I'd like to offer a tip that either eliminates or reinforces the hot glue in the hinge especially if you go thru the paper. I use 3M medical tape some hobby outlets sell as "hinge" tape. It works well and it sticks quite well with no potential backlash from using too much glue or not wiping the excess out quick enough. Just make sure you apply it with the surface fully deflected!
There were some videos on an earlier model where Peter and Josh had one of each configuration. Peter seemed to like flaperons better. I would make the control surface go full-span in that case and you may want to cut different servo holes so that they are centered instead of having them so far outboard. You will also need to cut a wider bevel so your flaps can deflect to a max of 60 degrees.
Dude with the turbo tutor wing kit there is an extra huge piece that comes with the turbo wing that isnt showed here wtf man? This isn't looking right as I build it....

Wouldn’t the half spar cause the wing to break in half in a hard wingtip crash???
what is the wing span of the ft turbo tutor ?? i ordered one the other day no size of wing span
Are you selling rc flights
Looks like it would be easy to add flaps or would you recommend just programming flaperons?
U wont get a response from ft, in case ur expecting
