I had the same cutting out at higher rpm with the timing they used in their video (15, 18, 21, 24, 27) but with it maxing them out(15, 20, 25, 30, 30) the cutting out went away. Sounded gnarly but the boost went up and egt's dropped.

In the process of building my 2001 that I bought new 20 years ago. I have had an edge on it for 16 years and looking for something better with more adjustable tuning. Do they have a screen and Pilar mount? Thanks for taking the time and sharing your install.

Will this tuner allow you to custom tune with bigger injectors and turbo?
Yes it will I had a quadzilla they are good chips lots of power but I found mine was just laggy as hell I went to a smarty s2g (runs 10,000x better and smoother) but the smarty only adjusts timing it doesn’t tap into the vp44 but I love how smooth it is so I bought a tst power max 3 and stacked it with the smarty because the tst pm3 is just a fuel box so it taps the vp44 and gets you all the fuel 180+hp gains then my smarty adds timing (cooler egt’s, better fuel mileage, bigger peak cylinder pressure) I love the smarty and the tst together more than the quadzilla.
Also smarty can adjust speed limit rpm limit and calibrate your wheels to match tac and smarty has wayyyyy better refresh rate so you can watch boost egt’s rpm in real time the quadzilla is slow as hell you can rev your truck up and it won’t show anything on quad for a few seconds smarty is like watching the rpm gauge it’s pretty much bang on.

What time are you using to get yours to smoke this much? I’m still working with mine but can’t get much smoke.
I have a 01 with the adrenaline v2, 150hp injectors and a stock turbo (momentarily), where/ how did you find custom tunes, or did you create them yourselves? I haven’t played around much with the custom tuning too much, mainly just run it on level 10.
1badvp44 makes good tunes
I have a Quad also. Check out mopar1973man.com. There is tunes you can buy on there for cheap. Quadzilla sent me the race tune over email and it rocks for a stock truck. I was disappointed with the factory loaded tunes.
@@Schneids15 yeah i’m not very impressed with the quadzilla as of now, i’ve had it for about 6 months and for a 180hp time you’d think it’d be a little more aggressive. to me the tune isn’t level. it’s not a gradual tune. it just kicks in on the drop of a time.

@@cameronkirkendall9270 yeah my truck did the same thing. Felt like below stock power then at like 2200 it was just kick in hard and make it hard to shift. I upped the can bus fueling at low boost levels and it really helped smooth it out.
Have you ever ran any edge jwa? Do you like the quad better, looking to switch just not sure if it’s worth it

Yeah forsure will lol I banged mine off the limiter for months and months and it’s still alive at 360k

6 speeds are ho motors, not 53 blocks

My stock 4.7 dodge ram would hold up right beside ya lol
