it. Kinda what I wanted. Virtually zero drone in the cab at cruising speed but barks pretty good when on the gas. I'll try to upload the tiktok video I made of it.
@@hellothere7946 It did come with a res delete pipe which is great. Tho I didn't think it came with it. I wasn't going to do the res delete at first. Wanted to try without first. But when I took everything out of the and was mocking up the exhaust I quickly realized the stock resonator and pipe was too long to match up with the muffler and side exit piping. But the included res pipe was the right length. Then I found out there was no included flange with my kit so I had to cut the old res pipe and reuse my stock flange. Apparently there is diff kits that have optional hardware. I was short a flange, a exhaust clamp and then the pipe didn't match up. Something to consider if you decide to order this particular kit. Make sure you get the kit with the extra hardware which it should have come with anyhow. At the end of the day I'm still happy with the look and sound. It's loud when you want it to be and quiet at cruising speed. I don't hear any drone in the cab even with the res delete. Just sucks I didn't get the option to hear it with the stock res left in.
I’ve GOTTA get one of these front of tire systems with black tips! Just need to decide between Sport or Xtreme…I kind of want to go all out and get the Xtreme ha!
@Corsa Performance Exhaust Systems as commented above, any specific reason to go with the Sport over the Xtreme when adding headers??? Maybe it'll be too raspy?
Yes to both. Xtreme typically doesn't have packing and packing helps take out some rasp + lower the overall dBs. If you're not too worried about it then go Xtreme and you can always toss in small packed mufflers/resonators later on.
@@imezxrecc3 yea. Because this video is making me think that the sport sounds better and that the extreme is too loud. but i know from the previous gen f150 corsa, the extreme sounded wayyy better

The factory muffler has a internal flapper. Why didn't corsa implement this into this system?? No problem with v4 cylinder deactivation then. It's a shame these trucks have this now. Thx
Before I order have these been tested for the dreaded cylinder deactivation sound like the fluttering or helicopter sound when in v4 mode. I just removed a borla muffler this. The sound was horrible thx

What about the cylinder deactivation?????? How does it sound??? When in v4 mode
We didn't notice a significant change in sound but everyone's sensitivity to drone is different. Our system will be the best out there to combat it.

Depends on the length. Front of Tire Exit exhaust systems will not fit trucks with wheel to wheel (full cab length) bed access running boards.
