For everyone else, there's only one author who has that special thing which Douglas had - that every single sentence is happy, flows perfectly from the last, and brings you in for the ride for hours. Terry Pratchett (also RIP) Discworld novels - there must be 40 of them - and I commend them to any of you, they're all online with audiobooks - try the ones by Nigel Planar or Steven Briggs. Seriously, try them!
