I'm not a fan of movies anymore, but I never get tired of watching this one movie. I've watching The God who speaks for almost 2 years. It produces in me an awe for the Word of God, and the desire to grow deeper in Him.
You took the words right out of my mouth. I thank God for you and all who took part in making this movie available
I was saved out of new age by the Grace of God, and I was skeptical of the Bible because my “spiritual teacher” said it was corrupted by men to oppress people. I went through a period of heavy enemy attacks of disbelief after I got baptized. But the Holy Spirit was there with me, He convicted me, I had no right to an opinion unless I read the Bible myself. I humbled myself, I prayed and I asked God to open my eyes, to soften my heart and HE DID! He even facilitated an incredible Free Bible Course that helped me study the Old Testament and that’s when I had the revelation of how HOLY & GOOD our Lord is. The word of God is ALIVE, and it heals. I’ve been living for Christ for a couple of years, I did nothing to deserve his grace and mercy. My life is His, JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! Blessings my brothers and sisters. 🤍

I was “Born Again” (Gospel of John chapter three KJV), on June 27, 1960 @7:30pm. I recognized Jesus Christ of Nazareth as GOD of gods, LORD of lords, KING of kings, ALPHA and OMEGA and simply ask Him to be my Savior and LORD. YAHWEH actually spoke to me approximately 6 years ago as I was recovering from an exceptionally painful rotator cuff surgery. I had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder four years earlier and had experienced much less pain.
I was commiserating with my redeemer for the pain He allowed when I heard an audible voice asking me to pray for a world wide ministry. I instantly knew it was the voice of God and started arguing with Him about my age and physical condition, but said He would have to equip me with everything I needed to follow His lead. There have been far too many examples of His interventions in my life since that experience to recount here. There has been much physical pain since reluctantly accepting YAHWEH’s challenge but incredibly fruitful.

God speaks to mankind by what surrounds us everyday in our everyday life. What is missing is our commitment to remain purposefully quiet in our minds with the relentless self talk we entertain. We must be mindful of God’s reality from the moment of awakening to the time of embracing sleep at bedtime. Don’t think but know that He is omnipotent beyond our limited imaginations. He is Creator and we are mere creatures.❤

also, NATURE is God's "second book." There are so many tremendous lessons in nature. We say, "as in the physical, so in the spiritual." This is why Jesus drew upon the facts of nature to illustrate the many truths He daily taught.

Beautiful! Jesus perfectly fulfilled the Scriptures and upheld the moral law of God. Yet most of His followers today say that the same law is not relevant and it should be ignored.

The law is unobtainable its there to show us our sins and to guide us, only Jesus can trully set us free from the law
Seminaries are more like Cemeteries as the greatest Preachers studied the Word as I did 40 years ago in the Woods for 4 months crying out for Truth and Jesus came off the pages and broke me as I wept and laughed for weeks. That's the problem is the church does not study the word of God as Commanded. It's a Command not a suggestion

It is a good thing that this documentary was made, but what a disastrous intro that was: "if God could speak"! What do you mean if He could speak? He spoke this world into existence, He gave laws to all people through His Word, He is speaking today in your conscience to stop sinning and turn away from satan and evil and become God's child through Jesus, He is always speaking as long as this world will exist and long after! All will be gone but His Word will remain for all eternity!

The bible is the written word of God. I am an Engineer and my core subject is Mathematics/Physics and I see how God uses numbers and science to do reveal Himself to man which have taken years to discover just the tip. I wanted to know how many days are in the Jewish month so I divided 1260 days by 3 1/3 years = 360 days in one year. I then divide 360 days by 12 and got 30 days in one month. Time, Times and divided of time = 3 1/2 years and 3 1/2 years = 1260 days. God is a God of numbers and science. God is multi dimensional, while man is limited the 4 dimensions which are Length, Width, Height and Time. Heaven will be a glorious place when all Knowledge will be revealed.
I often wonder how much will be revealed to us in heaven. I would love to be able to see what existed in the world at the very beginning.

Jesus Christ came to give His life as a payment. He loves us with an unfailing love but we must recognize that we are not perfect as God is and that our sinful nature is what separates us from God. But those who see their need for a savior, repent of their sin and accept Jesus Christ as Lord, will be saved! The Word is like a two-edged sword that pierces between flesh and soul. It challenges us to not only love others but to live lives of holiness, putting away the things of the flesh. Jesus Christ came in a manger the first time but will come as King of Kings and Lord of Lords the next. Don't procrastinate on your decision to receive Him!
Remember… the fourth commandment KJV reminds us of Genesis 2:2&3. Jesus is our example. Even the forty days after His resurrection!
Acts 2:38 must be born of water and spirit to enter the kingdom of God. Acts 2:38 states the one and only plan of salvation. Repentance and belief is the first step. Gods word does not contradict itself. After the book of Acts which is the plan of salvation, is speaking to the people of his church who were already baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. So calling on the name of the Lord was how they were saved while being baptized. Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and no other name under heaven where by which we are saved. See Acts 2:38 and John 1-3. 🙏

Everywhere I look I see God's Words. When I look at trees, I see God's Word that spoke it into existence. The same for dogs, cats, fish, insects. When I look up, I see God's Word. When you look through a microscope, I see God's Word, and the same with a telescope. God spoke through His Holy Bible. God spoke as Jesus. God is speaking right now through Holy Spirit filled men. Not a day goes by that God doesn't speak to you and me. Does God speak? Constantly.
The bible is Yahwehs Word...in the beginning there was nothing but then He SPOKE everything into existance❤ thats how powerful His word is! For me the bible is Gods story of love to us over eternity.

I love this documentary. I’ve watched it over and over. I’ve noticed that Amazon prime removed my favorite Christian documentaries even though I downloaded them
this one is still listed on amazon prime for me.
Which ones were removed? I hate streaming services. The problem is that many things aren't even available on DVD or blu-ray anymore.

Bible is his love letter to us. The Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Two things I don't like about this so far. The word Palestine being used for a land that prior to Israelite taking it over it was called canaan. the romans called Jerusalem Palestine once they forced the jews out at their last rebellion. This was done as a final insult to the jewish people as palestine is how the Romans called Philistine one of the main enemies of Jerusalism.
And two the word Judaism. God's word us for all mankind. He used all 12 tribes of israel to be lights to the world. They failed more often than not.

I think you should pay attention to Jesus of Nazareth the Christ when he said, "These things I do, you too shall do, and greater" John 6, "shine your light with good deeds in front of others to honor God" Matt 5, "clean the cup on the inside where there is wickedness" Matt 23, and "GO AND LEARN what this means, 'God wants mercy, not sacrifice'" Matt 5. In all likelihood, you have been indoctrinated by churchgoers with various motivations, including the US-led profiteering businesspeople who want fervent hypocrites obedient to their creeds. Jesus, however, taught "Those who say, 'Lord, Lord' won´t all get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Those who do the will of God, do." Matt 7.
The will of God? Jesus taught "love thy neighbor as thyself, and God first." as the fulfillment of Moses, not the return to the stone tablet mindset. So, learn how to modernize the Good Samaritan parable, the Two Sons, the Great Banquet, and the Sower and the Mustard Seed. I draw a lot from George Fox et al´s Quaker Friends, who have left a wonderful legacy, that has powerful convergent points with the central accomplishment of Thomas Aquinas´ legacy in post-monastic Universities.
Updating, modernizing, and implementing love of neighbor and care for self, to honor God with spiritual practice is the implication of America´s legacy of Freedom of Religion in Civil Rights, and UN human rights, and now sustainability. Not swallowing corporate profiteering propaganda and ignoring their abuses and excesses, and the need for pro-social, pro-spiritual culture.
Jesus didn´t just die, spilling blood for our sins. He established a loving and just integrity standard, certified it with his suffering and Resurrection, and potentialized salvation for who honors it, with Zacchaeus in Luke a reasonable approximation inasmuch as it is only a promise. Clearly, the example of Social Europe is a complementary societal example, and addressing the anti-social propaganda of anti-communism for profiteers, and secularist atheist humanism in state-church societies are tasks. Now tell me you love God through Jesus, and that the HOLY Bible deserves to honor God in Spirit, Truth, and as Love.
@@dml2846 That is an idea to balance with understanding Jesus, on "love thy neighbor as thyself", "loving-kindness, justice, and mercy", on hypocrisy and integrity, as in Matt 7 21, and the Two Sons parable, along with powerful statements like "The letter kills the spirit" and "faith without works is dead."

The only thing "enlightening" is mixing messages. Have you not read the Bible when it says "Do not be unequally yoked? How about Romans 16? You are too quick to focus on the message instead of the carrier of the message.
Are the gospels legends?
Another point is that on that view you would have to regard the accounts of the Man as being legends. Now, as a literary historian, I am perfectly convinced that whatever else the Gospels are they are not legends. I have read a great deal of legend and I am quite clear that they are not the same sort of thing. They are not artistic enough to be legends. From an imaginative point of view they are clumsy, they don’t work up to things properly. Most of the life of Jesus is totally unknown to us, as is the life of anyone else who lived at that time, and no people building up a legend would allow that to be so. Apart from bits of the Platonic dialogues, there are no conversations that I know of in ancient literature like the Fourth Gospel. There is nothing, even in modern literature, until about a hundred years ago when the realistic novel came into existence. In the story of the woman taken in adultery we are told Christ bent down and scribbled in the dust with His finger. Nothing comes of this. No one has ever based any doctrine on it. And the art of inventing little irrelevant details to make an imaginary scene more convincing is a purely modern art. Surely the only explanation of this passage is that the thing really happened? The author put it in simply because he had seen it.

Relationship is that TWO way conversation. That’s what God had with Adam & wants to have with us.
