I was saved out of new age by the Grace of God, and I was skeptical of the Bible because my “spiritual teacher” said it was corrupted by men to oppress people. I went through a period of heavy enemy attacks of disbelief after I got baptized. But the Holy Spirit was there with me, He convicted me, I had no right to an opinion unless I read the Bible myself. I humbled myself, I prayed and I asked God to open my eyes, to soften my heart and HE DID! He even facilitated an incredible Free Bible Course that helped me study the Old Testament and that’s when I had the revelation of how HOLY & GOOD our Lord is. The word of God is ALIVE, and it heals. I’ve been living for Christ for a couple of years, I did nothing to deserve his grace and mercy. My life is His, JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! Blessings my brothers and sisters. 🤍

I'm not a fan of movies anymore, but I never get tired of watching this one movie. I've watching The God who speaks for almost 2 years. It produces in me an awe for the Word of God, and the desire to grow deeper in Him.

Reading the comments drives home what Jesus said about the narrow road and broad road. It also shows me the differences in how people view Gods word. Its heartbreaking to see so many different views on doctrine that God clearly put in His word. We really must take Gods word over any human opinion. Scripture interprets scripture. The old testament is new testament concealed and new testament is old testament revealed. We are certainly in the end days. Very good video!

The only thing "enlightening" is mixing messages. Have you not read the Bible when it says "Do not be unequally yoked? How about Romans 16? You are too quick to focus on the message instead of the carrier of the message.

My testimony... God also speaks by downloads for lack of better description. I was blessed with a one time meet and greet =). I 'thought' my specific questions face to face with Jesus and he answered with 'instant knowing' of his answer. It all happened organically and it felt more real, more complete than words or language could ever do, and yes...it was just like a conversation.
I try reading the Bible often. I find it difficult to understand some of it. Since I started reading it I found it brings me comfort. I sometimes wish I was raised with it more and had more of a deeper understanding and explained in terms of its relevance in daily life. I would like to learn how to read into the word more and dissect it so I can have it memorized almost word for word with knowledge of its meanings
I see a lot of myself in your comment. I find a lot of the old testament a lot harder to grasp. I realised it was best to read the gospels, romans first then psalms and proverbs, then the rest of the new testament. I find it very hard to memorize word for word. I want to win souls and preach to people I know and other. So ive been watching a lot of youtube channels with christian street preachers. Bryce Crawford is great, Cliffe Knectle,ray comfort. I brought this book by Ray comfort called the Evidence Bible which a perfect form of the bible with extra insight comments that helps you defend your faith and teaches you how to approach people with the gospel. I am a fairly new christian and about an hour ago, i just preached to my first person. It was kinda scary but a seed has been planted.
I hope this question doesn't come across disrespectful. I really was just wondering since a lot of people like to say that it's god's word only and it doesn't need to be interpreted. How does it make you feel that it's not easy to read? That you don't just understand it right away when you are suppose to live your life like that?
What a beautiful and eye opening documentary! 1,5 years ago I did not even HAVE a bible and now I am just getting a glimpse of what I truly in my hands when I hold it. I was “Born Again” (Gospel of John chapter three KJV), on June 27, 1960 @7:30pm. I recognized Jesus Christ of Nazareth as GOD of gods, LORD of lords, KING of kings, ALPHA and OMEGA and simply ask Him to be my Savior and LORD. YAHWEH actually spoke to me approximately 6 years ago as I was recovering from an exceptionally painful rotator cuff surgery. I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder four years earlier and had experienced much less pain. I was commiserating with my redeemer for the pain He allowed when I heard an audible voice asking me to pray for a world wide ministry. I instantly knew it was the voice of God and started arguing with Him about my age and physical condition, but said He would have to equip me with everything I needed to follow His lead. There have been far too many examples of His interventions in my life since that experience to recount here. There has been much physical pain since reluctantly accepting YAHWEH’s challenge but incredibly fruitful. Maranatha!!!

I was “Born Again” (Gospel of John chapter three KJV), on June 27, 1960 @7:30pm. I recognized Jesus Christ of Nazareth as GOD of gods, LORD of lords, KING of kings, ALPHA and OMEGA and simply ask Him to be my Savior and LORD. YAHWEH actually spoke to me approximately 6 years ago as I was recovering from an exceptionally painful rotator cuff surgery. I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder four years earlier and had experienced much less pain.
I was commiserating with my redeemer for the pain He allowed when I heard an audible voice asking me to pray for a world wide ministry. I instantly knew it was the voice of God and started arguing with Him about my age and physical condition, but said He would have to equip me with everything I needed to follow His lead. There have been far too many examples of His interventions in my life since that experience to recount here. There has been much physical pain since reluctantly accepting YAHWEH’s challenge but incredibly fruitful.
