In true FT spirit, it would be great getting free STL files and the updated plans for scratch builders
They are updated
@@flyingpancake3983 where do I find the files
great idea for the rudder lower hinge
You'll need the bigger wire cutters
Will these items (rudder, stabilizing fins, and landing gear) be available as an upgrade kit for those of us who already have a Legacy in our fleet?
Also, Please consider re-shooting and updating the beginner series you did with Josh nd Josh many years ago with current technology.
I have one yet to be built kit that I ordered immediately after one I had stalled about 6ft above the grass on landing. The aluminum landing gear did tear away then, breaking ply box and tearing the fuselage open. The setup with less rigidity might have limited the damage to something less disastrous. Turns out I did overestimate the complexity of the repair - new ply box cut from scratch, doublers above torn fuselage sections - the plane still flies, and I have extra kit sitting on the shelf. This makes that second kit an ideal candidate to experiment with upgrades during winter. Updating the rudder with reinforcement and extra fins looks straightforward, but I think I did overhear something about free STL for the landing gear? Sure, functional equivalent can be designed from scratch as well, but if one were made available, even for a fee, I’d snatch one.
2 points. First, the Legacy V 2.0 value bundle does not include wheel cover nuts (to ensure your wheels don’t fall off). Or more accurately it does include nuts but they don’t fit the .125 inch wire provided with the kit. Very frustrating. Second, it’s pretty impossible to cut the .125 inch wire provided with the kit unless you have some really hefty bolt cutters. So make sure you have both the bolt cutters and the wheel cover nuts before you try to build the wheels, or else get ready for lots of frustration and disappointment.
hey flight test, if you are seeing this could you please create a B2 bomber? :)
Where are the STL files or the landing gear?
where can i buy this airplane building cardboard, everything for electric mechanism and controller for airplane
Please respond to this message, I would like to buy the Flite test FT STEM EZ-Power Pack 2 channel. But i dont know how many days will it take to arrive. Please tell me the time.
So has anyone every caught the measurement for starting the landing gear? Is it an 1 inch or is it an inch and quarter? ua-cam.com/video/PO69MiqK5iI/v-deo.html - here it is an inch but when starting the second landing gear (ua-cam.com/video/PO69MiqK5iI/v-deo.html) it is 1.25". Which is it? I am going to assume it is an 1.25".
