As a 44-year-old, I was feeling a little old lately, but after watching this inspiring episode that celebrated vibrant women in their 50s, I now feel like a youngster and as if the best still lies ahead!
I turned 44 on Christmas Eve. We're still young! 💚
I’m 37 and stumbled across this and im bawling lol. The chocolate lady story has me weeping like a baby. Tears of happiness for her I too long for a purposeful career and possibly one day a soul mate ❤️

Age is a western concept used to formalize documents & for identification purposes.
Eastern culture does not focus on the age of a person to determine how one is to or should be.
As you said Oprah it is 'perception' that's important.
Positive perception for me has resulted in coming out of being penniless as a single parent at a later age, working through the Sugar Honey Ice Tea & in my late 50's i went back to study & now @ 61 graduated as a lawyer.
My yoga practice, vegetarian lifestyle & spirituality has kept me young trusting that God is with me on this journey.

Coming of age is something I am not sure how to deal with but it’s approaching…i’m 46 and trying to really figure out, who I am inside and who I want to be for the rest of my life. I have done what I had to do, I’m searching for what I really want to do. I will get it together and start back working out. I think, after this episode, I’m feeling positive and looking forward to my upcoming years!!! Blessings!!
