The man with the nannequins reminds me of I AM LEGEND where will smith goes to the movie rental store. So creepy.
But it’s obviously staged where he has them in his apartment just to seem “weird” or “kookie” for this TLC series. The dude clearly isn’t dogging and diving around mannequins to get his food out the microwave.

The utter disappointment in the mustard man’s wife’s voice when she said he quit his job as a lawyer to be obsessed with mustard had me 😂
My bunny passed 4 days ago, she was my baby and I understand perhaps more than most the difficulty in letting go. Putting her in the ground felt so wrong, I kept thinking “she belongs with us.” But there is also something to be said about respecting the body of the deceased; whether they be a cherished companion animal or a person, they deserve that final gesture of love - dignity in death. We have to accept that they are gone, and let them go. Allowing her body to return to nature was the most natural and respectful thing I could do. She is buried beside a tree in the forest, and that tree and other plants and micro-organisms will use her energy to sustain themselves, and the cycle of life as we know it. There’s a beauty and peace in that.

I feel badly for Barry's wife. To have your partner so deeply engaged with anything with that level of intensity seems like it would take 100% of his attention which leaves very little for anything or anyone else. That sounds lonely and Barry needs to recognize that having balance is crucial, connection is crucial, and that she suffers greatly when he chooses to ignore her and other aspects of their life together.

I know you’re right. A lot of us collect things and don’t have an anxiety disorder but some of these collections are very very over the top and there could easily be an element of Ocd involved. My bro has severe Ocd and am sadly too familiar with the signs

One of my first memories as a baby was flying Pan Am. Those walls, the windows, it's perfect. I flew Pan Am when I got older and it was literally MAJESTIC. It was an EXPERIENCE versus the nightmare bus station-like hell that today's airlines have become. I really don't think his obsession is a bad thing. If I could afford, I too would be living in a vintage plane.
These folks are just vibin' on their own frequency. I'm here for it.

As someone who is also a collector (dolls and rubber ducks), once the collection starts to grow bigger than the original desplay area, it's time to put some things in storage.
To be clear, this doesn't mean you can't desplay these items, it just means you need to rotate your collection every now and again.
I also collect rubber ducks! My collection isn't to that point yet, but it's getting there lol
