Beautiful trailer! I would suggest mirroring the front wall of the garage in case you are loading or unloading by yourself, you can see the clearance between the cars and the fenders of the trailer. Just a little trick my old man did when I was a kid, growing up drag racing.
We have a sundowner with the same single jack up front and added two manual rv stabilizer scissor jacks. These help with leveling and take away the sway you get when camping. These are great trailers.
Please show us how you get in and out of your cars! Beautiful trailer, how does it work as a functional car hauler. Thank you in advance for your showing us that.
Thanks for a great walk around. I've been looking for a way of transporting my two cars. Why not get a stacker ? I would think the 450 would do alright with an aluminum stacker. I've been looking for a toters + stackers because my 3500 is alittle light for an insulated stacker and 53' wont fit next to my shop.
Glad you enjoyed! I simply wanted the floor space for things and don't mind the extra length. A stacker is probably more "practical" but oh well :). If I had it to do over again I'd still get the 53'.
OR, you could have gotten an over and under for the cars which would allow you to have a shorter trailer and more living space or same length and a tool box work area.

Looking at similar trailer for personal use. Have CDL for length and weight but am curious how your interactions go with DOT? Do you have “not for hire” lettered anywhere?
I would love a setup like this but I wonder if my obs 7.3 would be able to haul this it’s one the edge of it tow capacity and I wonder how big a vehicle you can fight in there ? Also you not at the limit of that f450 if this weighs 17k fully loaded you are not even pushing it if it was bumper pulled that truck it rate between 21k and 24k lbs bumper pull and like 37klbs gooseneck/ 5th wheels capacity so your good weight wise and those vets look awesome
Badass setup this is a perfect Setup for a otr hotshot hauler living courters could be your DOT sleeper i ran a Full size chevy 2500 conversion van and enclosed trailer and a full size gmc Yukon xl and a 20ft flatbed
I just found your video, how do you get in and out of the cars when loading and unloading. Can you post a video of the process? I'm considering a trailer that is similar, but am wondering if I should ad side door access for the in/out of the cars
Appreciated! Honestly it's held up well and I have no huge complaints. There's not a lot that I would change (if anything) - at least nothing worth noting.
@@ddxauto Thanks for the reply and the candor. You mentioned not wanted a stacker due to the height, but with your generator being mounted up top with its surrounding fascia I would assume its similar in height to a stacker. With that in mind do you think the height would be an issue at least compared to what you have now?
@@hillperformancebimmers4026 To be honest it's probably close. I think I'm at 13' and it's fine. Even if it were a foot or 2 higher it'd probably be fine.
Why not put the beds and windows on the other side of the trailer so that you could have some escape doors on the left side?? Seems like it’s tight as hell getting out of the car when you actually drive it in there.
I had originally spec'd a full shelf system over the passenger side tire well (which wasn't available on the other side). I removed it last minute and didn't reshuffle things. If memory serves the couches may not have been available on the other side but I could be wrong. Regardless, it's not a huge deal getting in/out.
Nice beautiful trailer .That trailer is way to low to the ground for me. as an old truck driver over the road. i know dips in the roads will make it drag the ground , plumbing underneath will get knocked off first thing.it needs aleast to be jacked up 8 inches or more .
Put some pipe insulation tubes (cut in half) on the sharp edges of the garage cabinets. Save yourself some headaches 🤕😨 Nice trailer. Good luck at the races. 🏁🎉🥂🍾

Overall the setup does great :). I have a video I'm editing now of a trip I took earlier this year where I go over some of the details of driving and overnighting.
This trailer just might suffice for what I had imagined, for hauling around my TWO 1955 Buick Super Coupes (56R) @ 215.91” overall length ea., 80” overall width, 62.4” overall height &, 127.01” wheelbase.. my SuperDuty’s only an F-250 tho so, wud need to upgrade truck itself or, do similar trailer buy for one car haul length. Total weight per Buick is 4,200-4,500 Lbs. Ea., dry.. both also have factory a/c, which I’m guessing adds at least an additional 250 Lbs. EA… My eventual goal is to have one of these as close to fully restored as I can do &, the other one retaining as much of its current “patina”, whilst being fully restored mechanically & electrically, possibly even mod’ing it to be HYBRID would be awesome! I do wonder if first car loaded, if facing backwards, would help place majority of front-weight of both cars, more over the 3 trailer axles, then truck tongue weight ?
It's on the roof to get more floorspace. It's higher above the roof because it sits on a aluminum lattice structure to support it. The 'hat' over it fits pretty snug as well so height-wise it is what it is.

With so much roofspace i would consider solar panels with a limiter inverter, basically these inverters will add ac power to your ac power provided by the generator. No battery needed.
You can put 2 corvettes in a 17’ space just by making the trailer a little bit taller about 2 more ft of yours and with a 4 post hydraulic elevators, that’s just how I would of done it but im not saying your setup is not nice is a great looking rig man👍

Safe journeys and good times to our American cousins.
Appreciate the feedback! I've had a 24, 48 and now this 53 and the 53 is really a great tow to be honest. I use this rig for purchasing cars and weekend events and the "small" living space suits the purpose well :).
Go big or go home, I guess. This is the size of my residential trailer I would like to have. The forefront garage I would make to an office, add some bunk beds and an additional full bath/toilet room for 2 full baths. More windows on the garage side. An full sized oven and all aluminum interior with wood finish like Azdel. So nothing can rot you away. More multifunctional chairs or desks as well. It would be an permanent residency full aluminum hooked up to the city electricity and water. I see the chassis is aluminum as well. For -40 degress Celsius winter I would have the fresh water tank only in the inside or have the bottom insulated for keeping water and waste tanks warm enough. Rising up the fresh water tank allows you for natural gravity water supply. The fresh water tank would be flat and on the cealing of the first garage where the car sits. Plumbing and electric cables all outside visible from the rooms for maintainance. Eliminate all TV, built in radio and luxury stuff. Awesome. I guess I leave these dreams for heaven since I never will have that money for one of these.
Nice rig I noticed that the generator has metal 4 square junction box feeding out of generator this junction box is not weather proof shock hazard exist enjoyed video
You can achieve 2 cars in a much shorter trailer by means of a 2 car stacker. Very common and way easier to manouver around than a 53' unit. Also give you a lot more space.
I think I said "plugs" 58 times. I like things.
What is the price?
Is it possible to find out the price of this trailer?

1) the prep for the vhb tape was hurried. i.e. the worker went too fast, or his rag was soiled, you get it. We used special solvents.
