Question! If you use your normal profile in the mod, will any of that progression stay when I open regular Elden Ring?
When I was reading through the mod info it said it only works on an older version of the game. Did you get this working on the current version?

What program did you use to open the files? After extraction, then I proceeded to view the seamless coop settings but it comes up as to select an app to open either “browse Microsoft store” or “choose an app on my pc”

How this the loot around the map work? Can they also get the same weapon or things like that
@hit_that_sheitt8957 it's weird. Basically any drop from a boss or any item you find on the ground can be picked up by both players whenever they want. If u know where a somber stone and your mate picks it up, you can pick it up whenever you want it'll be there for you too

@Sciet747 no, it's more so there is 1. Lets say there's a somber stone lv 1 in this open field that is always there. Your friend can pick it up and it'll still be there for you but not for him. You can then pick it up and then it's gone and it's the same if you pick it up first then you can't see it or pick it up again but your friend can. You can pick up double items and drop them to your friend or your friend can drop it to you. So if you get the grafted blade from castle morn you can have your friend drop it to get 2 as if you're playing online but you and your friend will only receive one from the boss
Seriously i need to know can you transfer a MOD file to another PC and use it in the seamless co op on that PC
I'm a bit confused about the progression of the game with this mod. Will I be able to level up if I'm the "guest"? Get items, etc?
Yes you should progress like normal regardless of who you are with, if you have a fresh account and join a friend that also is starting over, when you leave their game, you should keep the progression you made in their game, also you share items and pickups. Although it's not perfect, make sure to sit at all bonfires even if your teammate did because sometimes you might not get it. Fast travel has a voting system, if you die during a bossfight then you spectate your team mate. That's a basic run down on how it works. Oh also the enemies are scaled with teammates
Is it possible to play with a colleague via lan? I mean a lan connection without access to the Internet
Any mods you'd reccomend to make the game harder to adjust for being more players in a game?
I know the seamless coop mod scales up enemy health for how many players you have in game, but tbh it's still substantially easier than solo. I'm not familiar with any mods that you can balance that out though unfortunately. If you check the link in the description, the mod details all of the changes it makes. Thank you

Lets say i change the sl2 to co2, and progress with my friend
When i go back to vanilla elden ring, will the progress be whatever i completed with my friend be saved or will my elden ring start from before i played with mt friend.
Also if u join ur friends world, and progress the game, will it progress in ur world too?
As i want to also be able to progress normally myself in the vanilla but also play with him

i just found that if you take your co2 file and rename it to sl2, it will transfer the seamless save to your original game. You basically just do the reverse.

does not work failed on line 2 in co op settings and i dont have a mod folder
mine keeps saying failed something about not connecting to the sdr
can someone help, me and a friend are trying to play but we keep getting the unable to join session error. we are both using version 1.5.1 on the mod and 1.10.1 on the game and as soon as one of us try to connect the summoning aborts
having the same issue and we are unable to solve it yet!

If i launch elden ring normally through steam what happens? Will I be able to play normal elden ring that way and is it safe to do that while having the mod?
Yes that's why there a separate launcher. As long as you do not overwright your ".sl2" (vanilla save file) with the ".c02" (modded save file). Hope this helps!

Can i play in my pc and my friend in his xbox?
i did everything you said and i can't launch the mod it shows a white screen for 3 sec and it disappears with no error

Two questions if anyone knows the answers that'd be highly appreciated:
1. Does this require the Easy Anti Cheat Disabler/for you to play in offline mode?
2. If you wish to play regular Elden Ring after playing Seamless Co-op, what's the process, just remove the co-op worldfile from %appdata% ?
What does it mean getting banned?
Is it just i cant play online anymore? or cant i play the game anymore?

Yes, even chest items and loot, quest items that are dropped by bosses will be given to you and whoever was in the encounter, although, when you are fighting a boss, if a teammate dies, they will be forced to spectate u til the encounter ends. It has glitched for me once or twice where I was spectating when my teammate killed the boss and didn't get the loot when he got it. Only happened once or twice. We were getting larval tears. Again it happens very rarely but it's something to keep in mind. Also, if you join a friend's world, your world should progress even if you leave theirs

No, the separate game launcher only opens your modded accounts and normal elden ring will only open the vanilla accounts without reading the modded profile. Basically so you don't get banned
How does the game know to join your friend?
You and your friend need to have the same code for the seamless coop file
how many players can join in a world?
The website says 6 total, but I've seen people do more, not sure how they did. I've tested with 3 players and it worked fine. But yea looks like 6 total for the mod itself
Does it work on cracked version of elden ring?

I found a reddit post discussing it, not sure if it works since I haven't tested It though. Just Google "seemless coop steam deck elden ring" then it should come up
Looks a bit more involved but according to this post it's possible. Reddit user: icebox_cowboi discusses it step by step
