I am about half way through my build of the USS Constitution and I cannot imagine the build without the help of Gavin! Thank you so much my friend; your video is just invaluable in your instructions.
Thanks Dave, I'm so pleased that the video was able to help you, I did love building his kit. Not sure how far along you are but something to watch out for is the cleats that are supplied with the kit. There isn't enough of them for all the rigging and the cannons. on the lower decks, I tied down the canons with the cleats only to discover that I was short later on. my advice is just to secure the lower deck cannons with cement and keep the cleats for the upper deck. You can't really see the cannons fully on the lower dack anyway so it shouldn't take anything away from the build and will help when it comes to the main rigging.
Excellent work. Very explanatory. I am not an expert, but I need to give the frigate a realse of old with paint. The candles... They took away quite a bit of image. But congratulations!
AMAZING BUILD!!!! I would recommend finishing the rigging for the spanker/rear gaff sail, it would look and function much better. Overall, the build turned out museum-quality, or close to it!

Thank you for watching RichManDiego, I can't express how much I enjoyed building this kit. My build suffered an unfortunate event two weeks ago. while prepping for redecoration of the house the ship Masts got smashed. Oh well looks like I'll have to build it again, so not all bad news. 😁
